Anti-Vibration EPS
Comfort is key, so the X.WST3 features the NEXX Anti-Vibration EPS system. An ingenious solution to a common problem, a flexible rubber layer sandwiched between the inner and outer EPS absorbs the intrusive vibrations and buzzing caused by air turbulence at higher speeds.

In addition, both the 3X Carbon and X-MATRIX2 shells feature aerodynamic shaping, plus a drag-reducing rear spoiler, to keep the head stable and reduce pressure on the neck.

NEXX X.WST3 Carbon Zero Pro

Recoil Visor System
Unwanted wind noise and annoying trickles of water down the inside of the visor are prevented by the unique Recoil Visor System. Spring-loaded side plates automatically pull the visor back against the dual-lip window beading when it’s closed, forming an airtight and rainproof seal.

The X.WST3 also comes ready to accept a Pinlock Anti-Fog system, which all models are supplied with as standard: a Pinlock 120 XLT Max Vision with the X-PRO Carbon, and a Pinlock 70 for both X-MATRIX2 models.

NEXX X.WST3 Plain White

X.MART Dry Interior
Adjustable ventilation ports front and back, and a fresh air chamber between the EPS liner and the padding, provide a cooling flow of air when the temperature rises.

The interior is made from soft-touch X.MART Dry fabric, which keeps the wearer cool and dry. Synthetic leather and intricate stitch detailing give it a luxurious feel and look good too.

NEXX X.WST3 Plain White

NEXX’s patent-pending Fast Release System enables first responders to remove the cheek pads without disturbing the head and neck. The system also makes for super-easy cleaning of the lining; just lift the rubber trim arms, slide back the red buttons, and the cheek pads release.

X-COM3 Connectivity
For those who like to stay connected, the X.WST3 comes ready to accept X-COM3 Bluetooth 5.0 comms.

Both the X-COM3 standard and X-COM3 Pro – with 2.0 Mesh Technology, and sound by Harman Kardon – will fit straight in. There’s also a removable side mount, for easy attachment of an action-camera.

X.WST3 X-MATRIX2 models retail at £329.99 in Plain mono colour options and £349.99 in four eye-catching Fluence graphic styles. The 3X Carbon Zero Pro comes in a solid carbon finish and sells for £429.99.

New warranty: 7 years from date of purchase.
In 2024, ROOF is one of the only manufacturer to master its entire manufacturing and distribution chain. The French Riviera manufacturer, with its high-quality products and its historically low after-sales return rate, has decided to extend the warranty period of its E22.06 helmets from 4 to 7 years. The process remains the same:  simply registering the reference of the helmet after creating an account on the roof.fr website.

A service for the consumer, a strong argument for the seller
Like all usual warranties, the ROOF warranty covers the whole helmet, the parts and liners, as well as the screws, for all forms of manufacturing defects and excludes only all matters related to the normal wear and tear, or issues related to shocks or improper handling of the product.

By extending the warranty to 7 years, the French manufacturer of high-end helmets and fiber specialist, is one of the first motorcycle equipment manufacturer to offer such a service, thanks to its manufacturing process control and to the quality of its jet, modular and full-face helmets.

Hands free and hassle free, the new LS2 4X intercom uses voice-control and Bluetooth® to make staying in touch on the road a breeze.

Co-developed with Cardo, and tailored specially for LS2 Helmets, it features sound by JBL, live intercom for up to four riders, Natural Voice Operation and much more.

A must-have for group rides and touring, the 4X allows live chat with up to four fellow riders at a range of up to 1.2km. Auto-Reconnecting Bluetooth® means if someone separates from the group, they will automatically rejoin when they’re back in range – no stopping at the side of the road and fiddling with buttons to reconnect.

Quick and easy to pair, the 4X will connect with a smartphone and GPS at the same time, so the user can make and receive calls, stream music and hear turn-by-turn directions simultaneously.

Truly hands-free, all this is done without ever having to press a button. Switching and selecting features, and controlling paired devices, can all be carried out with ‘Always On’ Natural Voice Operation; just say “hey Cardo”, tell the 4X what you want, and it will do the rest.

Powerful 40mm high-definition speakers engineered by JBL mean that favourite track, GPS instructions – and those from fellow riders – are all crystal clear. They feature a specially tuned music processor and three distinctive audio profiles.

For complete peace of mind, the 4X is – as you’d expect – fully weatherproof. The battery allows an impressive talk time of 13 hours, and it only takes 2 hours for a full recharge. Plus, if you need a quick top-up while on the road, just 20 minutes of charging provides 2 hours of talk time.

Software updates are also easy. They can either be done Over-the-Air in the Cardo Connect smartphone app, or via computer with the supplied USB type C cable.

MTR launches new motorcycle helmet line up exclusively available at Louis Moto

Three new motorcycle helmet models from MTR – including vintage motocross, flip-front and full-face versions – are now available exclusively at Louis Moto, Europe’s leading motorcycle clothing and accessories retailer.

For riders looking for a motorcycle helmet complete with iconic retro-styling and suitable for some off-road adventures, the new MTR Vintage MX EVO is the perfect choice. Priced at £150.00* and with looks harking back to the 1980’s motocross scene, the Vintage MX EVO has style and practicality in abundance.

Opening the box, the first impressions of the Ruroc Atlas 4.0 are admittedly pretty impressive. It is a striking look, a unique and bold design. It is not subtle by any means and I think that is the selling point for this brand. I have had no experience with Ruroc until being sent this helmet, aside from a friend who I ride with, wears them and highly rates them. So when I got the opportunity to test one, I thought why not?
