Offering the most advanced hand protection ever, the Full Metal 7 gloves, maximise comfort and lightness whilst increasing riding sensitivity for that all-important handlebar control.
Certified to EN 13594 Level 2, the Full Metal 7 gloves are made from goatskin leather combined with aramid fibre lining and stitching to offer supreme comfort and feel. Ultimate MotoGP-level protection can be found in every detail of the gloves with the inclusion of TPU finger sliders and Distortion Control Protection on the little finger – a thermoplastic polyurethane insert positioned at the base of the finger to prevent extra rotation of the finger in the event of a fall. The fingers have an elastic and high-tenacity construction with micro-elastic elasticated inserts.
The Full Metal 7 have been pre-curved for race-riding and there are front and rear holes for increased ventilation. The cuff is adjustable to customise for a perfect fit along with a tightening strap to ensure the gloves stay put and keep the rigid inserts in the correct position. Dainese’s Pro-Hand technology can be found on the external side of the palm to aid protection if sliding to prevent further injury.

For 2024, Dainese is pleased to present several new boots to its range of riding footwear – including the urban, sneaker-style Suburb D-WP, Suburb Air and a new colour to the sporty Nexus 2 boots.
Suburb Air

The new Suburb WP and Suburb Air are certified to CE – Cat. II – EN 13634 Standard, with rigid inserts on the malleolus area and soft D-Foam on the internal side for protection in the areas where it’s needed the most in the event of an accident. There is a gear shifter guard in PU to help with the longevity of the boots too.
The Suburb WP is constructed from suede leather and an abrasion-resistant fabric upper with a waterproof D-WP® interior, ideal for wet days. The Suburb Air has the same great look as the Suburb WP but, as the name would suggest, is perfectly suited to those warmer rides thanks to its highly ventilated construction of a microfibre upper and mesh lining.
To ensure comfort for all-day wear, both the Suburb Air and Suburb WP have an Ortholite® footbed and Groundtrax® outsoles. This technology has been specifically engineered to provide grip, stability and comfort on and off the bike. For ease, there is a bootstrap to help pull on the boots and fastening is achieved through lacing – with an elastic strap to secure the laces.

II – EN 13634 Standard, the Nexus 2 boots feature an Internal AXIAL Distortion Control System, an articulated structure integrated into the boot that serves a triple purpose: protecting against sprains, reducing the intensity of impact by distributing it over the structure‘s entire surface, and stopping objects from entering the boot. Metractive Air
The Metractive Air are inspired by street wear and ideal for on and off the bike. They have a knitted upper material, allowing for high levels of ventilation whilst keeping them lightweight and comfortable even on the hottest of days. Maximum protection is ensured by reinforcements on the ankle. There is also a tongue with a pocket for concealing the laces and keeping them secure and out of the way while riding.
The Metractive Air are equipped with Groundtrax® soles that feature an asymmetrical design for stability and grip thanks to the differentiated gear and brake areas, which resists deformation on impact. The Ortholite® insole guarantees high levels breathability and long-lasting cushioning.

Hekla Absoluteshell™ Pro 20K jacket
Made with 20,000mm waterproof and breathable laminated membrane, the Helka Absoluteshell™ Pro 20k jacket is designed for long trips whether it be on and off road. There is a Polartec Power Air thermal and windproof layer which can be removed and worn separately if desired and there is plenty of ventilation in the sleeves, chest and back, making the jacket perfect for all year-round use. Riders can open and close the back vents with one hand thanks to the design of rear webbing – very similar to scuba suits.
The Hekla Absoluteshell™ Pro 20k jacket is extremely comfortable and functional thanks to the multitude of large waterproof pockets, all of which can be used with one hand. Large ventilation panels can be opened with one hand allowing riders to customise their preferences of air flow depending on the season. There are four large external pockets, offering lots of space for everything needed whilst out riding.

Featuring a removable waterproof lining and thermal layer, which can be worn separately, protect against colder temperatures, while the large ventilation openings on the arms and torso make it suitable even for hotter climates.

