Fresh Lambretta's Deliver X AppeaNew Lambretta X125 and X300 scooters arrive at UK dealers

Lambretta has released a completely fresh scooter product line in the new X series, beginning from £4,499 and available in dealers now.

Developed to meet a new generation of Lambrettistas, the X series anticipate their high expectations in terms of quality and aesthetics. With an innovative design still representing the brand’s iconic DNA, the new X125 and X300 scooters also take full advantage of modern features.

The X-series machines feature sporty, streamlined shapes and recall the typical stylistic features of legendary Lambrettas from the past. Striking a design balance between iconic and innovation, the fixed fender is maintained – a cherished characteristic of Lambretta – while the X chassis is a semi-monocoque steel construction that combines the shield, footboard and side panels. The exceptionally well-designed full LED lighting system is a clear example of eye-catching looks coupled to enhanced performance.

The stunning, articulated front suspension is a trademark of Lambretta’s heritage. Retro style meets modern performance here as this suspension is ready to provide exceptional road handling, while the generous double shock rear suspension absorbs whatever the ride can throw at it. Disc brakes front and rear provide powerful braking, backed up by the reassuring safety of an anti-lock braking system.

Fresh Lambretta's Deliver X AppeaA keyless ignition system makes for easy starting on those busy mornings with no fumbling for keys. A full colour TFT disaply provides the centrepiece to a dash that’s easy to read information about the X125 and X300.

In terms of practicality, beneath the supple and luxurious seat adorned with the Lambretta logo is enough space to store a helmet or luggage, while a discreet cargo loop at the front of the seat provides further capacity for carrying extra goods.

The 124 and 275 cc single cylinder engines are both powerful (maximum outputs 12.7 bhp and 24.8 bhp, respectively) and benefit from Bosch-deleveloped electronic fuel injection to be responsive away from the lights and fuel efficient as a daily ride.

The lambretta X125 is £4,499 and available in Gloss grey, Amaro red, Glacier white, or Super black. The Lambretta X300 is available in three different versions, SR and GP (both £4,899) which differ in their colour and trim options, while the GT version adds a screen and rack for an additional £100. All Lambretta scooters carry a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
