The Dainese kit will soon be auctioned, and all proceeds will be donated to support UNICEF’s Road Safety for Children program, dedicated to ensuring greater safety for children on the roads.
On the occasion of the Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini 2025, Dainese announces the donation of the 1/46 kit from the Soleluna Vale46 Anniversario limited series – dedicated to Valentino Rossi’s 46th birthday – to UNICEF. The special kit, consisting of a racing suit and helmet, used by the Doctor at Mugello during a special training session in May 2025, will be auctioned to raise funds to support UNICEF’s Road Safety program.
Soleluna Vale46 Anniversario is the limited edition kit made by Dainese and AGV to celebrate Valentino Rossi’s 46th birthday. The kit consists of a Dainese Demone GP D-air® 3x kangaroo leather suit and an AGV Pista GP RR helmet – part of the advanced equipment of professional MotoGP™ riders, produced in Valentino Rossi’s custom sizes. Both pieces echo the Doctor’s iconic Soleluna theme, on this occasion featuring a midnight black and Carbon base and gold designs. The equipment is embellished with exclusive gold detailing that reproduces the gold leaf on the suit’s titanium sliders and on the shell of the helmet. There is of course Valentino’s ever-present fluorescent yellow, characterising these unique graphics that celebrate a very special anniversary for professional rider number 46. The kit is stored in a metal and plexiglass case specially designed to enhance its contents.
Only 46 numbered pieces of the exclusive collector’s outfit were made, consisting of a helmet, suit and numbered display case, signed by Valentino Rossi and featuring a certificate of authenticity. Limited numbers of the kit will be available in highly select sales outlets and art galleries during 2025.
Kit number 1/46 is the only one that Valentino Rossi has worn on the track, during a special training session at Mugello in May 2025, and is made even more special by the gold patch of Valentino’s unmistakable turtle on the shoulder, a unique detail that sets it apart from the other commemorative kits.
The Soleluna Vale46 Anniversario suit and helmet number 1/46, kept in the special display case, used by Valentino at Mugello and signed by the champion from Tavullia, will be auctioned to support UNICEF’s Road Safety for Children program on road safety.
