MV Agusta’s Dragster Featured in Argylle

MV Agusta’s Dragster Featured in new Matthew Vaughn film, Argylle.

The Apple original film Argylle, in association with Marv, arrives in cinemas February 2.

MV Agusta is thrilled to announce the featuring of its wicked Dragster model in Argylle, the new Apple Original Film from Matthew Vaughn’s MARV Studios. The razor-witted, reality-bending, globe-encircling spy thriller from the twisted mind of director Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman films, Kick-Ass) arrives in theaters February 2, 2024, and features an all-star cast including Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Oscar winner Sam Rockwell, and the legendary Samuel L. Jackson.

MV Agusta’s Dragster is the smart rebel in our collection: inimitable, and with a unique personality. The curves of the fuel tank and headlight, the bobbed tail and the elegant wheels superbly frame the 800 cc, three-cylinder engine at the heart of the Dragster. Ready for action, bursting with exuberance and power, it simply was the perfect choice for an adrenaline-packed movie such as Argylle. The three-cylinder of the Dragster leaves you breathless thanks to its immediate and precise response to the twist of the throttle.

Timur Sardarov, MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. CEO, commented: “We can’t wait to see the movie! The fact that our stunning Dragster was chosen by the creators of Argylle to represent brutal elegance, unwavering style, and raw, ruthless power fills us with pride. No doubt that MV Agusta fans around the world will enjoy the movie just as much as we do.”

In Argylle, Bryce Dallas Howard plays Elly Conway, the reclusive author of a series of best-selling espionage novels, whose idea of bliss is a night at home with her cat, Alfie. But when the plots of Elly’s fictional books—which center on secret agent Argylle and his mission to unravel a global spy syndicate—begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization, quiet evenings at home become a thing of the past. Accompanied by Aidan (Sam Rockwell), a cat-allergic spy, Elly (carrying Alfie in her backpack) races across the world to stay one step ahead of the killers as the line between her fictional world and her real one begins to blur.

MV Agusta Closes a Successful Year and Gears up Production in Schiranna

It’s been a year since the announcement of the strategic partnership between MV Agusta and PIERER Mobility AG. Joining Europe’s leading motorcycle group, MV Agusta tapped in on synergies, processes and strengths, immediately achieving incredible results. In the past 12 months, MV Agusta launched 5 staggering new models, the LXP Orioli the world’s first luxury all-terrain motorcycle, the iconic Superveloce 98, the wicked Brutale 1000 RR Assen, the limited edition Dragster RR SCS America and the super exclusive 6-units-only Superveloce Arsham, a true work of art.

Looking back at this extraordinary year, there are a number of milestones that are worth mentioning and celebrating:

New Production Line

The latest milestone is represented by the new production line through which MV Agusta is now stepping up its industrial operations. The new line will turn out up to one thousand bikes per month. The new line is located in MV Agusta’s historic factory in Schiranna, and features the most advanced technology in the field.

MV Agusta’s master craftsmen, still assembling every model by hand, will be seconded by a fully automated line management system for the handling, moving and correct positioning of the units along the 28 workstations, with a particular focus on ergonomics and safety. This represents the first major investment for MV Agusta in several years, as part of its new and ambitious industrial plan.

The initial production will be around 1.000 units per month, but the new line has a total capacity of 100 bikes per day, and plans are to gradually increase output to match demand.

Timur Sardarov, CEO, MV Agusta Motor S.p.A., said: “I am so excited about this new line launching right here, in our historic plant in Italy, while many other industries are delocalising or even stepping down production. All the efforts we’ve been putting in over the past couple of years are coming together and we are now seeing some very concrete results, with growing numbers and the increasing success of our latest models. This is not only an investment in our own operations, but also in this community and in our people.”

4-year Factory Warranty

Another crucial milestone was introduced in the first half of 2023, when MV Agusta launched a 4-year Factory Warranty for all model year 2023 bikes. This strategic decision reflects the brand’s dedication to a customer-centric approach. The extended warranty not only enhances the MV Agusta customer experience but also serves as a tangible testament to the company’s unwavering confidence in its fully Made-in-Italy motorcycles and the rigorous processes each bike undergoes.

