Mv Agusta And Wyler Vetta Together For The Second Edition Of Milano Watch Week MV Agusta, official partner of the second edition of Milano Watch Week – the international event dedicated to haute horlogerie – has unveiled in preview the two Jumbostar watches created in collaboration with Wyler Vetta.

The historic Swiss maison with an Italian soul and the legendary motorcycle manufacturer from Schiranna have joined forces to create an exclusive collection celebrating MV Agusta’s 80th anniversary, blending design, precision, and a shared passion for mechanics.

The collaboration stems from shared values such as obsessive attention to mechanical detail, a commitment to research, and a rich Italian history of victories, design, and excellence. The project combines the aesthetic and horological savoir-faire of Wyler Vetta with the lines, materials, and colour codes that have made MV Agusta a motorcycling legend.

The meeting of these two icons gives life to two exclusive Jumbostar timepieces:

  • A chronograph powered by the ETA 2894 BICOMPAX caliber, with a 42-hour power reserve, in a limited edition of 80 pieces, commemorating MV Agusta’s 80th anniversary.
  • A time-only automatic watch, available in 500 pieces, equipped with a La Joux-Perret G100 movement, offering a 68-hour power reserve.

Both models feature a 40mm stainless steel case. The inspiration behind both watches comes from the MV 98, the very first motorcycle produced by MV Agusta, combined with the refined design language adopted for the Superveloce 98 Limited Edition — the anniversary model celebrating the brand’s first engine.

“This collaboration is born from the meeting of two worlds driven by a passion for excellence and creativity. Wyler Vetta, long inspired by the world of motorsports and aligned with its spirit of adrenaline and precision, merges its horological expertise with the motorcycle legend that is MV Agusta. Together, we’ve designed timepieces that transform engineering into emotion, celebrating style, performance, and Italian heritage,” commented Beppe Ambrosini, Partner and Senior Advisor of Wyler Vetta.

Filippo Bassoli, Chief Brand & Marketing Officer of MV Agusta, added: “Every MV Agusta motorcycle is born from the fusion of extreme engineering and iconic design. Collaborating with Wyler Vetta allowed us to bring the same philosophy to timepieces: precision, style, and dynamism become a tangible experience worn on the wrist — as if every moment were as intense as a race.”

Elegance, obsessive attention to detail, mechanical precision, care for components such as the kits supplied with the most prestigious motorcycles, and the pride of fully Italian manufacturing have often aligned MV Agusta with the world of watchmaking, making the Varese-based brand the perfect partner for Milano Watch Week.

The event, which for the second year turned Milan into a global hub for enthusiasts and collectors, proved to be the ideal stage to unveil this further celebration of MV Agusta’s 80th anniversary.

THE WATCHES:
At the heart of the new Wyler Vetta x MV Agusta timepieces lies the dial, designed as a direct tribute to the world of racing. In the center, natural carbon fiber recalls the material of choice for high-performance sports motorcycles — lightweight, strong, and a symbol of extreme performance.

The Rosso Verghera color chosen for the background references MV Agusta’s historic livery — a tone also used on the Superveloce 98 Limited Edition. The applied Arabic numerals and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova, ensuring optimal legibility even in the most dynamic conditions, just like the dashboards of racing bikes.

A golden detail stands out on the dial: the number “37”, between 7 and 8 o’clock, paying tribute to MV Agusta’s 37 World Championship titles — a unique record in the motorcycle world.

The Wyler Vetta x MV Agusta chronograph features a tachymeter bezel and silver subdials, designed to evoke the instrumentation of track bikes, while the time-only version showcases a silver minute track that enhances the design’s cleanliness and balance.

In both models:
  • The Wyler Vetta logo is placed at 12 o’clock
  • The MV Agusta logo appears at 6 o’clock
  • The steel hands with Super-LumiNova inserts recall the aerodynamic shape of speedometer needles
  • The seconds hand comes in a racing red

The crown at 3 o’clock echoes the shape of the gearwheel in the MV Agusta logo and is engraved with it. The chronograph pushers are inspired by the Torx screws found on MV Agusta fuel caps.

In both models, a secondary crown at 10 o’clock controls the rotating rehaut.

The screw-down case back with transparent sapphire crystal reveals the automatic movement — a true engine on display. The oscillating weight features the MV logo in the center and matches the anodized aluminum rotor color of MV motorcycles, alongside the Wyler Vetta logo.

Proportions are optimized for comfort and sturdiness:
  • 12.6 mm thickness for the chronograph
  • 10.9 mm thickness for the time-only version
  • Both watches are water-resistant to 10 ATM

The chronograph comes with a quick-release steel bracelet, paired with a brown leather strap for a perfect balance of sportiness and sophistication. The time-only version includes a brown leather strap and a second perforated black rubber strap with a decidedly racing character.
