Fifth edition of the Ducati Scrambler Days of Joy confirmed

The Days of Joy are back, a full immersion in the Ducati Scrambler world between on and off-road riding, cooking classes, outdoor activities and pure relaxation. The appointments for 2020 are on 4 and 11 July with the Ducati Scrambler Experiences in Tuscany and on 6 September with the Riding School of Vairano.

The Ducati Scrambler Experience in Tuscany, scheduled on the weekends of 4-5 and 11-12 July, is ideal for all those who wish to spend two days of riding on and off road in the middle of nature, tasting good food in a relaxed atmosphere. An adventure on the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled in the Sienese hills, with over 200 km on the first day and more than 150 km on the second. This appointment is coordinated in collaboration with the organizing committee of the Eroica® , a historic cycling race, on whose roads part of the route is mapped out.

On September 6, the Ducati Scrambler Riding School also returns to the Vairano Country House, in the Pavia countryside a stone’s throw from Milan. Fun and teaching come together in the Land of Joy riding courses with the Flat Track School, to learn how to drift on dirt ovals in safety, the Off-Road School riding the Desert Sled and the Scrambler Basic Riding School dedicated to aspiring riders.

Relaxation and fun in the countryside are the other strong points of the Days of Joy, which means an American-style outdoor BBQ, chill area with music, deckchairs and umbrellas, table football, the opportunity to try the entire Ducati Scrambler range and the unmissable Cooking Class between pots and stoves to follow an authentic cooking lesson with a famous Chef.

All activities will be regulated by precise safety protocols, respecting the sanitary regulations necessary to make the events safe from every point of view.
Tour coordination and all courses are managed by Due Ruote instructors. All participants will receive a welcome kit with Scrambler Ducati branded gadgets.

A mid-day checkpoint in the midst of the Tuscany-Romagna Apennines offers up the chance to taste the local cuisine in relaxed Land of Joy style, while the day will end with an awesome beach BBQ at Cesenatico.

The Tuscany Scrambler Experience, instead, scheduled for the weekend of 6 – 7 July, takes participants on a two-day ride over the hills around Siena. This all-round on and off-road experience takes in over 200 km on the first day and more than 150 km on the second. It’s pure riding pleasure, ridden over a route that takes in the Fattoria Pieve in Salti (Siena) where riders can enjoy genuine local food and the relaxed atmosphere that is the hallmark of every Land of Joy event. This experience has been put together in collaboration with the organising committee of the Eroica® classical bicycle race and takes in many of the same stunning roads.

Offering a rewarding mix of fun and learning, the riding courses held at Vairano Country House, in the Pavia countryside not far from Milan, will take place on 2 June and 8 SeptemberFlat Track School participants will learn how to drift around oval dirt tracks safely. Off Road School participants will learn how to handle Off Road Tracks on the Desert Sled. Scrambler Basic Riding School, instead, is for all aspiring motorcyclists looking to learn how to ride properly before they get their license.

Days of Joy, though, also means countryside fun and relaxation. In other words, an all-American outdoor BBQ, a chill-out area with music, loungers and beach umbrellas, a pool table, the opportunity to try out the entire Ducati Scrambler range and a not-to-be-missed Cooking Class where a famous chef will teach participants how to barbecue like a pro.

Tour coordination and all riding courses are managed by instructors from Due Ruote.

Another new aspect of Days of Joy 2019 is that Pirelli will be taking part in the events, highlighting how the successful partnership between these two Italian excellences goes far beyond mere technical collaboration.

Days of Joy, the Ducati Scrambler Experience is back – riding school and fun

The Days of Joy are back with a second edition of the awesome Ducati Scrambler Experience with riding courses and fun. This year’s edition, to be held at the Vairano Country House near Pavia, will take place on 14 May, 18 June, 23 July and 10 September. It will include Flat Track courses with expert instructors and professional riders, a riding school for novices, customised courses for new women riders and test rides on all the bikes in the Ducati Scrambler range. In addition, there’ll be plenty of fun things to do and ways to relax for families and friends with cooking classes, barbecues, a chill area and lots more.
An exclusive new entry is the Off-Road School. Riding courses will in fact be organised at the Vairano off-road track with the brand new Scrambler Desert Sled. The off-road track covers approximately 53,000 sq.m and participants will be accompanied in total safety by expert instructors to have a real Enduro Experience with jumps, sliding and drifting.
The four dates of this year’s Days of Joy also feature:
Flat Track School: to learn drifting techniques on the off-road track in complete safety on board a Scrambler Sixty2 provided by the organisers, or with your own Scrambler. During this course expert instructors will assist participants in gaining experience on various track surfaces starting from basic off-road riding.
Flat Track Pro School: on board a Scrambler Sixty2 in the morning and the Scrambler Flat Track Pro, customised specifically for such dirt tracks, in the afternoon.

Scrambler Test Ride: for all those riders who can’t wait to discover the Ducati Scrambler Experience, at the Days of Joy they can try out the bikes of the new Scrambler range assisted by the local Ducati dealers.
Scrambler maintenance course: a professional team of mechanics will be teaching the art of motorcycle maintenance.
The Days of Joy are also an opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the Ducati Scrambler Land of Joy with family and friends. Once again this year at the Vairano Country House there’ll be cookery lessons with Stefano Caffarri of The Silver Spoon, Italy’s most definitive and influential cookbook, first published in 1950. It’ll be an authentic cookery class with pots and pans, rolling pins and hotplates – a hands-on lesson with the famous chef.
The Days of Joy will also be a chance to relax and have fun in a natural environment, with an open-air barbecue, a chill area with music, free WiFi, deckchairs and beach umbrellas, table-football and ice-cream.
