Once again the transalpine brand had a considerable presence at both fairs this year, where it showcased its new products.

GIVI turned 45 years old this year and wanted to celebrate it in style at two of the most renowned events in the world of two wheels: the Motorcycle Live Show and EICMA. It pulled this off through an incredible stand, in which it has exhibited all its products, among which there are some remarkable new items that will be available next year. And on the occasion of this important anniversary, it launched a special edition of its top-of-the-range top case, the Maxia 5, with white covers, symbolising the brand’s bright future, which EICMA visitors were able to see for the first time.

GIVI was founded in 1978 by motorcycle racer Giuseppe Visenzi. Visenzi’s great passion and determination for the motorbike industry were reflected in the careful and meticulous design and manufacturing of the brand’s accessories from the very beginning. This resulted in the transalpine firm rapidly expanding nationally and internationally, to become one of the most influential and innovative producers on the current scene, with a catalogue of high quality products that adapt to the needs of all motorcyclists. It boasts of a list that continues to grow with different newbies this year, which were presented at some of the most important events in the world of two wheels: the Motorcycle Live Show and EICMA.

For a long time, the Italian brand has been participating each year in the Motorcycle Live Show, a fair held in Birmingham, which took place this November, from the 18th to the 26th. It was more than a week during which two-wheel enthusiasts, as well as professionals from the sector, specialised journalists and even internationally renowned riders, were able to see first-hand what’s new in the industry for 2024. As usual, GIVI had its own stand, decorated with 45th anniversary motifs, where some of the new products that were also taken to EICMA were exhibited, with the Maxia 5 being the chief protagonist.

Visitors were also able to enjoy an extensive display of the brand’s helmets, including some of the new graphics that will be available next year. This was a huge attraction, along with several fully equipped motorbikes on display, such as Honda’s CRF300 Rally and a Honda Transalp, as well as a specific space for the bike range.

GIVI at EICMA
The Italian brand chose this important trade fair in Milan to begin the celebration of its 45 years in the industry. It was a commemoration that revolved around its top of the range top case, the Maxia 5, as a symbol of the evolution of its cases through all its years of experience. To this end, they presented a new version with different coloured top cases and a special anniversary edition in white.

What’s more, its spectacular stand decorated with 45th anniversary graphics showcased its latest launches, complete with an eclectic selection of products designed to meet all the needs of motorcyclists, which are the result of years of experience and research. Among its new products are the softbags which form the X-Line range, the XL09, the T525 top bag for carrying pets on a motorbike, the Arena top case and all the new graphics for its models of helmets.

The transalpine firm also has a helmet specifically designed for these styles, the 60.1. It’s made with the latest technology, the best materials and has meets the new European homologation ECE 22R06 standards. Its interior is made of hypoallergenic, removable and washable fabric. What’s more, it has an adjustable visor, a “Double D” strap closure, which provides greater safety, and front and upper air intakes and in the chin guard, together with a rear extractor.

Electrify your route
Motorbike touring enthusiasts who have embraced electric mobility can count on GIVI to offer a wide range of products to meet their specific needs. Like its new top case, the Riviera E46, made of thermoformed plastic using a system of embossed moulds, which makes it more rigid, without renouncing the clean, rounded lines that favour aerodynamics. In addition, it has a high level of waterproofing that has been assessed in numerous tests.

For all touring users GIVI has a wide range of modular helmets, including one of this year’s new models: the X.21. It incorporates aventilation system consisting of 2 air intakes and a rear extractor, as well as a micrometric strap, lift-up chin guard, windshield, removable nose guard and removable and washable interior. In terms of safety, it has been certified with a double P/J homologation in accordance with the ECE 22R06 standard.

Speed makes no noise
GIVI has always paid attention to the needs of the most sporty motorcyclists in order to satisfy them through the constant search for aesthetics, high performance and innovation in their accessories. An example of this is their top of the range helmet, the 50.9, which is approved according to the ECE 22-06 standard, the most recent and the most demanding to date. Correct air circulation is guaranteed thanks to its three front air intakes and two rear extractors. What’s more, the interior is completely removable and washable and is made of hypoallergenic fabric.

