HM Quickshifter Set To Revolutionise Racing And Trackday Experience

HM Quickshifter is set to revolutionise the trackday and racer market with the launch of the high-tech HM Cloud. The Cloud will allow riders to connect their HM M3 Dash (and other HM logging products) and see full data analysis from each session, revealing RPM, throttle position, brake pressure and much more. The system will also allow riders to compare and overlay their track information and lap times with friends and fellow riders around the world through a web browser.

Every year, thousands of motorcyclists across the globe take part in trackdays and competitive events, eager to improve their skills and lap times. HM Quickshifter products have been the go-to solution for top racers and riders alike and now the UK-based company is set to transform the trackday and racing market with its revolutionary new HM Cloud.

HM Quickshifter has a strong heritage of working with race teams around the world and most recently they have partnered with No Limits Racing, helping their large base of grassroots racers develop their skills further.

The new online platform connects with the company’s leading M3 Dash and unlocks a level of data analysis that has never before been available for regular riders. The MotoGP-style of data provides riders in-depth oversight of each session lap by lap, revealing everything needed to improve their performance. With the dash connecting directly to the ECU, the Cloud is able to show;

Overlaid on the track map, riders are able to pinpoint the exact differences between each lap; allowing them to work on their performance and reduce lap times. Currently, there are 38 tracks uploaded to the HM Cloud including UK circuits such as Anglesey, Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Castle Combe, Croft, Donington Park, Knockhill, Mallory Park, Oulton Park, Pembry, Silverstone, Snetterton and Thruxton. Alongside that, famous circuits around the world such as Almeria, Assen, Daytona, Guadix, Jerez, Misano, Mugello, Phillip Island and Valencia. This list is growing all of the time, but most importantly, the HM Dash will still work perfectly even if the track is not listed. The only difference being that the Start/Finish line and sector position will not be the same, however this does not affect the data logging or lap timing.

The HM Cloud is all fully automatic meaning when a rider turns the bike on, anywhere in the world, the data logging, track mapping and data analysis aspects will work immediately. It will even auto recognise different layouts of the same track.

The HM Cloud is completely free to sign up to and the user-friendly dashboard allows riders to check out their own performance at each circuit as well as see an overview of the overall best lap times from every registered user. Designed to be more than just a performance tool, the HM Cloud is a social platform too – allowing users to connect with friends so they are able to chat online and compare data. They can even race each other around the same track that has been data logged with an HM logging product.

Designed to be as simple to upload as possible, riders need to download HM Trackside to their computer, then when the USB stick from the M3 Dash is plugged in the session information will automatically upload. This means riders are able to view their performance after each and every session whilst still at the track.

Whilst still in its early stages, the HM Cloud will be expanding over the coming months to include far more intuitive access for riders; including the ability to gain cutting-edge advice from race engineers and technicians from around the world’s paddocks. This unique feature will allow riders to book time with genuine British Superbike, World Superbike and MotoGP staff who will be able to analyse their data and identify areas for improvement.