24/7 Roadside Assistance

MV Agusta also offers a lifetime 24/7 roadside assistance, activated upon the purchase of any MV Agusta motorcycle, in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain, and the UK, with additional countries to follow. This comprehensive assistance package ensures that MV Agusta customers can fully enjoy the thrill of riding, with services ranging from on-the-spot repairs and towing to authorised dealers to technical assistance, transportation to the desired destination, and a variety of supplementary services such as replacement vehicles, repatriation of the vehicle from abroad, and accommodation. These initiatives underscore MV Agusta’s commitment to setting new industry standards and continuously elevating customer experience.

MV Agusta have also set the foundations for an incredible 2024.

Stronger and expanded dealer network

2024 will see the MV Agusta’s dealer network expand, with the target of 200 dealers active by mid-year with the focus on its most relevant markets. As an example, the home market of MV Agusta, Italy, will benefit from 21 official dealers in 2024 which will be supported by authorized service centres. Those will enable customers to have access to trained technicians to service and maintain their MV Agusta motorcycles. The dealer network will also be expanded in other markets, such as USA where more than 40 dealers will be active in 2024, Germany, UK, France, and more.

System integration

2024 will also see all integrations with the PIERER Mobility AG’s systems finalized. For all MV Agusta products to be distributed by KTM, a great number of integrations were needed: from logistic and inventory software to IT and dealer management tools. Those integrations will be finalized by the end of Q1 2024, reducing sensibly the delivery time for parts, motorcycles, services and resulting in a much-improved customer experience.

Reinforced customer-centric approach

MV Agusta aims to know each customer by name and with this goal in mind a series of initiatives will start taking place in 2024. An exciting example of it is represented by the reintroduction of factory tours. MV Agusta will in fact open thedoors to its only production plant in Italy. For existing customers and MV Agusta fans, in fact, it will be possible to visit the factory with tours that will be organized by MV Agusta official dealers. Such initiatives will provide the unique opportunity for MV Agusta customers to witness how every MV Agusta motorcycle in the world is hand-built in Italy and to get to know the people behind these engineering masterpieces.

New models coming

Throughout the course of 2024, MV Agusta fans will be delighted with new exciting models, such as the Superveloce 1000 Serie Oro, which was displayed at EICMA in its final development stage. More pieces of art on two wheels will be launched and more information will come in the upcoming months.

Luca Martin, MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. Board Member and COO, declared: “When we look back at the beginning of 2023 we are astonished by the number of changes, implementations, improvements that have been put in place during this first year working together with KTM. Was it all perfect? No. We always strive for perfection, and therefore we are proud of what has been done, but at the same time we are fully aware of what can be further improved.

We are fully aware that our customers have experienced challenges, such as the delay in parts delivery or the renewed dealer network which hasn’t had an optimal penetration in the territory. I want to take this opportunity to again let our customers and fans know that we listen to them, and every decision of ours is based on one unique goal: putting our customers at the centre of our attention.

When we decided to reboot the entire dealer network, we were aware that this would have created disruption at the beginning of the process, but we are also sure that such decision has taken MV Agusta on the right path to provide the best customer experience in the future. The dealer network will further expand in 2024, with an improved penetration, our product ambassadors and technicians at each single dealerships are being extensively trained and the selection process for business owners to work with MV Agusta is very strict. Customers are at the centre of our approach and to achieve that we have a lot to do.

Same goes regarding parts availability. The warehouse and system integration with PIERER Mobility AG has taken a considerable amount of time, causing temporary disruptions, but such process will be finalized in early 2024 and such challenges for our customers will end. I personally believe that transparency is the best way to create a healthy relationship with our customers and fans and therefore I wanted to take this opportunity to openly address the challenges that our customers have faced in 2023 and to thank them for their passion and love.”

Superveloce Arsham

The most exclusive collaboration in the motorcycle world.

MV Agusta and Daniel Arsham announce their collaboration in creating a super-exclusive limited series to 6 units of MV Agusta Superveloce: The Superveloce Arsham. The Italian luxury motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta and internationally acclaimed artist Daniel Arsham have joined forces for the creation of a dedicated super-exclusive limited series of Superveloce, presented to the world at Miami Art Basel on December 8th.

The MV Agusta Superveloce is MV Agusta’s most iconic motorcycle currently in production and its distinctive neo-retro design was chosen by the New York-based artis to create a true art piece using his iconic erosion technique.

