Bikeshuttle Offer Alpine Riding Adventures Without The Long Slog

Bikeshuttle Offer Alpine Riding Adventures Without The Long SlogA new service for motorcyclists who want to ride great European roads but don’t want to waste time and money getting there has been launched by Bikeshuttle.

Utilising a bespoke trailer that stows motorcycles in complete safety, the Bikeshuttle team offer a ‘roll-on, roll-off’ service near Heathrow with collection in Geneva, leaving you fresh to ride some of Europe’s best roads. The team offer a number of other options including drop off near Silverstone, bike collection and transfers to other airports.

With two lorry drivers traveling through the night, the service can save a rider three days of riding on dull, often wet motorways. Flying there also saves hundreds of pounds when considering the costs of the Channel Tunnel, French road tolls, fuel and additional hotels en-route. The complete bike transportation (and kit) service starts at £349.

Bikeshuttle was devised by two bikers who love riding the challenging routes of southern France, Switzerland and Italy but hated the long slog on the motorway to make the 1500 mile round trip.

Bikes can be dropped off at the company’s base near Silverstone or Heathrow, where the bikes are securely strapped onto trolleys and riding kit stored. Customers are then shuttled to the airport to fly out to Geneva, where they can spend a night in a nominated hotel on the French side. After a night’s rest, riders are re-united with their bikes, ready to take on the Alps!  Running from April-September, trips are weekly, departing from the UK on a Tuesday afternoon, returning the following Thursday morning.

Bikeshuttle encourage Group and Club bookings with multiple booking discounts. Bookings can be made now with no deposit needed until January.
