As an Official Main Partner of the Int. GS Trophy 2026, SENA will provide 90 communication systems to keep participants, marshals and the organisation connected throughout the event.
BMW ConnectedRide COM P1 GS and SENA 60X units will accompany the motorcycle teams, while EXPAND Mesh Multi-Sport headsets will enable photographers and videographers in particular to stay in touch with teams in the field.
90 Systems To Connect The Event
From 13 to 18 September in Romania, the Int. GS Trophy 2026 Romania will bring together riders from around the world for six days of challenges and off-road adventure. In this environment, communication enables participants, marshals and the organisation to remain coordinated throughout the route.

At the heart of the set-up, 55 BMW ConnectedRide COM P1 GS units will be provided. Jointly developed by SENA and BMW, the system integrates into the new BMW GS Rallye Carbon helmet. It uses Mesh Intercom for group communications and combines microphone noise reduction with second-generation HD speakers for clear communication. Its design also meets the robustness requirements of GS equipment.
The set-up will also include 25 SENA 60X, featuring Mesh Intercom, Sound by Bose and a new joystick designed for use with gloves.
Finally, 10 EXPAND Mesh Multi-Sport headsets will enable members of the organisation travelling by car, particularly photographers and videographers, to stay in communication with teams in the field without having to wear a motorcycle helmet.
From Preparation To On-site Support
SENA’s involvement starts well before the event gets under way. On 23 and 24 July, its teams were at TWTmoto in Garmisch-Partenkirchen to help install and prepare the communication systems for the event.
SENA also supported the BMW Off-Road training sessions held at the Enduro Park in Hechlingen. Kyungjae Han, BMW OEM Project Manager at SENA Europe, provided technical expertise and liaised with the BMW Motorrad teams.
During the Int. GS Trophy 2026, SENA will also provide on-site technical support. The teams will be able to service the equipment if required, replace speakers, microphones or units, and assist participants, marshals and the organisation with using the communication systems.
From preparing the equipment to using it on the Romanian trails, SENA is supporting communications for the Int. GS Trophy 2026 both before and during the event.
