New Keis Heated Jacket with UltraFlex

Heated mid-layer combines Micro Carbon Heating with purpose-made UltraFlex fabric.

Relief from even the worst winter chill is now within reach of year-round riders, thanks to the latest innovation from Keis – the J601RP UltraFlex Heated Jacket.

This mid-layer garment combines in-house developed fabric technology and their proven Micro Carbon Heat elements, for maximum comfort and heating efficiency.

Keis-Developed UltraFlex Technology

The Jacket is made from a unique material called UltraFlex. Developed by Keis, UltraFlex fulfils the three most important elements a heated motorcycle mid-layer must have:

  1. For maximum efficiency, heated clothing needs to be pressed gently against the body – too tight and it can cause sores, too loose and it is less effective;
  2. Motorcycle mid-layers need to be flexible, so they don’t restrict movement on the bike or create tight spots, affecting blood flow;
  3. The fabric should not be bulky, so it takes up minimal space under riding jackets.

UltraFlex is made from a combination of 85% Chinlon and 15% Spandex. Commonly used in activewear, Chinlon is a synthetic, lightweight material known for its strength and durability. It also has a smooth, soft texture and can wick away moisture, making it an ideal choice for a motorcycle mid-layer.

Adding Spandex creates exceptional elasticity, and provides a generous four-way stretch. It helps mould the garment to the wearer’s body for a snug fit, without restricting movement.

Tried and Tested Heat Technology
Tried and tested Micro Carbon Fibre heating panels deliver consistent warmth without the weight and bulk often associated with heated garments.

Panels on the front, back and sleeves deliver infrared heat to the body’s core. Additional sections in the collar provide welcome relief to the neck, which is often left exposed to the cold in the gap between helmet and riding jacket.

The panels are washable and are so reliable that Keis offers a lifetime warranty on them.

Power on Tap
The Keis UltraFlex Jacket produces 65W of heating power. The level of heat it delivers is set using a Keis Heavy Duty Controller worth £38, which for a limited time comes free with the J601RP.

Supplied with everything needed to run directly from a motorcycle or scooter’s 12v battery, current draw is low (5.4A), so it won’t overload the charging system. Should the rider prefer, it can also be powered via the Keis Cigarette Lighter/DIN Power Supply Lead (an optional accessory).

Available in unisex sizes 2XS-3XL, the Keis J601RP UltraFlex Heated Jacketretails for £220 (including VAT). Alongside the lifetime warranty on the heating elements, the jacket itself is also covered by a two-year warranty.

New Keis Heated Bodywarmer with UltraFlex

New heated mid-layer designed from the ground up, using specially selected textiles and an enhanced heating system.

Keis Apparel, the UK’s leading provider of heated motorcycle clothing, has launched the next generation of its heated garments, incorporating UltraFlex technology.

Featuring tried and trusted micro carbon fibre heating panels, the new Heated Bodywarmer has a luxurious, elasticated outer shell, for maximum comfort and superior heating efficiency. The unique UltraFlex material provides generous elastic 4-way stretch, moulding the garment to the wearer’s body contours for a snug fit, without restricting movement.

Keis developed UltraFlex specifically for motorcycle mid-layers, so that riders can enjoy riding safely in colder environments;

  1. For maximum efficiency, heated clothing needs to be pressed gently against the body. Too tight and it can cause sores, too loose and it is less effective.
  2. Motorcycle mid-layers need to be flexible, so they don’t restrict movement on the bike or create tight spots, affecting blood flow.
  3. The fabric should not be bulky, so it takes up minimal space under riding jackets.

The unique fabric technology is created from a combination of 85% Chinlon and 15% Spandex. Commonly used in activewear, Chinlon is a synthetic, lightweight material known for its strength and durability. Combining a smooth, soft texture and an ability to wick away moisture, it is an ideal choice for clothing that needs to be breathable and comfortable. Adding Spandex creates exceptional elasticity, so the garments fit snugly, but without pressure.