To meet the needs of load capacity without having to add anything to the electric sports bike, GIVI has a large selection of reinforced soft bags to suit all tastes. Without a doubt, the one with sportiest style is the ST606, a backpack with a thermoformed lid and capacity of 22 litres. It’s specifically designed to be used on sports bikes, offering perfect stability even at high speeds. It doesn’t end there: it’s made with side zips covered with reflective materials to deflect air and prevent it from opening unexpectedly.

Café racer style and electric innovation
For motorbike enthusiasts with a unique and timeless style, GIVI accessories are also suitable for electric models. This is the case with the 10.7, a demi-jet helmet with a compact size that allows it to be stowed in the small spaces under the saddle. It also has has a lightness – it weighs less than one kilogram – which makes it stand out. Its standard features include a strap with micrometric closure, removable interior and pads and a ventilation system with rear extractor, something unusual in this type of helmet and a feature which sets it apart from the competition.

A practical and different option to increase the load capacity on a classic motorbike is a tank bag. In the GIVI catalogue you can find a model specifically designed for these motorbikes, the CRM103, which is fixed by 4 removable magnets that attach to the tank, together with 4 additional straps.

Get ready for the holiday of a lifetime with GIVI

The new 50.7 full face helmet is perfect for the getaways and long trips that are just around the corner.

GIVI, the Italian motorbike and motorcycling equipment company, which celebrates its 45th anniversary in 2023, presents its new 50.7 model helmet. With a thermoplastic shell and ECE 22.06 homologation, which guarantees maximum safety, this helmet also features an advanced ventilation system that ensures rider comfort. This makes it the ideal choice for two-wheeled enthusiasts who are planning routes and trips during the warmer months of the year.

PHOBIA

In 2002 GIVI, the transalpine brand, launched its first helmet with the aim of continuing to make everyday life easier for motorcyclists all over the world. Now, in the midst of celebrating its 45th anniversary, the firm has just presented its new full-face model, with both a sport character as well as one suited to touring: the 50.7. It’s a helmet conceived and designed for those who find their home on the roads and enjoy long routes and even journeys of hundreds (or thousands) of kilometres.

Rebel

The GIVI 50.7 has a thermoplastic shell, available in two sizes, a stainless steel micrometric fastener, and is certified according to the ECE 22.06 European standard, the most recent and demanding standard to date. This means the helmet has passed impact tests with 12 new points, as well as high and low speed tests and the oblique impact test, confirming it as one of the safest helmets on the market.

Rebel

Rider comfort is also guaranteed, thanks to the incorporation of an elaborate ventilation system, consisting of three air intakes (two at the top and one in the chin guard) and two rear extractors, which allow for correct air circulation and, therefore, temperature regulation. It also features a removable nose pad and a specific windshield, as well as a hypoallergenic, removable and washable interior. What’s more, it has an anti-scratch visor and is also prepared for Pinlock® (not included) to ensure perfect vision at all times and in all conditions.

On the outside, it’s sporty, but not as aggressive as the GIVI’s racing models, with a design featuring elegant and sophisticated lines. For now, it’s available in three different graphics (Solid Color – matt black or glossy white, Rebel – black, with details in grey and turquoise or red, and Phobia, black with geometric lines in fuchsia or red and in grey with the lines in black), which will appeal to not only the user with classic tastes, but to those also seeking a more daring design.

Solid

The GIVI 50.7 helmet is available in sizes ranging from XS to 2XL, for 132.90 £ (Solid Color) or 139.90 £ (Rebel and Phobia).

These, and many more GIVI items, provide a boost for motorcycle trips and make any journey on two wheels a more comfortable experience.

A GIVI graphic for each of the best-selling off-road bikes

The Italian firm adds three new versions to the 60.1 helmet, bringing the number of colour variants to 13 which will suit the tastes of all bikers.

