Horizon V2: The Ducati Helmet for Touring

Horizon V2: the Ducati helmet for touring with an integrable intercom system.

Horizon V2 is the touring helmet par excellence of the Ducati range, specifically developed by the Bologna-based manufacturer, combining comfort and practicality, style and safety, with the aim of making every trip an unforgettable experience.

Included in the 2022 Apparel collection, Ducati Horizon V2 has graphics designed by Drudi Performance exclusively for Ducati and is a modular helmet , which means that it offers the motorcyclist the possibility of transforming it from a full-face helmet to a jet helmet by lifting the chin guard. The outer shell is made of Ultra Carbon material combined with aramid and glass fibres, which give the helmet strength and lightness. The Carbon Fitting internal padding with thermoregulating active carbon filaments ensures an excellent level of comfort, while safety is guaranteed by the ability of the expanded polystyrene of the inner shell to absorb and disperse kinetic energy in the event of an impact.

The attention paid by Ducati to safety is combined with a modern and gritty look with an iconic and at the same time essential new graphic design, which enhances the colours and the Ducati logo with geometric lines and sophisticated colour combinations.
The Eyewear Adaptive system allows you to wear the Ultrawide goggles and visor which, with its large surface, offers excellent visibility to the rider. The included sun visor grants excellent protection from UV rays – up to 400 nm – essential for tackling longer journeys, and can be easily disassembled for maintenance and cleaning.

The Horizon V2 helmet is designed and approved for integration with the N-Com B 902X Intercom system to ensure maximum connectivity while experiencing the pleasure of adventure. This system allows you to manage the mobile phone and its answering, hanging up and last-number redialling functions via Bluetooth, with voice commands and automatic switching between intercom and phone. The intercom system is equipped with a Smart Conference function for group communications and for sharing music with both the passenger and another motorcycle when travelling in company.

In the Ducati Apparel collection there is an entire line dedicated to Touring made up of items that represent the ideal travel companions to make every ride memorable. Among these, the Tour C4 and Atacama C2 jacket and trouser outfits stand out: these are two total looks that combine features and design in a perfect mix of performance, style and safety. Both outfits are designed by Aldo Drudi and produced by Ducati following the criteria of lightness, strength and usability.

The Horizon V2 helmet and all the items that make up the Ducati Apparel collection are available at the dealer network of the Borgo Panigale company and on Shop.Ducati.com.

EICMA 2017 visitors award the Ducati Panigale V4 – Most Beautiful Bike of Show

The Ducati Panigale V4 has won the title of “Most Beautiful Bike of Show” at EICMA 2017. Despite tough competition from a host of new bikes, this thirteenth edition of the “Vote and win the most beautiful bike of the show” competition, organized by Italian magazine Motociclismo, was won by Ducati for the ninth time.

More than 16,000 enthusiasts selected the Panigale V4 as their number one choice, making it the most popular bike among both EICMA visitors and “Motociclismo” website users. The new Ducati superbike won by a considerable margin, with 61.17% of total votes.

On the last day of the show, on Sunday 12 November, Julien Clement, Senior Designer of the Ducati Design Center and Panigale V4 project Designer, received the award on behalf of Ducati, as final highlight of an intense week of exhibition and events which have seen over 600,000 visitors at EICMA, an increase compared to 2016 and a confirmation of the positive trend coming from the motorcycle sector.

Exchange your full face helmet and receive £100 towards a new Ducati Arai helmet

Ducati UK has launched a new helmet replacement campaign from now until the end of December 2017.
A helmet is one of the most important pieces of safety equipment we wear, however, as time goes on helmets become loose and the effectiveness of the protection can be reduced.
Customers can bring an old full face helmet to selected Ducati dealers and trade it in (it does not need to be a Ducati branded helmet) for a new Ducati helmet by Arai and receive a £100 contribution towards the new one.

April 2015 record sales month in the history of Ducati Motor Holding

A real power start for Ducati Motor Holding in 2015, confirming the positive trend of the last 5 years with constant growth in sales and production.

A new absolute sales record was achieved in April with the delivery of 7,309 bikes, up by 29% compared to April 2014. The previous sales record held by Ducati was in May 2012, with the delivery of 6,500 bikes.
Overall, 17,881 bikes were sold in the first four months of 2015, showing a 10% increase compared to last year, and setting another record for Ducati.

The launch of new products that enhance the 2015 Ducati model range, including Scrambler, 1299 Panigale and new Multistrada 1200, contributed to achieve such positive results. With their innovative styles, technologies and performance they have truly won over the Ducatisti, together with new customers all over the world.

In April 2015 Ducati sales registered a steady growth in Europe, which compared to April 2014 shows an increase by 52% in Germany, by 54% in Spain, by 50% in the UK, by 13% in France, and an impressive 69% growth in the Italian market, where the Ducati Scrambler has become the top selling bike.

Orders from the USA confirmed the positive European trend, consolidating the USA as Ducati’s first market. For logistical reasons, the new range of 2015 will be reaching the other side of the Atlantic in the next few days, giving Ducati a good reason to remain optimistic of an even more substantial growth.