With heating panels in the chest, back, and collar, the Keis UltraFlex Heated Bodywarmer produces 41W (3.4A) of heating power – almost three times more than previous models.

It is designed to be powered direct from a motorcycle battery and a wiring loom is included.

Available in all sizes from 2XS up to 3XL, the Keis B601RP UltraFlex Heated Bodywarmer retails for £180 (including VAT) and is currently supplied with a free Keis Power Controller, worth £38.

Keis offers a lifetime warranty on the heating element within all its heated garments and a two-year warranty on all clothing products. For more information, please visit keisapparel.com

Heated Clothing – Not just for Winter

Invest in heated kit to stay comfortable right through the year.

Keis – the UK’s leading heated motorcycle clothing brand – are reminding riders that heated garments can be a practical addition to the kit cupboard throughout the riding season in the UK, and not just in winter.

Wayne Harrison, Keis’ Head of Marketing, explains: “Many riders think of heated clothing purely for winter, but increasingly unpredictable weather – and other factors that may not be so obvious – means the ability to turn on the heat any time in the riding calendar is a real bonus.”

Even in Spring and Autumn, the average temperature range in the UK is relatively cool, and can catch riders out if they’re not prepared. In April – the start of the riding season for many British bikers – mean temperatures only reach a daily high of 12 degrees Celsius (54 Fahrenheit) and can go as low as just 4°C (39°F).

Wayne adds: “Even at that top mean figure of 12°C you can start to feel the cold after only a few minutes on the bike. And if your riding takes in early starts or goes past sunset, the temperature can quickly plummet, leaving you caught out in the cold.”

Wind chill is also a major factor that is often overlooked; riding at just 50 mph in an ambient air temperature of 4°C the windchill takes it to -4, and at 70mph that will drop to a seriously uncomfortable -5°. Hitting the mountain passes – a popular choice of route when touring – can also have a dramatic effect. For every 100-metre rise in altitude, the temperature decreases by about 1 degree Celsius.

As well as being uncomfortable, prolonged exposure to low temperatures like these can quickly affect the body’s core temperature, and a drop of just 1-2 degrees Celsius can affect concentration, coordination and cause drowsiness – all potentially disastrous when in charge of a motorcycle.

Wearing heated clothing enables riders to warm up at the flick of a switch and Keis design theirs specifically for motorcyclists, so it can be used as regular riding kit.

For example, Keis Heated Vests are made from lightweight stretch fabric, so they can be worn as mid-layer, while Keis gloves are made to the CE standard for motorcycle gloves, featuring protection from impacts and abrasion, without the bulk associated with traditional winter gloves.

Most feature a dual power design, meaning they can draw power either directly from a motorcycle’s 12V battery or Keis’ portable battery packs, for use off the bike too.

OptiMate Cable Converter for Heated Clothing

OptiMate’s O-67 Cable Kit converts an SAE battery charger lead to a DC jack for heated clothing.

Power heated clothing direct from your motorcycle using a regular battery charger lead with the OptiMate O-67 SAE – DC Cable Kit.

The handy kit comes with an O-67M SAE to 2.5mm Jack/Plug (male) and an O-67F SAE to 2.5mm Socket (female) lead, which are compatible with most heated garments. Both plug straight into any industry standard SAE 2-pin connector for an instant and secure connection straight to the battery – no need to run multiple cables from the terminals – and are a generous 30cm long to allow for short wires from heated clothing.

When parked up, simply disconnect the cable and plug the lead from the bike into an OptiMate charger to keep the battery in good health – something that is particularly important during colder weather.

Also included in the kit is an O-27 SAE to SAE Polarity Adapter, which enables connection to a range of other accessories.

All three adapters have a cable rating of 16AWG (1.32mm2) SPT-2W; feature weatherproof in-line seals on each SAE connector; and are tested to -40°C/-40°F, for complete confidence in a cold and damp winter environment.