GIVI’S first off-road helmet, the 60.1, was born less than a year ago. It was the result of countless hours of research, laboratory tests and various competition tests carried out by Simone Cristini, a World Enduro rider who worked with the transalpine firm on the helmet’s design. The multitude of graphics and variants available on this model mean it is sure to match with any of the best-selling enduro bikes currently on the market. Two new versions of its already well-known Invert graphics as well as the Gloom, a completely new design which features an innovative and rogue aesthetic, are new for 2023.

GIVI is a benchmark in the motorbike and motorcyclist accessories sector, partly due to its highly developed R&D department. Throughout the design process at its Brescia factory, GIVI believes it’s essential to listen to its users’ needs. For this reason, they have expanded their helmet catalogue to a total of 17 different models in recent years, with a multitude of graphics to adapt to the official colours of the main brands on the market, and to cater to the tastes of all two-wheeled enthusiasts. This is the case with the 60.1, of which there are three new versions in 2023.

This full-face helmet has more than 13 multicolour variations that are in line with current trends. They are divided into three graphics. The latest and most daring is the Gloom, a mix of black and red details imitating a skull, as well as a design with a splash effect. The selection doesn’t end there. The Invert, with straight and aggressive lines and a sportier style, also adds two new colours to its range this year: one in red, white and black, which is a perfect match for the GasGas EC 350, and another which boasts a more restrained design, which comes in different shades of black for the more discreet bikers. These new models, together with all its previous variants, allow the 60.1 to perfectly match the official colours of the best-selling off-road bikes.

The 60.1 has been thoroughly developed with the latest technology, the best materials and under the new European ECE 22R06 homologation. This means the tests it has passed include impact tests at different speeds – on screens, rotational, on inclined surfaces or by particles at high speed – and are more comprehensive and demanding. What’s more, all its accessories, such as the visors, also have this certification.

Its shell is made from technopolymer and features hypoallergenic fabric on the inside, designed with an attractive camouflage finish, which is detachable, removable and washable. It also includes an adjustable visor, a “Double D” strap closure for greater safety, and front, upper and chin guard air intakes, together with a rear extractor. It’s available in sizes XS to XXL at £145.90.

Click here to see Simone Cristini put the GIVI 60.1 to the test.

And click here if you want to know more about the 60.1 from a host of GIVI specialists.

Welcome to MyGARAGE

GIVI launches its new virtual meeting point between the Italian brand and two-wheel users with a wide range of advantages.

Often when we buy something for our motorbike, it can be difficult to understand the instruction manual to mount it, to know what accessories we can add to it or even to manage its warranty. In a bid to offer the best solution to any of these problems, GIVI, the renowned transalpine brand of motorbike and motorcyclist equipment, is betting on the latest technology, both in the design of its products and in dealing with its customers, to create its new platform, MyGARAGE. It’s a website designed for lovers of two wheels where we can find goodies of all kinds, like extensions of up to two years of warranty on GIVI items, video tutorials on the assembly of its accessories, instruction manuals for accessories, recommendations for the bike, wish lists and even a summary of all the GIVI materials we have. It’s an exclusive club that meets the requirements of even the most demanding bikers.

MyGARAGE is a new way to connect all GIVI customers. Imagine it as a kind of spokesperson for the brand. Through a direct exchange of information between the manufacturer and the user, this platform will be beneficial for both. Consumers will be able to offer feedback on the brand’s products and influence product updates or upcoming product launches, allowing the company to know and offer solutions to all the needs that motorcyclists may have. At the same time, those same motorcyclists will receive special treatment and exclusive opportunities.

The platform is simple to use. It can be accessed on the GIVI website, where we can register in MyGARAGE, filling in our details and disclosing the model of our motorbike. Once we have logged in, we will find a desktop where the vehicle we selected when we registered will appear. On this screen we can add the GIVI products we already have, extend their warranty for 2 years by filling in a short form and access their instruction manuals. What’s more, there is a section where we find some items recommended for our bike, or that might interest us according to the accessories we already have.

