Ducati UK welcome the Vindis Group to the Ducati dealer network with two new stores in Peterborough and Cambridge.
Ducati UK are delighted to announce the arrival of two new additions to the Ducati dealer network and the Vindis Group’s line-up. Two brand new Ducati dealerships are due to open in 2016, with the first, Ducati Cambridge officially launched last week with Ducati Peterborough to follow soon after. Both will offer showrooms of the highest standards, cutting edge after sales and service facilities, and passionate and knowledgeable staff.
Ducati’s history of innovation, passion and premium quality are values close to the heart of the Vindis Group and with this in mind it seemed the natural step for the Vindis Group to partner with Ducati UK, to progress these values together.
Vindis Group is a motor dealer group with 16 dealerships across East Anglia spanning six manufacturer brands: Audi, Bentley, Ducati, SKODA, Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. Ducati Cambridge is their first venture into bikes and will be closely followed with the opening of Ducati Peterborough expected in early June.
Jamie Vindis, Managing Director of Vindis Group, stated: “I am extremely excited to have been awarded the Cambridgeshire Market Area by Ducati UK.
“Audi’s ownership of Ducati makes this a very natural move for the Vindis Group, but much more fundamental than this, Ducati holds the same core values of our other brands and of our wider organisation; strong brand identity, heritage and customer loyalty, allied with creative modern delivery and a focus on customer experience.
“The team and I are very much looking forward to adding Ducati to our customer offering and being able to meet the mobility needs of both new and existing customers with something this exciting. We are proud to be a part of this incredible journey, and we can’t wait for you to join us.”
Tim Maccabee, Managing Director of commented: ““Vindis Group are a very well respected company already operating with premium car brands, but one of the key factors in agreeing the partnership is the existing enthusiasm they hold for Ducati motorcycles. I am confident that Ducati customers in the Cambridge and Peterborough areas are going to be well looked after for years to come and personally I look forward to meeting many of them at the opening of Ducati Cambridge this weekend.”
The new dealership team will be led by Paul Andrew, who will be the Head of Business for both stores. Paul is a huge fan of bikes and is a regular trackday enthusiast. He is being promoted to this position from his previous role as Vindis Group Fleet Manager.
The grand opening recently took place where the Be Wiser Ducati British Superbike rider, Glen Irwin meet race fans, signed autographs and challenged guests to race on the bike simulators!
Ducati Cambridge is located in Harston on the A10, just off the M11 on the Western side of Cambridge.