The kit retails at just £29.90 and is covered by a 3-year warranty for complete peace of mind.

Hotpants from Keis

Ditch bulky underlayers and keep legs cosy, even on the chilliest rides, with the new T103RP Heated Trousers from Keis.

They’re ideal for riders of naked bikes and cruisers, which offer little protection for the legs, and for pillions who don’t move around as much as the rider, often sitting high up and exposed to wind chill.

Designed to be worn under riding trousers, the Keis heated trousers are made from a lightweight and breathable soft shell fabric – with an elasticated waist – so they fit comfortably without restricting movement.

When the temperature drops strategically positioned heated panels with Micro Alloy Element Technology provide instant warmth – no more feeling like legs won’t work when stopping at junctions or for fuel etc.

There’s a connection flap built-in for adding a Standard or Bluetooth Keis Power Controller – optional extras, enabling the user to change the heat setting, and to switch on and off.

Power for the T103RP can come directly from the bike’s 12V battery – via the power lead supplied – or they can be connected to a Keis heated jacket, bodywarmer or vest, for all-over warmth. The current Draw is a modest 3.25A and typical power is a substantial 39W.

Keis T103RP Heated Trousers retail at £165- including VAT, come in sizes XS-3XL (UK 32”-44” waist) and come with all required wiring and easy-to-follow instructions.

They’re made from the highest quality materials and can be hand washed. Like all Keis garments, the heating elements are covered by a Lifetime Warranty for complete peace of mind.

Designed to be worn under a motorcycle jacket as a mid-layer, or as an outer garment for leisure pursuits, the luxurious high tech thermal puffer is filled with a generous layer of lightweight 3M Thinsulate™ featherless insulation, which traps body heat and allows moisture to escape.

Should the wearer start to feel the chill, just a flick of a switch and the latest Micro Carbon Fibre Technology provides instant warmth across the chest and back, to keep the body’s core toasty warm.

Three levels of warmth are available – set via the fully integrated power controller on the left side chest panel – with lighting to indicate the selected power setting: Low (green), Medium (amber), and High (red).

Keis Sock-it to Cold Feet

New for winter 2021/2022, Keis S302 Heated Socks keep toes toasty warm and can be worn on the bike or off it, the ultimate in winter luxury!

Feet are among the first bits of the body to feel the cold, because blood flow to the extremities is restricted when temperatures drop. Add in the wind chill factor on a moving motorcycle and you’ll need more than a thick pair of wooly socks to remedy the situation.

Made from a thin, lightweight and breathable soft-shell material, Keis Heated Socks are designed to be worn over a pair of normal socks, inside your regular riding footwear.

Each pair features Micro Alloy Element Technology, for instant warmth when it’s needed – relief on even the most miserable winter rides. Current draw is a modest 0.6Amps, which won’t tax the charging system on modern motorcycles.

They can be powered directly from the 12-Volt motorcycle battery, with the power lead supplied. Alternatively Y-leads – also in the box – enable the user to run power from a Keis Heated Jacket or Vest down each leg to the  Heated Socks.

An optional Light Duty Power Controller (not supplied) can be connected to the power lead for the S302 Heated Socks, enabling the user to change the heat setting from high to medium or low, and to switch on and off.

Keis S302 Heated Socks are available in UK shoe sizes 4-10+ (EU 37-44+) and are priced at £85 per pair including vat.

They are fully machine washable for season-long freshness and the heating elements enjoy a Lifetime Warranty, for complete peace of mind.

New Heated Gloves you can wear under Jacket Sleeve

Keis G701 Bonded-Textile heated gloves are now available in a more streamlined short-cuff version, designed to sit easily underneath motorcycle jacket cuffs.

Although cut to be more compact, Keis all-new G701S ‘Shorty’ gloves definitely don’t fall short on features, sharing the same high quality construction, weather protection and heat generation technology as the long version.

