Foggy To Launch New Ls2 HelmetLS2 have enlisted Carl Fogarty to unveil their new Challenger helmet to the UK public at Motorcycle Live.

Developed by LS2’s design team in in Spain, working with supported riders from MOTOGP, MOTO2 and MOTO3, the Challenger is their most innovative helmet to date. Its HPFC shell is a carefully layered blend of fiberglass weave and organic resin that weights just 1385 grams (+/- 50 g).

Track-inspired features include a 3mm flat visor with tear-off mounts and emergency release system cheek pads. Road riders are catered for with a Pinlock anti-fog insert, advanced venting system, drop-down sun shield and quick release strap.

The hypoallergenic lining is removable and washable and the Challenger also features Emergency Release System cheek pads, which can be slipped out so the helmet can be taken off with minimum movement of the fallen rider’s head.

Adding to the excitement, LS2 have appointed Carl Fogarty MBE as brand ambassador, and have commissioned two Foggy replica helmets, which will be available in Spring 2019.

“LS2 have done a fantastic job in bringing two of my classic helmet designs into the modern era” says the 7-times World Champion.

“Next year marks the 20th anniversary of my last World Superbike title so we thought this would be the perfect time to recreate that winning helmet. And 2020 will be the 30th anniversary of my Formula One and Senior wins at the TT, wearing another iconic design. These are top of the range helmets which combine a winning performance and design.”

Available in sizes XXS-3XL, retail prices start at just £249.99 for solid colours; graphics cost £269.99 and the Foggy replicas will be £299.
