AIROH at the Salon du 2 Roues 2024 presents its new proposals for the road and off-road segments, as well as an entire renewed collection.
At the long-awaited event in Lyon, AIROH officially opens the 2024 motorcycle season with its renewed collection. For the road segment, best sellers such as Matryx and Connor accompany new models like Commander 2 and J 110. For dirt road enthusiasts, Twist 3 and Aviator Ace 2 helmets introduce the provision for Bluetooth communication systems, in the off-road segment. A collection entirely ECE 22 06 approved, also renewed for graphics and color variants.
AIROH could not miss the Lyon event which officially opens the motorcycle season. Precisely at the 2024 Salon du 2 Roues the Italian brand presents its new helmets’ collection, entirely ECE 2206 approved, proposed for both road and off-road riders.
Best sellers such as Matryx and Connor are flanked by new proposals such as Commander 2 and J 110, as well as Twist 3 and Aviator Ace 2 for the off-road segment, not to mention the renewed graphic and color variants. A wide proposal that will certainly meet the needs of every type of riders.

ADVENTURES AND STYLE ON THE ROAD AND ON THE TRACK
We start from the renewed Commander 2 adventure helmet, and then move on to the new versatile J 110, an urban jet which with a simple gesture can easily become a full-face helmet in all respects, flanked by the now iconic Connor and Matryx, recent winner of an important and international prize, the 2024 iF Design Award.
Soon to be released, Spark 2 will also be displayed, present in all its captivating graphic and color variants. The Lyon event will also be a showcase for the preview of two other new helmets: the racing proposal GP 800, and the flip up Mathisse II.
ALWAYS ON AIR EVEN ON DIRT ROAD
The company pays great attention to the road segment, but naturally an evolution regarding the off-road sector cannot be missing. There are two new proposals, Twist 3 and Aviator Ace 2, both predisposed for Bluetooth communication systems, a real revolution in the off-road segment.
Naturally, there will also be the best sellers Aviator 3 and Strycker, to complete the proposal, the Wraaap model.

MATRYX is the new AIROH full-face proposal for the road motorcycling segment. Brand’s top of the range of the road collection, it is aimed not only at expert motorcyclists but at all enthusiasts looking for a travel companion ready to face any challenge, even the most demanding ones.
Towards ever important goals
ECE 2206 homologated, MATRYX is synonymous with maximum safety and protection, fundamental peculiarities of AIROH. Designed and developed in the company’s laboratories, above all inside the futuristic wind tunnel, it has a striking design, characterized by decisive and aggressive lines, as required by the racing world. The DD Ring retention system allows it to be also used on the track.
The outer shell, available in two different sizes, made of Full Carbon 3K or HPC (High Performance Composite). It includes the ASN (AIROH Sliding Net) system, a particular 3D fabric structure which facilitates the passage of air for a better user experience and reduces the forces transmitted to the head in case of impact. The helmet also has the AEFR System (AIROH Emergency Fast Release) which allows the cheek pads quick removal in case of emergency.
Comfort and high performance
In addition to its design and aerodynamics, MATRYX has also been tested inside the wind tunnel in terms of acoustics and thermoregulation; this for the most efficient combination of design and high performance, for unrivalled comfort and riding pleasure in every situation and condition.
The ventilation system is innovative and functional, and includes air intakes positioned on the chin guard and on the upper part of the helmet. To complete, the rear spoilers with extractors optimize the aeration inside the helmet. The ventilation is controllable even when wearing gloves allowing to adjust the air intakes with a simple gesture, in order to better manage the internal thermoregulation according to the climatic situation and use, emphasizing the pleasure to ride.
MATRYX can be used in any season, for this reason, it is also equipped with a practical Stop Wind, available in two lengths: a short one that protects against annoying air infiltrations and a longer one that can also guarantee protection from the winter cold. In addition, there is a removable nose cover.
Maximum attention was also paid to the inner linings which are hypoallergenic, removable and washable. They are made with high quality fabrics, like the innovative Coolmax, and they also boast exclusive treatments that guarantee maximum breathability and a pleasant feel.
Not to lose sight of the goal
MATRYX has an extraordinarily wide visor with ATVR technology (AIROH Tool-less Visor Removal) and it is UV resistant. Prepared for the Pinlock 120XLT lens, available inside the box. It’s worth to underline also the innovative A3S system (AIROH Automatic AntiFog System) combined with the central locking system, to have maximum control over every detail, without ever giving up on safety. The helmet is also completed with a practical integrated Sun Visor.
As anticipated, MATRYX has two shells that cover from size XS to XXL, to adapt to different cranial conformities, from the smallest to the biggest ones. Its weight is from 1450g ±50g (only for the Full Carbon 3K version) and from 1500g ±50g (for the HPC version), it is set up for intercom thanks to the Bluetooth Ready system, with the possibility to place the battery inside the helmet in the dedicated space.
MATRYX will soon be available at a suggested retail price starting from €359.99 for the HPC version, and from €499.99 for the Full Carbon 3K one.

Expected for the start of the spring season, AIROH presents the new colors of its flagship flip up: the Mathisse helmet is presented to the public with captivating and colorful graphics, for all those who do not want to compromise between style and technology.
Widely recognizable for its lines that draw a unique and captivating profile, the AIROH Mathisse helmet presents itself to the public with new and intriguing colors with a fluid and dynamic style. Since its birth in 2002, Mathisse has undergone numerous innovations and improvements, to adapt this pioneering model to the changing tastes and needs, and so in 2021 Mathisse has assumed its current conformation, complete with technologically advanced systems and able to look forward boldly.
In view of the 2023 season, motorcycle touring enthusiasts will find Mathisse in a further renewed look with new graphics and colors. Antonio Cairoli and AIROH, two stories inextricably linked, a relationship based on mutual trust that has allowed a joint growth. To pay homage to this significant relationship, the Italian company presents the special edition of Aviator 3 dedicated to the nine-time world champion: Aviator 3 Legend. Inspired by the countless victories of the AIROH rider, Legend retraces Cairoli’s successes and brings to the market, with a unique interpretation of its kind, the helmet that the champion received as a gift at the end of his dazzling career in MXGP.
A special collector’s edition
Aviator 3 Legend is a collector’s helmet created to make available to the public the product with which Tony Cairoli was surprised at the end of his MXGP last dance. The special edition is characterized by the color gold, to make even more precious and iconographic this helmet dedicated to the most loyal fans, a concrete symbol that consecrates Cairoli’s legendary motocross career.
The Legend graphic contains, among others, the most iconic details of the nine-time world champion: the laurel leaves symbol of victory, the inevitable “TC222” on the chin guard, the chessboard as an emblem that accompanied the rider in numerous victories and races.
And again, a celebratory graphic that includes the representation of Cairoli in action and the nine years in which he became world champion. A work of art with golden inner linings embellished by the laser printed edge that recalls the back of the helmet with the wording “The Legend of Cairoli”. A special edition to collect, accompanied by a special postcard with the autograph of one of the most successful riders in history.