It also has a gallery classified by categories where we can find anything, from interviews with members of the LCR MotoGP Team, to videos showing the new products, tutorial videos or different experiences of other lovers of two wheels. It’s an interesting section for those who want to know a little more about the brand and everything they do.

The platform also allows us to create a wish list in which we can include all the brand’s products that we would like to have on our bike and see their price at that moment. Finally, we have a section where we can access all the catalogues of the Italian brand. And that’s not all. If you access the GIVI website once you have logged in to MyGARAGE, you can add references to both the wish list and the list of accessories you already have on your bike. A GIVI For Every Personality

GIVI’s latest full face helmets, the 50.8 and 50.9, feature a wide range of graphics and colours.

Safety, comfort and style are within reach for every motorcyclist thanks to GIVI and its new models. With ECE 22-06 approval, the 50.8 and 50.9 offer users all the protection they need on their journeys, whatever their style. Since its launch last year, the Italian brand’s graphics team hasn’t stopped working, and can therefore offer numerous options for those who prefer the classic style as well as those who are open to riding with striking and different designs.

GIVI, the transalpine firm specializing in motorbike and motorcyclist equipment, has been designing and producing top level, innovative, comfortable and highly safe helmets for more than 20 years. An example of its constant evolution in these two decades of work are its latest full-face models, the 50.8 and 50.9, two sport touring helmets, which feature a technopolymer shell in three sizes, micrometric closure and ECE 22-06 homologation, the most recent and demanding to date. One of their main features, and a strong point for users, is the good ventilation offered by both models, with three air intakes (two on the upper part and one on the chin) and two rear extractors. And with the incorporation of retractable sunglasses to avoid glare from the sun, safety and comfort are more than guaranteed.

What’s more, GIVI has unveiled different graphics and plain colours, so there’s an option for every personality, which accommodates all users in the market.

CLASSIC AND ELEGANT
The graphics which often work best are the simplest, like those which use a solid colour throughout the helmet – a versatile and restrained option that is still the main choice of many motorcyclists. For them, GIVI has the 50.9 Solid Color in black, available in sizes XS to XXL for £186.90, and the 50.8 Solid Color in white, available in the same sizes for £158.90.

A SPORTY TOUCH
Here is another classic, but in this case much more eye-catching. With geometric lines and powerful colours, the racing style graphics are still a favourite for a large part of the market. And the Italian brand has developed different designs and colour combinations for these two helmets precisely for that reason. For a start, the 50.8 is available in the versions RACER (black, grey and fluorescent yellow), in sizes XS to XXL; BRAVE (black, grey and red), in the same sizes; BRAVE LADY (black, grey and pink), from XS to L; and the newest model, the MACH1, which presents a combination of white, black, red and different shades of blue (available from size XS to XXL. All of them can be acquired for £167.90.

Then the GIVI 50.9 helmet is available in the ATOMIC and ATOMIC LADYversions. The former also combines the colours white, black, red and blue and is available in sizes XS to XXL, for £193.90. The women’s version plays with grey, silver, black and pink and is available in sizes XS to L.

DARING DESIGNS
The latest 50.9 graphic, one of the main new features for 2023, is especially designed for riders who enjoy catching the attention of those they pass on the street. It’s also a perfect fit for those who venture out of the traditional and more usual designs, preferring a new and groundbreaking colour combination. This new design comes under the name ENIGMA, which features daring prints, geometric lines and with the colours black, grey, fuchsia pink and light blue, results in an original, different and fun model. It’s available for £193.90, in sizes XS to XXL.

These, and many more GIVI items, provide a boost for motorcycle trips and make any journey on two wheels a more comfortable experience. For more information about this product or any other accessories for your motorcycle visit www.givi.co.uk or call 01327 706220.

GIVI: half a life of experience and innovation in its helmets

The great evolution of the transalpine company has led it to achieve the greatest comfort, style and safety in head protection on a motorbike.

GIVI, motorcycle and motorcyclist equipment brand, has been working for more than 20 years in the design and manufacture of top level helmets. Two decades in which, through innovation, active listening and constant effort, it has achieved that its products reach the highest levels of quality and safety, becoming one of the first manufacturers to launch models on the market that have passed the tough and demanding tests of the ECE 22-06 standard.