The spec starts at the Ballistic Spandex outer shell, which is hydrophobic for maximum protection against the rain. Stopping rain at the outer layer keeps the wearer warmer too, preventing water-logged material from transmitting heat away from the hand.

Underneath that is a semi-bonded Hipora™ waterproof and breathable membrane, to stop any water that may have made it through, while allowing perspiration to escape.

The bonding process also reduces bulk, for maximum feel of the motorcycle controls and stops the lining from pulling out when the glove is removed.

A generous layer of 3M Thinsulate™ insulation helps retain warmth and when the temperature really drops, micro carbon fibre heating panels – with Far InfraRed Radiation heat-generating technology – provide reliable, controllable warmth.

More effective than heated grips, the heat is where it’s needed most – the exposed area on the top of the hands and around the fingers. The heating elements are so reliable they have a lifetime warranty.

The integral controller is positioned on the back of the hand for easy operation and enables the wearer to turn the power on and off and change temperature on the move. It features an inbuilt voltage regulator to prevent overheating.

Power can come from an on-board 12V socket – found on most modern machines – or directly from the bike’s battery using the supplied connector lead. The G701S can also be powered directly from a Keis heated jacket or vest, using additional power leads.

Manufactured to CE standard EN 13594 for protective motorcycle gloves, they feature flexible soft armour across the knuckles and scaphoid sliders on each palm and are covered by a 2-year warranty.  .

Keis G701S Shorty Gloves are available in nine sizes, from 3XS-3XL, and retail at £190- including VAT.

Thumbs-up for KEiS 3-Finger Heated Gloves

The ultimate in winter luxury, KEiS G301 Three-Finger Heated Motorcycle Gloves are perfect for riders who really feel the winter chill in their fingers and hands.

Designed for maximum warmth, the G301’s three-finger design reduces airflow over the surface of the fingers, to keep the heat in and cold out. Inside, each finger has an individual ‘pocket’, for added comfort and warmth and a luxurious feel.

Like all KEiS heated gloves, they feature the latest technology in heat generation: Micro Carbon Fibre panels across the back of the hands and over the top of the fingers – the areas most susceptible to wind chill – for instant, fully-controllable warmth when it’s needed.

They can be powered from the bike’s 12V battery (using cables supplied) or using an optional  battery. KEiS offer a choice between a Battery Pack that can power both gloves or specially designed Glove Batteries, which fit into the cuff pocket on each glove. Current Draw is just 1.6A (for a pair of gloves) so it will not put undue strain on the motorcycle charging system or drain a battery pack too quickly.

On the back of each glove is an independent integral heat controller, positioned on the top of the wrist for easy operation when riding.

A thicker layer of 3M Thinsulate™ offers improved warmth distribution throughout the glove, without compromising dexterity and feel of the controls, while a hydrophobic outer shell and Hipora™ waterproof and breathable membrane offer 100% waterproofing, and help reduce windchill further still. The G301 are also  fully certified to the CE standard for motorcycle gloves (EU PPE Regulation 13594:2015).

On the left index finger there is a visor wipe – something often not included on winter gloves – that makes a significant difference on wet days.

KEiS G301 Three-Finger Heated Gloves are available in a huge range of sizes – 3XS-3XL – and are priced at £200 including VAT. The heating elements are covered by a lifetime warranty

Each pair comes with a Glove Y-Lead, Motorcycle Connection Lead and full operating Instructions, and feature the ‘Male Power Plug’ to connect to your chosen power source.

Autumn and Winter weather is becoming increasingly erratic and difficult to forecast. New Keis gloves are hot stuff

The most advanced heated motorcycle gloves Keis has ever made, the all-new G701 feature hydrophobic fabric, so they won’t get waterlogged on rainy days, with touch screen capacitive pads on index finger and thumb too.

