Adventure Bike TV
Geek Media Ltd has launched a new internet TV channel aim specifically at the adventure motorcycle market.
The web based channel which is free to access and contains 1 main show every month presented by Adventure rider Graham Hoskins, who gained notoriety in the TV series Motorbike Diaries, with Danny John-Jules.
The first show contains a review of the CCM GP450, a report from the BMF Rally, an in depth interview with Sam Manicom and a trip report from the 2 wheeled nomad team.
On top of these, there is a great feature called Tiger Vs. Tiger where the shows presenter races a Tiger Moth Bi-Plane.
Producer Tom Woodrow says “We are trying to be a bit different, the market has lots of websites and magazines dedicated to Adventure Motorcycling, and there are some great motoring TV show that do the odd feature on Adventure bikes but nothing that combines both the bikes and the adventures in a TV show format.” Tom continued by saying “We wanted to make the show informative and entertaining, this way the show can appeal to a wider audience. We want, not only the current adventure motorcyclist to watch and enjoy but also to try to encourage and inspire a younger audience to get on a motorcycle and travel. We are also going to be supporting budding adventure film makers by giving them a platform to show highlights of their work.”
Graham Hoskins who presents the show says “I think this show is a refreshing look at the market. I like that we are reviewing older adventure bikes as well as new, that we are trying to entertain as well as being informative. I also think it will evolve overtime, we already have great ideas for the show, and we will soon be bringing in a second presenter, so that I have someone to compete against in challenges, I can’t wait.”
The website also offers more, including the opportunity for anyone to record there own ‘Under the Visor’ interview, and a competition area.