1920 marked the beginning of the technical evolution of motorcycling helmets with the first soft leather models derived from the world of aviation. Thirty years later, jet helmets appeared and in the 1970s the first full-face helmet was developed. It was around this time – in 1978 to be precise – that GIVI was founded by Giuseppe Visenzi as a manufacturer of motorbike accessories. But it was not until 2002 that the transalpine company began its journey in the world of helmets, with the 10.1 jet. Two decades have passed since then, a time in which it has continued to produce and improve its products to the point it has become a reference in a sector that has recently seen the approval of a new and demanding regulation: ECE 22.06.

With the 10.1, the Italian brand managed to catch up with its rivals. Despite marking GIVI’s beginning in the sector, the jet included a removable visor and adjustable air intake – features on a par with the competition’s models.

Their first modular, the X.08, came out in 2008 with the same features as most helmets in the industry, with two different sizes of thermoplastic shells depending on size and a synthetic polyester foam liner. What’s more, there was a micrometric quick release fastener to speed up putting the helmet on and taking it off.

In 2013 it launched its first full-face model, the X.01. Made of thermoplastic with an EPS interior and a synthetic polyester fabric lining bonded with polyurethane foam, it more than met the standards of the time. It also had a ZSP Micro 01 micrometric closure with a polyester strap, features and materials that, although they have improved over the years, are still present in GIVI helmets.

GIVI’s path in this sector wasn’t an easy one. They had to carve out a niche in a sector filled with brands and specialists who boasted years of experience. It wasn’t enough for them to have earned a leading position in the production of motorbike and scooter accessories. So they set up an in-house laboratory with state-of-the-art technology and specialised engineers and technicians. Here they carry out crash tests and recreate all possible riding situations, taking into account atmospheric conditions and simulating the tests that the helmet has to pass in order to achieve certification. All this is what has made the difference, allowing the brand to quickly catch up with its competitors.

All the helmets mentioned above, as well as the rest of the previous GIVI ranges, have been tested under the ECE 22-05 standard since its inception as a helmet manufacturer. Therefore, the enormous trajectory of its R&D department, together with its experience in carrying out the tests required by this standard, has led to the production of increasingly safer helmets. And with the incorporation of the ECE 22-06 homologation, their adaptation to it has been much quicker, simpler and more efficient.

Thanks to their long history of developing and testing these products, last year GIVI launched models with the new standard. Their first off-road helmet, the 60.1, together with the 50.9 and 50.8 full-face helmets, presented at EICMA 2021, were the first with ECE 22-06 homologation, demonstrating had successfully anticipated its obligatory nature. From that moment on, the new GIVI helmets are produced under this standard and work is already underway on the homologation of all its previous models that are still on the market.

With this, GIVI proves it’s at the forefront, not only in the motorbike accessories sector, but also in the motorbike equipment sector. This is the perfect end to 20 years of history as a helmet manufacturer, and the road ahead is full of innovation and quality.

These, and many more GIVI items, provide a boost for motorcycle trips and make any journey on two wheels a more comfortable experience. For more information about this product or any other accessories for your motorcycle visit www.givi.co.uk or call 01327 706220.

GIVI 60.1: An off-road helmet on the menu for 2022

The new integral helmet from the Italian brand arrives in the 2022 collection with ECE22R06 homologation, providing an interesting option to match any off-road motorcycle.

Like a classic Italian dish, the new GIVI helmet has been created through the combination of the best ingredients and careful preparation, ensuring that every detail is authentic in its essence. Countless hours of research and development, undertaking the most demanding tests, have given rise to the integral 60.1, the first GIVI off-road model to already comply with the new ECE 22R06 regulations. To create a product apt for cross, enduro and supermotard riders, the Italian company have not only worked on laboratory tests, but have also subjected the helmets to one of the best testing grounds in competition: Use by Simone Cristini, 2021 Enduro World Champion in the Junior category.