There are adjusters on the sleeves, waist, wrist and calf, a drawstring on the bottom of the jacket, adjustable height knee protectors and a jacket and trouser connecting zip. Designed with the flexibility to be worn over or under any outfit and without needing to be connected to the motorcycle, Dainese’s Smart Jacket combines all the power of the latest generation of D-Air® – Dainese’s Airbag System – into the convenience of a vest.
With no need for a back protector, the Smart Jacket can be folded when not in use to be stored in a backpack or even a top box. However, this doesn’t mean riders aren’t protected, with the system offering the equivalent protection as seven back protectors and the Smart Jacket being constructed from abrasion resistant material.
The Dainese D-air® airbag system protects the motorcycle rider’s back and vital parts with its ‘Shield’, the patented airbag with microfilaments that ensure high shock absorption capacity without the need for hardshell protective gear. Its special structure and microfilaments guarantee uniform, controlled inflation, offering the same level of protection over every inch of the jacket. The brain inside the Smart Jacket senses and analyses everything that goes on around the motorcycle rider. It uses its sensors to monitor and process data 1,000 times a second, the complex Dainese-developed algorithm ensures that the Smart Jacket only deploys when needed – in the event of lowsides, highsides, rear-end collisions and in the event of a collision with a stationary vehicle.

Dainese and Replay have signed a five-year licensing agreement to create, together, lifestyle apparel where technology, safety, leather and denim blend to perfection. The collaboration is inaugurated by a co-branded capsule collection featuring motorcycle tech products.
Dainese, world leader in safety wearable technology, has entered into a five-year licensing agreement with Fashion Box, the group that owns the Replay brand.
The agreement will see the creation of various collections featuring lifestyle garments that embody the Dainese brand’s safety heritage, technology and leather crafting.
A co-branded capsule collection comprising a jacket, pants, a vest with Dainese D-air® airbag technology and a T-shirt has been expressly designed to inaugurate the collection. This co-branded capsule blends Dainese’s expertise in researching and developing safety features for technical apparel with Replay’s know-how and experience in premium denim treatments.

The Kevins jacket features concealed protectors for elbows and shoulders boasting Dainese Pro Shape 2.0 technology and conceived especially for riders. Inspired by the auxetic structures present in nature, the jacket offers safety and total freedom of movement. The leather sleeves and Hyper Cordura denim body immediately betray its origins: this is indeed a Replay’s iconic sartorial jacket.
The Eddiel pants combine Dainese’s technology and experience in motorcycle protective denim with Replay’s style, echoing the iconic fit of the Replay’s Zaldock model. They are made of Hyper Cordura with inserts on the knees and elastic ribs in soft Dainese leather. For this co-branded capsule, a new denim fabric, which weaves together Cordura with Hyperflex denim, has made it possible to create technical and certified garments for sports use (AA EN17092-3-2020 and A EN17092-4-2020) that are lighter, more flexible and breathable.
Dainese Smart Jacket | Replay: the most versatile airbag for any road use, with the ultimate Dainese D-air® airbag system is now available in a new version with Denim Hyper Cordura inserts and leather yoke. This jacket offers the protection of the most advanced Dainese D-air® airbag technology used in MotoGP™, in a versatile vest that fits any rider. It does not require connections with the motorcycle. Owing to its independent electronic unit the Smart Jacket recognizes dangerous situations, providing the maximum level of protection possible to riders, equivalent to seven back protectors but without the bulk of a rigid back protector.
Completing the capsule is a black t-shirt with a bold treatment featuring a copper color print.
Copper is indeed the reference color of this capsule, which will be recognizable owing to an external leather label showcasing the two brands’ 3D metal logos with copper finish. A whole series of details such as buttons, zippers, rivets, labels and tags, is again in copper color.