Daniel Arsham is known for breaking the rules of academic artistry, a trait fully expressed in his signature “erosion” technique. Arsham’s avant-garde erosion method renders the concept of passing time through sculptures. Working in a multitude of disciplines, he creates and crystallizes ambiguous in-between spaces and situations, and stages what he refers to as future relics of the present. Always iconic, most of the objects that he fabricates refer to the late 20th century or millennial era, when technological obsolescence unprecedentedly accelerated along with the digital dematerialization of our world. While the present, the future and the past poetically collide in his intruiging yet playful visions between romanticism and pop art, Arsham also experiments with the timelessness of certain symbols and gestures across cultures.

The concept is astonishingly reminiscent of the intimate nature of the Superveloce itself: disturbingly attractive, avant-garde, incredibly iconic and high-tech yet with clear references to the great classics of motorcycling, MV Agusta’s Superveloce was a natural choice for this project. The series will be limited to only 6 units, this will also make this particular model a true rarity and an object of desire for passionate collectors.

Timur Sardarov, CEO, MV Agusta Motor S.p.A., said: “I am thrilled about this incredible collaboration with Daniel Arsham, an artist I truly admire and that has so much in common with MV Agusta in terms of values and philosophy. His works are amazingly inspiring, and together we will take our Motorcycle Art to the next level. ”

Daniel Arsham, said: “I was always fascinated by the automotive world. The design ethos of cars and motorcycles, always fits a particular era and they mark time through their design. The project on the Superveloce was the opportunity to explore a “moving sculpture”, a functional motorcycle that have been transformed into a sculpture, by adding crystal erosions and by applying a colour that is reminiscent of my other artworks and style. Together with MV Agusta we created everything on the bike, including the stand, overcoming engineering challenges and resulting in a new interpretation of Motorcycle Art.”

MV Agusta LXP Orioli

There is no greater or rarer luxury than the total freedom to travel, explore and experience without setting any limits. MV Agusta celebrates this concept by presenting the world’s first luxury all-terrain motorcycle – the LXP Orioli.

Produced as a limited run of just 500, this new model is a tribute to Italian motorcycling legend Edi Orioli who, wearing the iconic Lucky Explorer colors of green, red, and white, became a symbol of adventure riding in the 1990s, dominating the world rally scene. As well as being numbered, every motorcycle produced will be personally signed by Edi Orioli, making each a unique piece to ride and collect.

The LXP Orioli positions in the luxury motorcycle segment for its equipment, technical features, choice of materials and attention to detail, ensuring the utmost comfort and first-rate performance both on and off-road.

Engine
The engine is the new 931 cc three-cylinder, developed entirely in Varese. Development was guided by the vocation of a model like the LXP Orioli, which must offer outstanding performance and adapt to a wide variety of riding contexts. The new three-cylinder is powerful, rich in torque, versatile in delivery and particularly lightweight at just 57 kg, which makes it 10% lighter on average than its direct competition. In its standard version, the engine delivers 124 hp at 10,000 rpm and

102 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm; specific power is 133 hp/liter and 85% of the torque is already available at just 3,000 rpm.
The crankcase and lubrication and cooling systems are completely new, while significant changes have been made to the crank gear, ignition – now even more robust – and the gearbox, which is extractable. The timing system flaunts a double overhead camshaft design, and the cams are DLC coated, a feature typical of sports bikes. The engine is liquid-cooled, and the crankshaft is counter-rotating, a technical solution that is unique in its category and for which the MV Agusta three-cylinders have always stood out, ever since the presentation of the first 675 cc model. This translates into vastly improved riding, the reduced inertia facilitating the changes of direction. Vibration has been further reduced with the countershaft, while the hydraulic clutch ensures smooth operation even in extreme riding conditions. The exhaust system is designed and developed to optimize the performance of the 950 engine and intensify the aggressive sound.

Electronics
The LXP Orioli can count on a particularly advanced 6-axis inertial platform, which interfaces with the on-board electronics, comprising the engine control unit complete with high-frequency processor. The Full Ride by Wire is based on torque management strategies, while the available maps – Urban, Touring, Off-Road and Custom All-Terrain – are specifically developed to ensure appropriate delivery and ideal adjustment of the electronic controls in different conditions of use. Traction control, which can be disabled, boasts five levels of intervention for road use, two for off-road use and a Rain mode to guarantee maximum safety even in adverse riding conditions. The engine brake offers two levels, which can be adjusted independently from the selected Riding Mode: level 1 is with reduced engine brake, level 2 is with full engine brake.