GIVI are one of the most renowned Italian motorcycle and biker accessories brands, and that is not the result of mere chance. In the working process used by the brand from Brescia, listening to the needs of those who use the products is of fundamental importance. This is why the company have decided to complete their Adventure line with an item that is in high demand, akin to adding an extra dish to an already mouthwatering menu: The 60.1, a new off-road helmet for those who like to venture away from the asphalt.

This helmet has been conscientiously developed with the latest technology and the best materials, anticipating the mandatory enforcement of the new ECE 22R06 European homologation that comes into effect on July 3rd, 2022. This means that the resistance tests passed by the 60.1, including impact tests at different speeds – on screens, in rotation, on inclined surfaces or by particles at high speed – are more complete and demanding. In addition, all accessories, such as visors, also have this approval.

The GIVI 60.1 off road integral thus offers a boost in safety. It is made with high quality components: Resistant materials such as the technopolymer used in the shell. Its interior, designed with an attractive camouflage finish, is made of hypoallergenic, removable, and washable fabric. In addition, it includes an adjustable visor, ‘Double D’ strap closure and front, upper and chin guard air intakes, along with a rear extractor.

The 60.1 is apt for the discerning palates of all types of dirt bike, enduro and supermotard enthusiasts. This full-face helmet has more than 10 multicoloured aesthetic variants, based on current trends and divided into two versions of its graphic theme: Fresh and Invert. This allows this model to be perfectly combined with the official colours of any off-road motorcycle brand. It is available in sizes ranging from XS to XXL at €139 MSRP (VAT Inc.).

These, and many more GIVI items, provide a boost for motorcycle trips and make any journey on two wheels a more comfortable experience.

GIVI’s sportiest helmet to date arrives as limited edition

The Italian company present the 50.6 Sport Deep, a unique helmet that adds to the top-of the-range products in its already extensive collection.

GIVI have taken a giant step forward with the launch of their new sporty full face helmet. Based on the 50.6 model that hit the market in 2020, the Sport Deep version is a limited edition product aimed at fans of sports bikes, sport tourers and naked bikes. Using an elegant ‘brushed metal’ effect in the 6 two-colour graphic versions available, it also features details such as a mirror screen visor and metallic micrometric closure system.

The Italian manufacturer, specialists in the design and manufacture of motorcycle accessories, began their journey in the world of helmet production in 2002. Since then, the collection coming out of the Brescia factory has improved and expanded, adapting not only to current aesthetics and trends, but also offering high quality products at an affordable price.

For 2021, GIVI have launched the bold and dynamic 50.6 Sport Deep model. A special edition of the existing 50.6 Stoccarda, its clear differentiating features are its daring colour combinations and excellent finishes

The helmet, made of technopolymer, comes in 2 shell sizes, in order to perfectly meet the needs of each rider and covering interior sizes ranging from XS to XXL. The total weight of the Sport Deep is 1,490g, light enough to travel hundreds of kilometres without the rider feeling heaviness in their neck and upper shoulders. In addition, its extraordinary aerodynamic design, free from ridges and protrusions, and the efficiency of the front air intakes (two upper and one on the chin guard) and two rear extractors, aid comfort even on naked and streetfighter type machines lacking in aerodynamic protection. Interior ventilation makes for a cool ride in summer, and heat preservation in winter.

The smoked / iridium visor, which comes with pinlock as standard, is another of the peculiarities of the GIVI 50.6 Sport Deep helmet that make it exceptional. It has, like the rest of the models in the 50.6 range, a retractable interior tinted visor; as well as a removable and washable inner fabric (in this case also incorporates the emergency cheek pad removal system), a specific windshield and removable nose deflector. The locking mechanism is metal micrometric, one of the safest and most comfortable forms on the market, and can be operated even with gloves on.

The GIVI 50.6 Sport Deep is available in 6 colour schemes, including the return of a design with the colours of the Italian flag, at a price of £149.90 -more than attractive for a helmet with its characteristics and performance.
