New Cyan Storm colour for Yamaha Hyper Naked models and updated EU5 engine for the MT-03
With a total of 7 models from 125cc to 1000cc, Yamaha’s highly successful MT range offers a wide selection of Hyper Naked bikes that have been designed to deliver the right blend of performance and style at every stage of the riding career, from teenage beginner to experienced expert.
It will come as no surprise that this segment includes some of Yamaha’s best-selling models such as the hugely popular MT-07 and MT-09 that have consistently been at or near the top of the sales charts ever since their introduction.
For 2022 every MT in the line-up excluding SP models will be available in the new Cyan Storm colour, with wheels finished in pure Cyan – while the grey and black bodywork features Cyan and vermillion accents on the tail and air scoops. It’s a bold, minimalist and attention-grabbing look that perfectly matches the aggressive and athletic character of these muscular high-torque naked bikes.

Following the complete redesign for 2021 that saw the introduction of a new 890cc CP3 engine with a lighter and more compact chassis, the ever-popular MT-09 and the premium specification MT-09 SP are now EU5 compliant.

New EU5 engine for the MT-03
Built with pure MT DNA and featuring a torque-rich 321cc 2-cylinder engine, the MT-03 is an ideal bike for riders who may be stepping up from the 125cc class. As well as its good-looks, the impressive specification includes 37 mm upside down front forks, dual eye position lights and a central LED headlight, and stylish LCD instruments.
