Pack-up and Back-Up with SW-Motech
New from Germany’s SW-Motech, the Racer [above left] and Trooper [above right] backpacks are tailored to the motorcycle rider, featuring high quality materials, low weight and comfort both on and off the bike.
Racer
Holding a handy 16 litres, the Racer is ideal for commuters and day trippers. The shoulder and waist straps are fully adjustable for a snug fit and to help prevent the pack shifting whilst riding. All three straps, and the back of the pack, are padded for comfort when carrying heavy loads. A quick-release buckle makes getting the pack on and off easy and there’s a carry handle too. Inside there are separate compartments to keep contents organised, including an integrated laptop holder, which will hold devices with a screen size of up to 14 inches, and a cable port that enables the wearer to use a music device while on the move. A tough and durable 600D textile shell and integrated rain cover keep contents safe, while reflective detailing keeps the wearer visible in low light conditions.
Trooper
For longer trips, and those who need to carry bigger loads, the Trooper has a 25-litre capacity, divided between two main compartments. These in turn have separate sections, plus a compartment for laptops with screen size up to 15 inches and there’s also a zipped lid pocket. Luggage compression straps can be used to lash on extra items (e.g. waterproofs) and the Trooper has an external helmet net as well. Like the Racer, the outer shell is made from 600D fabric with high visibility detailing, and there’s an integrated rain cover to keep contents dry. The back and all three straps are padded and have adjustment throughout, plus a carry handle.
The 16-litre Racer retails for £41.35, the larger 25-litre Trooper costs £72.16 including VAT. Call 01256 704909 or visit www.motohaus.com for details.
