It features Knox Extreme Armour – their toughest yet – in the shoulders and elbows. Fully certified to the highest CE standard – EN1621-1 Level 2 –  Knox Extreme are twice as protective as standard Level 1 protectors. They are also certified to perform to the same standards at extreme temperatures, tested at +40°C to -20°C to replicate use in extreme climates. A full back protector that is CE certified to EN 1621-2 Level 2 and adjustable chest protector are included too, for complete upper body protection

The low profile armour has a smooth finish with thin edges and is designed to be as flexible as possible. Combined with the four-way stretch mesh on the sleeves, it allows the wearer to move freely and ensures protection is maintained in all positions.

Made from tough, high tenacity fabrics, the Defender is thin and light, so it sits neatly under jerseys and jackets. A soft Leather collar and the Defender’s tailored fit aid all-day comfort, enhanced by the mesh construction, which helps to regulate body temperature and prevent moisture build-up. The armour can be removed so that the shirt can be machine-washed to keep it fresh.