Beneath the surface is a semi-bonded Hipora™ waterproof and breathable membrane, which keeps water out and allows perspiration to escape. In addition, the distinctive Ballistic Spandex outer shell is hydrophobic, resisting water penetration even when fully submerged for over 2 minutes during testing. This further assists in keeping the wearer warmer, preventing the water-logged outer material from drawing heat away from the hand.

Manufactured to CE standard EN 13594 for protective motorcycle gloves, there is flexible soft armour across the knuckles and scaphoid sliders on each palm.

Inside there’s a generous layer of 3M Thinsulate™ insulation, which retains warmth without adding bulk. The gloves are designed to fit either over or under a jacket cuff – whatever the wearer’s preference – to help seal out the elements.

When the temperature really drops, micro carbon fibre heating panels – with Far InfraRed Radiation heat-generating technology – provide reliable, controllable warmth, whilst still allowing plenty of dexterity and feel for delicate handling of the controls.

More effective than heated grips, the heat is where you need it most – the exposed area on the top of the hands and around the fingers. This technology provides radiating warmth, in the same way the sun’s rays warm the body on a cold winter’s day. The heating elements are so reliable they have a lifetime warranty.

The easy-to-use, integral controller – positioned on the back of the wrist for easy operation when riding – enables the wearer to turn the power on and off and change temperature on the move. The controller also features an inbuilt voltage regulator to prevent overheating.

Like all Keis garments the G701 gloves come with everything needed to connect to a 12v vehicle battery, as well as the option to connect to a portable 2600mAh Glove Battery pack, which fits in a pocket in the glove cuff.

Keis G701 Heated Motorcycle Gloves are available in nine sizes, from XXXS-XXXL, and retail at £199.99 including VAT. They are covered by a 2-year warranty.  Call 01256 704909 or visit keisapparel.com to find out more.

Keis update their heated body warmer for ladies

Keis have updated their popular B501W Premium Heated Ladies Bodywarmer, introducing extra options to cover sizes 6-20 in response to customer feedback.

Designed in the UK specifically for female motorcyclists, the B501W uses the latest Micro Carbon Fibre heat technology to deliver consistent warmth, without the weight and bulk often associated with heated garments.

Micro Carbon Fibre panels at the front and back deliver infrared heat to the body’s core, while additional panels in the collar provide welcome relief to the neck, which is often left exposed in the gap between helmet and riding jacket. The panels are so reliable that Keis offers a lifetime warranty on them.

Tailored for a snug and flattering fit, stretch panels run the full length of each side, allowing freedom of movement when riding. The breathable and lightweight softshell fabric, combined with the thin Micro Carbon Fibre heat panels, allows the B501W to fit comfortably under riding jackets.

Heating levels can be fine-tuned using the optional Keis Heavy Duty Controller (£35-), which has three settings, from low to full power, and plugs into a ziped pocket at the base of the vest.

Designed for Dual-Power supply, the B501W comes with everything needed to run directly from a motorcycle or scooter’s 12v battery (current draw is only 1.2A so it won’t overload the charging system).

The B501W can also be powered by Keis Li-Ion rechargeable portable battery packs (sold as an optional extra), giving the flexibility to wear it for a variety of outdoor activities, from riding a horse to walking the dog.

Built-in connection plugs allow for the integration of Keis heated gloves, trousers and insoles, for all-over warmth. Integrated pockets for cables and controller keep everything neat and tidy.

The Keis B510W comes in sizes XXS-XXXL (UK 6-20) and retails at £155 including VAT. Optional portable Li-Ion rechargeable battery packs start from £49.

Two New Keis Heated Motorcycle Gloves

Keis has added two new heated gloves to its winter 2019/20 line-up; both with the option to fit batteries in the cuffs, both fully CE-certified, and both with built-in Scaphoid Protection – a first for heated gloves.

