Indulge in the Ducati experience at this year’s MCN festival
Ducati will be in attendance at the East of England Arena, Peterborough from the 18th to 19th May, with no less than four fleets covering almost every type of riding you would wish to experience.
For the first time in the UK there will be a fleet of 20 of the new Diavel 1260 fleet. The Diavel, first launched in 2010 see its first major update. The new Diavel 1260 features the Testastretta DVT 1262 engine, Ducati Quick Shift (up/down), Cornering ABS, Cruise control, a new chassis, updated electronics and Day time running lights (S version only).
The Multistrada experience makes a return to the arena but now with a mix of the new Multistrada 950 and the latest Multistrada 1260. These can be test ridden on a guided road route from the festival. The Multistrada 950 is also updated for 2019 and now includes an S version that possesses sky hook suspension, Cornering ABS, Ducati Quick Shift (up/down) and the latest electronics.
For those that like to venture off road or improve their riding skills, there is the opportunity to try out the Ducati off road experience with a Multistrada 1260 Enduro. The 1260 Enduro is also updated for 2019, with the 1262 cm3 Ducati Testastretta DVT engine and revised ergonomics (seat, handlebar and centre of gravity are all lower than on the 1200 version).
The off road experience is a taster of the DRE Enduro Academy located in Italy, led by former Dakar rider Beppe Gualini and his team of expert instructors: http://dre.ducati.it/enduro/en/. The experience features a series of off road obstacles and drills to not only give visitors an opportunity to learn new skills but also try out the Multistrada 1260 Enduro in its natural environment.
Ducati UK will also bring along their roadshow fleet that includes selected models from both the Ducati and Scrambler brands including 959 Panigale, Panigale V4, Supersport, Hypermotard 950 and Scrambler 1100.
Ducati Peterborough will be available to discuss any sales enquiries and will be retailing the latest Ducati and Scrambler apparel from their pop-up Ducati store.
All road test rides are escorted and can only be booked on the day. It is recommended riders visit the Ducati area early in the day to book their test ride to avoid missing out. Those wishing to take a test ride must have had a full licence for over 2 years and be over 21. Appropriate protective and motorcycle gear must be worn. Pillion rides made by prior arrangement.
