First Entries For H&h’s October Motorcycle Auction Highlight Impressive StandardA rare homologation Foggy Petronas FP1, showing delivery miles only, is among the first lots consigned to H&H Classics’ final Classic Motorcycle and Vintage Scooter Auction of 2025.

Taking place on Wednesday 29th October at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, West Midlands, the sale is now inviting further entries.

H&H’s previous motorcycle auctions have achieved remarkable success, with almost every lot finding a buyer. The last sale alone attracted bidders from 25 countries across the world, saw over 150 machines exceed their top estimates, and delivered a sell-through rate of 97% – among the highest in the industry.

The 2003 Petronas FP1 is one of only 75 UK-built homologation bikes, developed for the Foggy Petronas World Superbike team fronted by the recently retired Carl Fogarty.

Estimated at £29,000–£34,000, the stunning 900cc triple features all the best ancillary components available at the time. It has spent its entire life either in storage or on display, although it has been started and run.

The auction therefore presents a valuable opportunity to acquire a highly desirable machine and an evocative part of World Superbike racing history.

Mike Davis, senior motorcycle specialist at H&H Classics, said: “This is our last classic motorcycle and vintage scooter auction of 2025 and we’re aiming to repeat the success of the previous two earlier in the year. Judging by the early entries, signs look good.”First Entries For H&h’s October Motorcycle Auction Highlight Impressive Standard

Ducati enthusiasts will have the chance to acquire a beautiful 1991 Ducati 851 SP3. It is number 447 of only 500 homologation specials produced by the Italian motorcycle manufacturer that year.

Highly desirable and with a guide price of £14,000-£18,000, it is presented in authentic and original condition, including tool kit and both keys.

It is regarded as one of the greatest motorcycles of its generation and is estimated at £14,000-£16,000.