As well as ensuring a high level of safety through the turns, the Cornering ABS incorporates RLM (Rear Wheel Lift-Up Mitigation), with a strategy that is unique in its category, as well as other off-road-specific functions, such as the option to deactivate it fully or only at the rear wheel.
The ABS system has also been specifically developed to operate efficiently with both knobby and road tires.

The cutting-edge technology extends to the twist grip that, as with the entire three-cylinder range, is complete with counter rotation. This is important in order to heighten feeling and guarantee the smooth disabling of cruise control. The latter can be set by speed increments or decrements of 1 km/h or 5 km/h at a time. The key management system is fully Keyless.

In terms of its quality and comprehensiveness, the instrumentation is inspired by the world of premium cars, with its extensive options for connection via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the HD resolution of the 7” color TFT panel and its adjustable brightness. There are two graphics to choose between, depending on personal preference. Common to the entire range, the MV Ride app allows the rider to connect a smartphone, set up turn-by-turn navigation, save itineraries and riding data, and share this data with other users in the community. The MV Ride app even allows the user to program their LXP Orioli via smartphone before they start the engine. And the Mobisat anti-theft device with integrated geolocation comes as standard on the LXP Orioli.

Standard equipment aboard the LXP Orioli also includes full LED front and rear lighting for perfect visibility in all conditions. To further improve the user experience, the handlebar controls are backlit with LED lights.

Chassis
The LXP Orioli flaunts the iconic perimeter frame, produced in an alloy that is lighter thanks to the optimization of thicknesses, with removable rear sub-frame. The closed double cradle design with optimized stiffness values offers the ideal balance in different situations, whether this is two-up road touring or pure off-roading. The aluminum alloy swing-arm is chill-cast. The Sachs fork is fully adjustable in compression, rebound, and spring preload, for wheel travel of 210 mm, while the adjustable Sachs mono shock guarantees travel of 210 mm and is connected to the suspension with a progressive link system.

The seat is height-adjustable according to two positions (850 mm and 870 mm), adapting to different contexts and riders. Both the form and material of the padding have been developed to ensure comfort and support, on and off-road. Thanks to advanced manufacturing techniques, the external cover guarantees comfort, durability, and impermeability in the most extreme riding conditions.

A good 230 mm of ground clearance helps the rider tackle the hidden dangers of off-road riding. The wheelbase is 1,610 mm, while the wheel diameters are typical of an enduro bike with off-road vocation, 21” at the front and 18” at the rear. The motorcycle is homologated for use with Bridgestone tires, both road and knobby.
The brakes are supplied by Brembo, with Stylema front calipers on 320 mm discs and a two-piston caliper with 265 mm disc at the rear.

Aerodynamic research has allowed for the creation of a ‘calm zone’ around the rider and passenger that protects against any bothersome turbulence, for an even more comfortable journey. Ergonomics were prioritized right from the start with the LXP project, the contact points (footpegs, handlebar and seat) studied to ensure all the comfort the rider and passenger require for long-range travel, even with luggage, and provide the off-road efficiency needed to control the bike in more critical situations, when the rider’s knees help to control the vehicle for example.

Equipment
The LXP Orioli stands out for its crash bars, aluminum engine guard and additional lights, equipment that adds significant value during everyday use, whether on or off-road, while boosting the bike’s overall rally aesthetic. Offering excellent performance on all types of terrain, the LXP Orioli mounts the off-road-inspired Bridgestone Battlax AX41 tires as standard, while the Bridgestone Battlax A41 tires are homologated for pure road use. The tubeless rims, directly derived from the world of hard-enduro, are complete with machined-from-solid hubs. The comprehensive range of standard equipment aboard the LXP Orioli is rounded out with MV Agusta-branded rigid aluminum side cases, which also accentuate the bike’s luxury adventure spirit. With a capacity of 39 l and 32 l (exhaust side), the cases feature the rapid-release and push block systems.
The LXP Orioli comes with a kit containing the homologated titanium exhaust, co-designed and developed by MV Agusta and Termignoni, which is paired with a carbon fiber end cap and heat shield for a total weight saving of more than 4 kg.
Presented in a special box, the kit also contains the motorcycle cover and certificate of authenticity.

