R&G And Eazi-Grip Announce New Strategic PartnershipHampshire-based R&G and fellow British brand Eazi-Grip are proud to announce a new strategic partnership, beginning with immediate effect.

The new collaboration will see Eazi-Grip’s industry-leading range of products bolstered via R&G’s extensive global distributor network as well as made available to riders, teams, and visitors at British Superbikes through the R&G Technical Centre.

As two of the leading premium aftermarket motorcycle accessory brands in the UK, this new strategic partnership will help strengthen both R&G’s and Eazi-Grip’s offerings even further. The collaboration will see the two work together to prioritise the rapid development of their ranges for the latest machines as they hit the market.

R&G will be stocking and distributing, on an off-the-shelf basis, Eazi-Grip’s market-leading ranges, starting with its ‘Evo’ and ‘Pro’ Tank Grips, which are used and respected globally by top race teams and many thousands of leisure riders, on both road and track. These products will also be made available via R&G’s extensive global network of distributors and dealers, while R&G will also help bolster new releases and marketing campaigns.

With a large presence in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, R&G will also be adding the Eazi-Grip tank grips to the R&G Technical Centre, which features at all eleven rounds of the series, ensuring they are available to all riders, teams, and members of the public who visit.

R&G Unveils Ultimate, Stylish New Pro Engine Case Covers

The incredibly popular R&G Engine Case Cover range has been given a big boost with the all-new PRO range. Offering unmatched style and protection, the covers have been tested extensively throughout the 2023 British Superbike Championship and are FIM eligible parts listed.

With Engine Case Covers being one of R&G’s biggest sellers, the crash protection specialist is excited to be launching its all-new PRO range. This builds on the previously-announced PRO Radiator Guards and marks the Hampshire-based brand’s commitment to offering riders and racers the highest level of protection.

After three highly successful seasons as a Supporting Partner to the growing MotoAmerica series, Hampshire-based crash protection specialist R&G is excited to confirm it will be returning for 2023.

The 2022 MotoAmerica series proved one of the most nail-biting motorcycling championships of the year, with just one point separating eventual champion Jake Gagne and rival Danilo Petrucci going into the final round. Since its launch in 2014, the high-octane series has continued to go from strength to strength, with 2023 set to see the return of five-time Champion Cameron Beaubier.

R&G Teams Up With Guinness World Record Holder Jonny Davies

R&G Renews Partnership With California Superbike School UK

Relaunching last year with a new partnership with Kawasaki UK, the California Superbike School is going even bigger for 2022, announcing more dates across the country.  Crash protection specialist R&G is pleased to announce that it will once again be protecting the school’s fleet of green machines, providing a full range of products to protect the fleet while it’s in transit and also to minimise damage in the event of an accident.

R&G Takes On All-american Approach For 2022

Fresh from announcing it has extended its partnership with MotoAmerica, R&G is continuing its all-American approach for 2022 by partnering with the legendary California Superbike School and popular stunt rider Teach McNeil, supplying a range of its proven crash protection products.
R&G and the California Superbike School have a long and successful partnership together, with the Hampshire-based brand supplying crash protection to both the American and UK arms of the school.
For 2022, that partnership is set to continue, with R&G supplying a full suite of products to the BMWs that the school will be using this year. After a highly successful season last year that saw the Suzuki squad claim the Supersport title, with Sean Dylan Kelly securing 12 victories, R&G will be supplying its gamut of MotoAmerica-approved crash protection for the Team Hammer Superbike, Superstock and Supersport machines.
This season will see 2020 MotoAmerica Supersport Champion Richie Escalante and 2021 Superstock and Superbike Cup Champion Jake Lewis riding in the Superbike class, while Sam Lochoff and Liam Grant will challenge for Supersport honours and Wyatt Farris takes on the Superstock class.

Touratech KTM 890 Adventure engine guard

In the design of the KTM 890 Adventure engine guard, Touratech relies on the synthesis of two different concepts: An ultra-rugged, folded skid plate is complemented by hydroformed aluminium lateral protectors.

The KTM 890 Adventure is currently one of the sportiest adventure bikes on the market. A twin that is even more powerful than its predecessor model with adventure-oriented characteristics, low weight, as well as fully adjustable suspension elements with long working travel, form the basis of this well thought-through concept. Especially the “R” model variant of the 890 Adventure is just begging to be ridden in sporty style through demanding terrain. Touratech has developed a high-quality range of protectors to ensure that off-road use does not result in any injuries.

The heart piece is the Rally Evo engine guard. Touratech has adapted this engine guard, which was completely redesigned for the previous model, to the current KTM 890 Adventure. For the first time, a three-part construction, consisting of a base plate and two lateral tank protectors, has been used for this protector, which is as robust as it is stylish.

Clever synthesis of two concepts
The base plate, also called skid plate in off-road sports, is made of a high-strength aluminium alloy. For its production, Touratech relies on folding technology, proven in tens of thousands of engine guards, which gives the workpiece additional strength due to its bend-resistant edges. All welding is done by robots to ensure the highest precision.

The lateral tank protectors, on the other hand, are manufactured using the hydroforming process. This technology, in which the aluminium sheet is formed in a tool, using extreme water pressure, enables a complex three-dimensional design allowing the aluminium parts to fit closely to the tank and at the same time have an attractive appearance.

All-round protection and maximum compatibility
The “Rally Evo” engine guard for the KTM 890 effectively offers 360-degree protection for this two-cylinder. The extra-long skid plate provides full protection from the manifolds at the front of the engine to the catalytic converter. A stainless steel reinforcement in the rear part provides additional lateral support. Even severe impacts on rock edges and heavy stones are parried by the “Rally Evo” without complaint.

The tank protectors, which are pulled far up at the sides, reliably cover not only the fuel tank itself, but also the fuel pump and fuel taps.

The frontal intake opening has been retained for effective engine cooling, but can be covered with optionally available grilles to protect against stone chips if required.

Neither ground clearance nor operability of the foot levers are restricted, thanks to the “Rally Evo’s” close-to-the-vehicle lines, and combination with Touratech crash bars is also possible.