Designed to combine winter-glove warmth with summer-glove feel, the G502 Premium Heated Sport Glove features Micro Carbon Fibre heating panels across the back of the hands and over the top of the fingers, with a thick layer of 100gsm 3M Thinsulate™ for additional insulation against the cold, allowing more dexterity than heavyweight, unheated gloves.

Wind and rain are kept at bay with a Hipora™ waterproof membrane and a visor wipe on the left index finger helps the rider keep a clear view of the road ahead.

Carbon Fibre hard armour across the knuckles and a carbon Fibre Scaphoid guard are included for protection during a fall and the G502 are certified to the European standard for motorcycle gloves, EN 13594:2015.

The gloves are supplied with everything necessary to connect them to the motorcycle battery, for a permanent power supply. However, there are waterproof pockets in each cuff, designed to carry the optional Keis Glove Batteries. Compact and powerful, each 2600 mAh battery can power the gloves for up to 8 hours, depending on the setting selected using the control button on the back of each glove, (strategically positioned for easy operation while riding).

Keis G601 Premium Heated Touring Gloves share a similar specification the the new G502, but with leather covering the hard knuckle armour.

Keis G601 and G502 Premium Heated Armoured Gloves both retail at £200 per pair (inc VAT). The optional glove battery pack costs £105 per pair, including mains charger.

They can be paired with Keis’ range of heated vests, jackets and trousers for complete comfort during those cold winter rides.

Keep Hands Cosy With KEIS

Heated clothing specialist Keis has added a new outer glove to their winter 2018/19 collection, giving riders reliable, controllable warmth, with the reassurance of CE-approval.

Combining winter-glove warmth and summer-glove feel, Keis G501 Premium Heated Armoured Gloves are made to the tough CE standard for protective motorcycle gloves [EN 13594:2015].

Featuring the latest Far Infra Red Radiation heat-generating technology, for reliable, controllable warmth, they are more effective than heated grips, providing heat where you need it most – the exposed area on the top of the hands and around the fingers. This new technology delivers radiating warmth, in the same way the sun’s rays warm the body on a cold winter’s day.

An easy-to-use, integral controller on the back of the hand enables the wearer to turn the power on and off and change temperature on the move – choosing low, medium or high settings.

Designed for Dual Power, the the gloves come with everything needed to connect to a 12v vehicle battery and the option to connect to a Keis Portable Battery Pack for mobile power if preferred. These are available in two sizes: 2600mAh or 5200mAh.

New Keis Ladies Heated Bodywarmer

Tailor-made for women motorcyclists and featuring the latest Micro Carbon Fibre heat technology, the new Keis B501W Premium Heated Ladies Bodywarmer delivers warmth when you need it most without the weight and bulk often associated with heated garments.

New for the 2018/19 season, the B501W uses the latest Micro Carbon-fibre heat generation technology for an even spread of controllable, reliable warmth.

Heating panels feature at the front and back so warmth is delivered to the body’s core. The collar is also heated to give welcome relief to the neck – often left more exposed to cold in the gap between helmet and riding jacket.

The breathable and lightweight softshell fabric construction – combined with the thin Micro Carbon Fibre heat panels – means the B501W can be worn comfortably, even under close-fitting riding jackets.

It’s also tailored for a snug and flattering fit and has stretch panels running the full length of each side for complete freedom of movement on and off the bike.

Designed for Dual-Power supply, the B501W comes with everything needed to run direct from the motorcycle’s 12v battery (current draw is only 1.5A so it won’t overload the charging system).

Alternatively, it can be powered by either the Keis 2600mAh or the 5200mAh Li-Ion rechargeable portable battery pack (sold as an optional extra) for use anywhere, anytime.

Built-in connection plugs allow for the integration of Keis heated gloves, trousers and insoles, for all-over warmth, and there are integrated pockets for cables and controller to keep everything neat and tidy.

The Keis B510W comes in sizes 6-16 and retails at £150- including VAT. The optional portable Li-Ion rechargeable battery packs sell from £49-.