Used by the champions of MotoGP™, D-air® technology has been developed by Dainese with more than twenty-five years of research, in order to achieve the maximum level of versatility, now also for use on the road. Available in versions for men and women, Smart Jacket introduces stationary impact protection for the very first time.
Dainese Smart Jacket is the first airbag vest featuring D-air® technology that can be worn either over or under any jacket or outfit, without requiring any form of connection to the bike. This D-air® protector is worn separately from clothing, can be used riding any bike and on any road, and is available for both men and women. In addition, it is foldable, so it can be placed in a backpack or top box.
Smart Jacket is the result of more than twenty-five years of Dainese research on the D-air® system, and combines in a single garment the ultimate in airbag technology for motorbikes, the same used by MotoGP™ professional riders, with the maximum of versatility and easiness of use.
The “brain” of Smart Jacket is the triggering algorithm. The electronic central unit analyses 1,000 times per second the data transmitted by seven sensors and detects any dangerous situations, activating the system only when necessary. Two decades of development and the millions of data items gathered have enabled an extremely sophisticated algorithm to be created, with the ability to predict an accident, including stationary vehicle collisions.
The Shield is at the heart of the protection provided by Smart Jacket, an airbag featuring Dainese patented technology that, thanks to its exclusive structure with internal microfilaments, guarantees that the inflation is even and controlled throughout the entire surface and creates a shield that envelops the body and delivers protection to the rider. The Shield covers the chest and back, ensuring the same degree of protection as seven Level 1 back protectors, despite not having any form of hardshell protective gear inside: the result is an extremely light and practical garment which, once off the bike, can be easily folded and placed in a bag, a lateral top box or a backpack.
Smart Jacket offers a further fundamental element of versatility and comfort: ventilation. The external fabric of the jacket is ventilated, but the main innovation is found inside: the Shield is in fact folded over on itself, enabling, in normal riding conditions, air to pass through the front part. In case of activation the Shield expands to cover the entire chest guaranteeing the maximum level of protection. Smart Jacket is also designed to be worn in the rain, thanks to the water-repellent fabric and waterproof D-air® technology that have no problem with water.
Smart Jacket inherits the best practical features from the third-generation D-air® Road range, such as the option to have the airbag replaced by an authorised dealer. The long battery life makes this garment even more usable, guaranteeing 26 hours of function and fast recharging time.
Dainese Smart Jacket is available in six sizes, with a version for men and a version for women. It will be in stores from July, and will retail at £569.95
Dainese Exhibits At The 2018 Motor Bike Expo With A Booth Dedicated To The New Dainese Settantadue Brand
The style of historic garments meets latest-generation technology: the Dainese Group’s new brand presents outerwear from its Speed Leather, Archetypes and Demon Flower lines at the Verona event.
Following the success of 2017, Dainese returns to the Motor Bike Expo and presents Dainese Settantadue, the Group’s new brand. Dainese Settantadue resurrects the history of motorcycle clothing in the glory years and gives it a Contemporary Heritage twist, with garments that combine elegance and technical solutions able to satisfy today’s safety requirements.
Art Director Renato Montagner explains the guideline that led to the birth of the new brand: “The main thread of Settantadue lies in its interpretation of Dainese’s origins and 45 years of experience, always at the forefront of innovation. The traditional processing of the leather, the attention paid to details recreated especially for each piece, the integration of Pro-Armor protectors without distorting shapes or equilibriums: a fusion, rather than a revisiting of past garments. Just as history is not only made up of heroes, style does not only belong to champions. This is why we’ve also taken inspiration from the every-day biker, who finds the bike to be a form of expression and keeps the spirit of this passion alive. For example, models like the Toga and the Chiodo were not linked to prominent figures in the past but have always represented a clearly recognisable image”.
The leather jacket is the star of the first Dainese Settantadue collection, a timeless garment that unites generations of motorcycle lovers. Lines include: Archetypes, Speed Leather and Demon Flower. All created with meticulous attention to detail, they are inspired by key stylistic elements from the past. Archetypes focuses on cult products such as the Chiodo, the classic leather jacket much loved by bikers, rockers and travellers in the 60s and 70s. Speed Leather brings jackets like Toga72 and Rapida72 to the attention of the public, jackets that hark back to the racing suits that Dainese produced at the start of its journey. The Demon Flower line presents Patina72, with its unique lining created for Dainese Settantadue by New York artist Othelo Gervacio and enhanced with a hand-finished treatment of the drum-dyed leather.
From 18 to 21 January, the entire collection will be on show in Hall 4, stand 14I.
