Piaggio Beverly Range

Launched in 2001, Piaggio Beverly has revolutionised the mid-sized scooter market, introducing a vehicle with an attractive design, brilliant performance and extreme safety, not only due to its large-diameter wheels but also thanks to motorcycle-type frames and suspensions. Beverly’s commercial success has always gone hand in hand with constant updates to keep it on top of the sales charts and an object of desire for the most sophisticated urban users.

With Beverly, Piaggio completes its offer of high-wheel scooters to satisfy all daily mobility needs. The Liberty is the entry model for Piaggio high-wheel scooters, equipped with ABS and the air-cooled version of the Piaggio i-get engine; the Piaggio Medley is the gateway from the Liberty to the large, luxurious Beverly. It comes with the full-range of standard equipment. This includes the ‘Start & Stop’ system, the 125 and 150 cc versions of the most recent evolution of the Piaggio liquid-cooled i-get engine, ABS and an incredible underseat compartment that can accommodate two full-face helmets. The Beverly range is, therefore, the point of arrival in the motorcycling development of Piaggio’s high-wheel scooter customer.

Piaggio Beverly RangeThe Piaggio Beverly 300 and 350 family

The Piaggio Beverly 2020 range is available in 300 and 350 engines. The latter is the innovative record-breaking power unit first introduced in 2011 in the top-of-the-range SportTouring version only. It is now extended to the entire Beverly family, consisting of Beverly, Beverly S and Beverly Tourer.

The 300 cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, electronic injection engine provides a maximum power of 21 hp at 7,250 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 22.5 Nm 5,750 rpm. Such specs come with a throttle response to match, coupled with feisty performance, making it ideal both for tackling congested town traffic and for mid-range touring in full comfort, whether riding solo or two-up.

Beverly and Beverly S are also available with the ultra-modern 4-stroke, 4-valve, electronic injection and liquid-cooled 350 single-cylinder engine, a state-of-the-art Piaggio Group scooter engine technology. This is an engine designed to provide performance comparable to a 400 cc unit, but maintaining compact dimensions and reduced weight in line with a 300 cc engine. Equipped with the first and only scooter engine with an automatic multi-plate wet clutch derived from the motorcycle world, it has exceptional performance with extremely contained fuel consumption: maximum power of 30.2 HP at 8,250 rpm and maximum torque of 29 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The extremely effective frame and suspension guarantees superb agility, effectiveness and riding pleasure.

The entire Beverly range is packed with standard equipment and content. The ABS braking system and ASR traction control system are standard on all models. The remote control for opening the seat at a distance is also standard and helps you to find your vehicle by flashing the indicators (‘bike finder’ function, optional on Beverly). The storage compartment in the leg shield houses a practical and functional USB port, for charging all modern devices. All models in the Piaggio Beverly range are available in attractive colour variants with dedicated finishes and offer an elegant instrument cluster with integrated LCD display and indicators for ABS and ASR; the latter can be disabled using the special button on the handlebar.

The Piaggio Beverly family consists of:

  • Piaggio Beverly 300 and 350: a classic of urban mobility. Safe, reliable, generous in performance. The all-Italian design is marked by elegant and refined shapes, in which details such as the position lights and the LED rear stop lights play a primary role. It is ideal for city and suburban travel, with its comfortable, erect and relaxed riding position, offering excellent wind protection and the capacity of the under-seat compartment, which can accommodate two full jet helmets.
  • Piaggio Beverly 300 and 350 S: the sportiest version of Beverly has dedicated colours, and matt dark grey painted details, which give it a youthful and aggressive look. The Piaggio Beverly S also stands out for its motorcycle-inspired frame and suspension, with a centrally positioned fuel tank, under the footrest, capable of centralising the masses (at the same time freeing up space for the underseat compartment), for a riding experience that perfectly balances power and agility.
  • Piaggio Beverly 350 Tourer: The flagship of the Beverly range stands out for its equipment and benchmark performance, offered by the 330 cc single-cylinder engine. The Beverly 350 Tourer comes as standard with a practical and sporty smoked windshield and a capacious 36-litre top box in the same colour as the vehicle and a backrest in the same colour as the seat. The equipment also includes the PIAGGIO MIA connectivity system, through which you can connect your smartphone to the vehicle via Bluetooth. Using the App, you can thus record and display a rich set of information about the trip and the operating status of the vehicle on your mobile device.