Keep Out Cold With New Keis Jacket

Lightweight, breathable and using the latest in heating technology, the new Premium J501 Heated Jacket from Keis brings comfort and controllable warmth to winter rides.

Designed specifically for motorcyclists, the J501 features a lighter and thinner construction than any of its predecessors, so it sits comfortably, even under close-fitting riding kit.

Heating is provided by Micro Carbon Fibre panels, which deliver an even spread of heat around the chest, kidneys, arms and collar, helping the wearer to stay comfortable and focused on the road ahead. Carbon panels are not only thinner and more flexible than traditional wired elements, they are also more reliable, so they are covered by a lifetime warranty, for complete peace of mind.

The jacket itself is made from lightweight and breathable soft shell fabric, and has elasticated panels, giving a snug fit that allows the rider to move around unhindered.

There are two external pockets – ideal for phone or wallet – and dedicated zipped pockets for the included cables and heat controller, to keep things organised and easy to find. Keis have also lengthened the elasticated cuffs, so they fit better under riding jackets and gloves.

Designed to be run direct from the motorcycle’s 12v battery, current draw is just 7A.

Produced in black, with stylish red side panels, the Keis J501 comes in chest sizes 36”-50” and retails for £199.99 including VAT. As an introductory offer, a Heavy Duty Heat Controller – normally £34.99 – is included free of charge. New Heated Vest From Keis

The new Premium V501 Vest from Keis features the latest heat generation technology and has been restyled, for lighter and thinner construction, with improved pockets and distinctive new look.

Heated vests provide a layer of warmth to core chest and kidney areas, helping riders to stay comfortable and safe in cold conditions.

Micro Carbon Fibre panels deliver an even spread of heat and are so reliable that Keis offers a lifetime warranty on them. Current draw is a modest 1.5A and typical power output is 18W.

Made from breathable lightweight soft shell fabric, the V501 has elasticated side panels, giving a snug fit for men and women. There are two external pockets – ideal for phone or wallet – and dedicated zipped pockets for cables and controller, to keep things tidy and easy to find.

Designed for Dual-Power supply, the V501 is supplied with a wiring harness so it can be run direct from the motorcycle battery. Alternatively the vest can be powered by a Keis lithium battery pack (sold as an optional extra) for use anywhere anytime.

Available in Black, with stylish red side panels, the Keis V510 is produced in chest sizes 36”-52” (XS-5XL) and sells for £149.99 including VAT. As an introductory offer, it comes with a free Heat Controller worth £34.99.

New Keis 2600mah Battery Pack

Smaller, lighter and longer lasting than the previous model, it measures just 70 x 70 x 20 mm, and weighs only 200 grams – fitting neatly into the specially provided pockets on Keis heated garments.

Alongside the weight and size saving, power output is increased from 2000 to 2600mAh, so it’s 30% longer-lasting, capable of 2.6 hours power at 1 amp draw.

By eliminating the need to draw power from the motorcycle battery, the 2600mAh battery pack allows a much greater freedom of movement both on and off the machine. That means heated clothing can be used for a variety of other activities, including winter sports, hiking, horse riding and even sky-diving.

The new pack can be used with all Keis Dual-Power products and has a built-in LED capacity monitor, so users can see the charge level at a glance.

KEiS heated garments use the latest Encapsulated Element Technology to provide reliable, even heating throughout chilly winter rides. Lightweight, breathable and more flexible than garments using wired elements, they’re designed to be comfortable and unobtrusive – both on and off the bike – and the advanced heating elements are designed to offer much more even temperature than traditional wired systems, helping to regulate body temperature and keeping the wearer focused on the road.

The KEiS 12V Li-ion Battery Pack retails at £49.99 on its own, or £67.99 with a standard three-pin 240V charger for use with UK plugs.

As an added bonus, it can also be used to charge and power USB devices.