Style
The LXP Orioli was born in the historic CRC style center, owned by MV Agusta and based in San Marino, where the best designers in the sector have been creating some of the world’s most beautiful bikes for decades.
The LXP Orioli stands out for its elegant Pearl White colorway that adorns the fairings and front fender, while select details flaunt the colors of the historic sponsor with which Edi Orioli dominated the rallying scene in the 90s.
The central section of the bike is in Carbon-Metallic Black, as is most of the seat, though the white of the fairings makes an appearance on the sides.

The 500 units of the LXP Orioli will start to be delivered to customers starting from the end of first quarter 2024.

MV Ride app
Like all MV Agusta motorcycles, the LXP Orioli incorporates the free MV Ride app, which has been significantly revised and updated to make it even more efficient and advanced in terms of connectivity. It is now possible to enter a destination and view turn-by-turn directions on the color TFT display, while data acquisition is always operational when on the move. The experience begins before the engine is even switched on and can be relived at the end of the journey, enabling the rider to view acceleration, speed, lean angle, and throttle activity data. The user can add to the experience by uploading photos of their day to share with other users of the MV Ride app. The various MV Ride app options include the possibility to customize the vehicle response via the Custom map, which can be renamed as desired and even shared with other users of the ecosystem. It is, for example, possible to create a “Tuscany” map that can then be shared with other motorcyclists, thereby creating a community. Anti-theft geolocation is included free of charge for the first year.

MV Agusta Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata

In the early 1940s, the war was making life very hard for everyone in Italy, starting with everyday activities.

Getting around, for example, was difficult and costly, given an essential absence of public transport. And this is why Domenico Agusta, having taken over the family business in 1927 following the death of his father Giovanni, turned to motorcycles, believing that this might be a way to simplify mobility and guarantee himself and his employees a future at the Officine Aeronautiche Giovanni Agusta.

The first MV Agusta engine came into being in 1943. A 98 cc single-cylinder, it made use of a lubricated two-speed gearbox. Light and compact, it immediately went into production but occupation of the factory, in September 1943, brought all activity to a halt just a few weeks later. The project was shelved until just after the war when, the hostilities over, assembly of the complete motorcycle could resume. On its debut, the MV 98 was ‘dressed’ in an elegant shade of burgundy.

It is difficult to imagine the reasons behind such an unusual colour choice – perhaps relating to Giovanni Agusta’s aristocratic roots, that his son wanted to honour, or simply a flash of inspiration, a matter of personal taste. The burgundy colour scheme nevertheless added a significant touch of elegance to a motorcycle that was ready to take on the devastated streets of that time.

Today, eighty years after the birth of the first MV Agusta engine, the “98” signature reappears on the fairings of another MV Agusta motorcycle. Produced in just 300 numbered units, the Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata is immediately recognisable thanks to its “Rosso Verghera” colour scheme. Directly inspired by the original colour palette, Rosso Verghera is a sophisticated and very high-quality product, the formula of which was developed at an experimental level in the CRC research centre and then industrialised exclusively for MV Agusta. Applied by hand in multiple phases, the colour comprises a two-component matte base paired with a polished layer for a finish that magnifies the metallic pigments. A tribute to a tale of success, courage, and initiative that could never have been written without the design of the 98 engine, back in 1943.

The “98 Edizione Limitata” signature is positioned laterally on the tail section as well as on the upper part. It is flanked by the Italian flag, which highlights the quintessential “Made in Italy” origins of every MV Agusta, built without exception in the factory in Schiranna, on the banks of Varese Lake. Reference to the size of the historic engine designed in 1943 and the limited-edition status of the motorcycle is also flaunted on the steering plate, thanks to laser engraving technology, and highlighted on the certificate of authenticity, delivered together with the motorcycle.

The racing vocation of the Superveloce has been important ever since the model’s launch and is emphasised on the Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata by way of a dedicated kit. A burgundy-coloured box contains the tail cover, dedicated motorcycle cover, aforementioned certificate of authenticity and two refined parts, or rather the Arrow triple-exit exhaust, for exclusive track use (in North America not included but available as Technical Accessory), and the dedicated racing ECU, perfect for extracting maximum performance from the Italian three-cylinder engine.

