BMW Motorrad reveals eight new models at EICMA.
More new and updated models from BMW Motorrad for 2017 have been unveiled at Europe’s biggest motorcycle show.
BMW Motorrad has revealed another series of new and updated models with a new R 1200 GS and R nineT Urban G/S headlining an exciting range for 2017.
The new motorcycles are in addition to the six new and updated models shown at the recent Intermot motorcycle show in Germany and makes the forthcoming 2017 range even more comprehensive and wide-ranging.
New BMW R 1200 GS Rallye and Exclusive.
With the new R 1200 GS, BMW Motorrad has further widened the potential appeal of the class-defining R 1200 GS range. For the first time, customers can choose a BMW GS with a more marked touch of enduro or distinguished style to suit its preferred area of use by ordering the Rallye and Exclusive style packages.
In addition to the exciting new Rallye and Exclusive versions there will also be a standard R 1200 GS available too.
The most popular travel-enduro bike in the world, the R 1200 GS has now been optimised in a wide range of areas.

New BMW R nineT Urban G/S and R nineT
The R nineT Urban G/S is an all-new m for 2017 and an additional model in the fast-growing BMW Heritage range. It draws on the genes of the very first and legendary BMW R 80 G/S first seen in 1980, but transports them into the modern era with contemporary technology in the form of a classic enduro-style BMW motorcycle with boxer engine.

The updated BMW R nineT shares the same 1170cc air/oil-cooled boxer engine as the R nineT Urban G/S with both models now featuring a fully EU4 compliant engine and exhaust system. The R nineT also features fully-adjustable front suspension with further enhancements to the motorcycle geometry for greater steering precision and directional stability.
New BMW G 310 GS
The thrill and pleasure of adventure is more accessible than ever with the introduction of the G 310 GS. Small or tall, the 313 cc motorcycle is infinitely controllable and an endless joy to ride. Mirroring the look of the class-defining BMW R 1200 GS, the G 310 GS proudly displays its family heritage. With sophisticated technical highlights such as BMW Motorrad ABS as standard and the option for heated grips and LED indicators, you’re sure to be a leader.

New BMW F 800 R and F 800 GT
BMW Motorrad enhances its broad product range in the popular mid-range category by revising the F 800 R roadster and the sports touring F 800 GT motorcycle. The BMW Motorrad two-cylinder machines have always cut a great figure – whether for urban cruising, enjoying winding country roads in sporty style or dynamic touring with a pillion passenger and luggage. This applies more than ever to the current versions, which now demonstrate further improved all-round qualities.

New BMW K 1600 GTL
With unrivalled running smoothness, an inimitable sound and the supreme power of its 118 kW (160 hp) six-cylinder in-line engine, the extensively fitted BMW K 1600 GTL already provided incomparable dynamic travel pleasure in its existing form. In the revised version, BMW Motorrad has now optimised the luxurious performance touring bike even further.

- Six-cylinder in-line engine including new catalytic converters and adapted data status according to EU4 requirements, with an output of 118 kW (160 hp) at 7750 rpm and a maximum torque of 175 Nm at 5250 rpm
- Optimised wind and weather protection due to enlarged slipstream deflectors and windshield as well as side trim sections moved further to the rear
- Relaxed, upright seating posture with handlebars shifted further back (compared to the K 1600 GT) and lower footrests
- Topcase as standard with integrated comfortable backrest
- Electronic suspension Dynamic ESA with automatic damping adaptation as standard
