As part of KTM’s ongoing quality monitoring and product development efforts, the screw connection of the steering damper has been further optimised to help prevent potential issues.

To ensure the highest standards of durability and rider confidence, KTM has introduced an improved specification for the steering damper assembly. Authorised KTM dealers will therefore apply threadlocker to the steering damper screw connection on affected parts.

The update will be carried out free of charge and exclusively by KTM’s authorised dealer network. Customers can visit the KTM website to find their nearest authorised dealer.

In line with KTM’s commitment to continuous improvement, this proactive measure further enhances product reliability and customer satisfaction. KTM remains dedicated to continuously optimising its products to meet the highest standards of quality and performance, reinforcing the confidence customers can expect from every KTM ride.
