Yamaha celebrated its 70th anniversary in July 2025, and ever since the very first model – the YA-1 – rolled off the production line, this world-famous motorcycle and scooter brand has continuously reinforced its reputation as a leading manufacturer of innovative, enjoyable and exceptional powered two wheelers.
Every Yamaha motorcycle and scooter has been designed to deliver a unique riding experience that inspires, excites and satisfies the rider. From the game changing R9 Supersport and sensational MT-09 SP Hyper Naked through to the iconic TMAX Sport Scooter and XSR900 GP Sport Heritage, every single model that proudly wears the famous ‘Tuning Forks’ logo comes with Yamaha’s thoroughbred DNA and premium build quality as standard.
2026 sees Yamaha further strengthen and expand its wide range of two-wheelers with the launch of the new WR125R adventure bike. Driven by a torque-rich and economical VVA engine, this agile dual sport is designed to make the world of Adventure more accessible to younger riders and newcomers to motorcycling.
Yamaha’s class-leading Adventure family has led the way since the new-generation Ténéré 700 was introduced in 2019. For the new model year this important segment welcomes the restyled and upgraded Ténéré 700 World Raid – an incredibly capable and versatile long distance motorcycle that comes with a comprehensive specification for riders who want to explore the Next Horizon.
Following the recent launch of the award winning Y-AMT (Yamaha Automated Manual Transmission) on the TRACER 9, TRACER 9 GT and TRACER 9 GT+, this innovative new system is now available on the middleweight TRACER 7 and TRACER 7 GT models. Y-AMT features a fully automatic transmission system and a finger operated manual shift, offering Sport Touring riders the opportunity to experience clutchless gearchanges in both fully automatic and semi-automatic modes.
With its torque-rich CP3 engine, beautiful race inspired bodywork and Yamaha’s built-in racing DNA, the XSR900 GP has gained a loyal following of devoted riders since its launch. The addition of a new Legend Yellow colour for 2026 evokes memories of Yamaha’s winning GP bikes from the 1970’s and underlines the timeless appeal of this premium Sport Heritage bike.
With their athletic bodywork, aggressive stance and ‘Masters of Torque’ engines, Yamaha’s MT models are a firm favourite with riders of all ages and experience levels. From entry-level to high-performance, these Hyper Nakeds are built to thrill.
Since its introduction in 2001, Yamaha’s legendary TMAX Sport Scooter has achieved over 340,000 sales in Europe, and this outstanding model celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026. For the new model year the TMAX, XMAX 300, XMAX 125 and NMAX 125 will be available in a dynamic new Icon Blue colour, while the updated Tech MAX models will be offered in a new Crystal Graphite colour.