The engine in question is the iconic 798 cc inline three. Powerful (147 hp), compact and extremely lightweight, it contributes to keeping the dry weight of the motorcycle down to just 173 kg, or as little as 165 kg with the racing kit. Many technical characteristics ensure that this engine is an example of efficiency and performance, not least the counter-rotating crankshaft, cams with DLC coating to reduce friction and heighten performance, titanium valves, and bearings and rods developed to reduce mechanical losses.

The technical excellence of the Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata is guaranteed by its comprehensive equipment, including spoked wheels with a gold finish, an optimised and more lightweight braking system complete with Brembo PR 16/19 radial master cylinder and M4.30 Stylema front callipers, and the support of the recalibrated Continental MK100 ABS. This, in addition to Ride by Wire that is improved thanks to the negative throttle rotation; the 5.5” colour TFT instrument panel, highly customisable and connected to the smartphone; high-performance Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres, and Mobisat anti-theft satellite positioning system.

Only 300 units of the Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata will be made available, most of which have already been ordered by the brand’s most loyal collectors.

80 Years of The MV 98cc Engine

MV Agusta celebrates 80 years of production of the first 98 engine, the small power unit that set the legend that is MV in motion.

The history of the first MV engine, the 98, is closely tied to the tumultuous but also inspiring events of the post-war period in Italy. The global conflict was long and devastating, and left a country in tatters, with cities razed to the ground, infrastructure compromised, and industrial production on its knees. It was in this scenario, enough to dishearten anybody, that Domenico Agusta set out on the adventure that was Meccanica Verghera, the embryo to the glorious MV Agusta.

Let’s first take a step back, to the war years. By 1943 it was clear that the war would be lost and that the production of airplanes for use during the conflict would soon come to an end. What would become of “Costruzioni Aeronautiche Giovanni Agusta”, the company that Domenico Agusta had taken over in 1927 after its founder, Count Giovanni Agusta, died at 48? Without planes to build, collapse appeared inevitable. What could they do? Producing cars was a first option, but millions of Italians were lacking even the basic resources to live a dignified life and so were clearly not able to purchase what was a luxury item at the time. And motorcycles? Much more affordable, they could represent an interesting emerging market for the aeronautical firm. This was the motivation that pushed Count Agusta to develop an engine that would allow him to explore this business opportunity.

In August 1943, the engine for motorcycle use was ready for mass production, designed and studied in its every detail so that the models needed for the fusion of the individual parts could be created. The decision was to concentrate on an engine that was simple, cheap, reliable and easy to maintain – a 98 cc single-cylinder two-stroke with three-port timing, primary gear transmission, and a single unit engine case integrating both the clutch and transmission assembly in an oil bath. A simple solution that would allow for inexpensive, large-scale production.

In September 1943, however, German troops occupied the Agusta factory, putting a stop to production. All the models and designs of the first 98 engine had fortunately been hidden in the homes and basements of the most trusted technicians and engineers just a few weeks prior to guard against theft by the army.

The designs and models of the 98 engine remained concealed for several months before being retrieved towards the middle of the following year, when production finally resumed. One year on, and the first MV (Meccanica Verghera) branded motorcycle, the MV 98, was born.

With a design that, like those of the first prototypes, was finalized just prior to the invasion, 80 years ago, the 98 engine was the point of departure for a glorious tale of passion, success, performance and style.

Just 98 cc: this was enough to ignite a passion that, over a period of 80 years, has carried the genuine Made in Italy to the top of the world more often than anybody else, has created masterpieces in the form of motorcycles, and has sparked the dreams of so many, across the generations, who share a passion for design, mechanics and beauty.

The MV Agusta distribution network, which is being re-established with the target of opening 180 selected retail stores within the end of 2023, has reached the 100th business partner at the very beginning of July, perfectly on target with the objectives set by the board.

MV Agusta dealerships are being appointed worldwide among the best already-existing MV dealerships, the best selected PIERER Mobility AG retailers and business partners coming from the premium automotive industry.

Enhanced customer care: 4-year warranty and 24/7 roadside assistance
The first half of 2023 saw a crucial milestone for MV Agusta being set: a 4-year factory warranty is now provided on all model year 2023 bikes. Such a strategic decision represents a further step ahead towards the customer-centric approach that the Schiranna-based brand is implementing in every aspect of the business. The 4-year warranty comes not only as a plus to MV Agusta customers, but it is also a clear proof of the trust that the company has in its fully Made-in-Italy motorcycles, and in the processes that each bike goes through before being sent to their customers.

On top of that, allowing owners to focus only on the pleasure of riding their MV Agustas, in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Spain and UK (more countries to follow), MV Agusta provides a service activated lifetime 24/7 roadside assistance included in the purchase of any MV Agusta motorcycle.
Customers, in case of an issue, are looked after through repair on the spot, towing to an authorised MV Agusta dealer/service point, technical assistance, transportation to destination and many other services such as replacement vehicle, repatriation of the vehicle from abroad, accommodation etc.

The icing on the cake: the Dragster RR SCS America
The icing on the cake of the first six months of 2023 for MV Agusta, is represented by the launch of a new exclusive limited edition: The Dragster RR SCS America edition.
Marking the 50th anniversary of the launch of the iconic 750 S, which flaunted the colours of the American flag, this latest 300-units America edition pays homage to a bloodline of red, white and blue MV Agusta motorcycles that have celebrated, in the last five decades, the importance of MV’s most relevant market.

Available only for the North American market, the Dragster RR SCS America, has already generated unbelievable interest.

VIP Customers were, in fact, given the opportunity of previewing the model before the public reveal and, at the moment of the launch, most of the units were already allocated, further proving how MV Agusta is considered as more than just a motorcycle brand by enthusiasts and collectors.

Luca Martin (COO and Board Member – MV Agusta Motor S.p.A.) “With the purchase of an MV Agusta, customers enter a brand that stands for the highest quality and attention to detail combined with the superb customer-centric approach of our renewed dealer network. I am proud of what we have been able to achieve in the first half of 2023, and I must credit the team in Varese for their commitment and for how well everyone has been able to work together with our new partner, PIERER Mobility AG. These initial results are just a taste of what the future of MV Agusta will look like.”

MV Agusta is Back at Fuoriconcorso

MV Agusta is back at Fuoriconcorso the exclusive event celebrating speed and luxury on May 20 and 21, Schiranna’s new Superveloce 1000 and historic 500 cc 4-cylinder MV 72/74 on display at Villa del Grumello at Lake Como.

MV Agusta returns in its distinctively sophisticated style at FuoriConcorso, one of the world’s most exclusive automotive events, which takes place at Lake Como: a celebration of style, craftsmanship, innovation and excellence. This year, MV Agusta will be the only motorcycle brand present at the event offering bike enthusiasts an exclusive preview of the stunning Superveloce 1000, with racing legend Giacomo Agostini sharing personal insights and anecdotes on the past, present and future of MV Agusta.

The exclusive presentation will take place on Saturday May 20th from 10.00 AM to 12.00 AM in the scenic setting of 17th Century Villa del Grumello. Alongside the futuristic lines of the Superveloce 1000, visitors will have the opportunity of admiring the iconic lines of the historic, and incredibly rare, MV Agusta 500cc 4-cylinder 72/74, which will be on display for the entire weekend. The 500 72/74 is considered, with good reason, the mother of all racing bikes, as it inspired the aerodynamic solutions visible today on all MotoGP motorcycles, and it was also the main source of inspiration for the design of the Superveloce 1000.

This year’s FuoriConcorso’s theme focuses on aerodynamic and, therefore, it is not a coincidence that MV Agusta chose to bring the 500 72/74, courtesy of the Elli collection, to the event. Through the display of each exhibiting brand at “FuoriConcorso Aero”, visitors will be immersed in the evolution of automotive aerodynamics, with the opportunity of admiring some of the most iconic vehicles ever designed that contributed to the development and advancement of today’s, as well as tomorrow’s, aerodynamic solutions.

MV Agusta will once again stand out as an icon of unrivalled elegance and as a symbol of speed, cutting-edge technology and style, embodying the idea of an “aristocracy“ of racing that makes every single MV Agusta a shining example of “Motorcycle Art”.
