CFMOTO joins Fowlers line-up

Fast-growing motorcycle brand brings variety and value to Bristol bikers.

CFMOTO is joining the line-up at Fowlers, offering bikers in Bristol and beyond an unrivalled choice of new machines.

A relatively new brand in the UK, CFMOTO is rapidly gaining in popularity, due to the impressive variety of bikes in the range and accessible OTR prices. It will sit alongside 15 other manufacturers currently represented in Fowlers’ central Bristol showrooms.

The growing CFMOTO line-up has something for riders of all tastes. The neo-retro 300CL-X and 700CL-X Heritage, priced at £3,599 and £5,999 respectively, are sure to be a hit with fans of modern classics.

At just £4,499 the super-sharp 649cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected parallel-twin 650NK offers an effortless and engaging naked bike experience, perfect for newer riders looking to step-up.

For those who want to really broaden their horizons, the range-topping 800MT Touring dual sport feels equally at home on a mountain trail as it does on the motorway. Its impressive spec includes a DOHC liquid-cooled 799cc twin-cylinder engine, KYB suspension and Cornering ABS; all this and more available at an OTR price of only £9,199.

A rapidly growing brand, CFMOTO was founded in 1989 and currently employs around 5000 people. The firm sold 127,000 new bikes worldwide in 2021.

It was also the first new manufacturer to enter the Isle of Man TT for over 50 years. In 2016 a WK650i – ridden by TT legend Gary Johnson – finished fourth in the Lightweight class, missing out on a podium by just 2 seconds.

Alongside the choice of new machines for sale, CFMOTO owners can benefit from routine servicing and maintenance in Fowlers’ fully-equipped on-site workshops, with comprehensive spares back-up from Fowlers Parts, the largest stockist of genuine motorcycle parts in the UK.

A huge selection of clothing and accessories are also available, as is the option to refuel and relax in Harry’s Café on the mezzanine above the showroom floor.

BSA is back in Bristol

Classic British motorcycle brand returns to Fowlers.

BSA Motorcycles make a welcome return to Fowlers spectacular city-centre showrooms in Bristol, after a gap of 50+ years.

Fowlers first started selling new BSAs in 1954 and the bikes were so popular that they became a spares distributor in 1959, but that ended when BSA ceased production in 1973.

Following the acquisition of BSA by Classic Legends in 2016, and the launch of the brand-new Gold Star in 2021, production has restarted, and Fowlers has become an official BSA dealer for Bristol once more.

Instantly recognisable as a BSA, the reborn Gold Star inherits the soul of its forerunners and combines it with modern technology, to deliver an authentic and reliable BSA riding experience. This modern classic is powered by a 45hp 650cc single-cylinder engine – a tribute to the original model – and is built using high quality components, such as Brembo brakes, with Continental dual channel ABS and Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres.

The addition of BSA brings the total number of manufacturers represented by Fowlers to sixteen, covering everything from scooters and commuters to superbikes and off-roaders, as well as two 100% electric brands.

Alongside new motorcycles, Fowlers also offers a huge selection of clothing and accessories. Routine servicing and maintenance is provided on site in Fowlers’ well-equipped workshops and visitors can refuel and relax in Harry’s Café on the mezzanine above the showroom floor.

Find out more and book a test ride on the new BSA Gold Star by calling Fowlers on 0117 977 0466 or visit www.fowlers.co.uk

Fowlers voted best for trade spares service

Fowlers has been voted the Wholesaler of the Year by British motorcycle dealers for the second time in three years. Trade magazine British Dealer News, which is distributed to 9,745 people employed in the motorcycle industry, invited readers to vote in the annual poll and presented awards based on the results. Parts & Contact Centre Manager, Pete Aitkenhead, who has worked at Fowlers for 35 years, collected the award from TV presenter Steve Parrish and current MotoGP racer Scott Redding, in front of a packed audience of 350 motorcycle industry personnel at a ceremony held during Motorcycle Expo, the UK’s biggest trade event.

Following an agreement with BSA, Fowlers began distributing motorcycle parts in 1959 and the team of 25 parts advisors working with Pete shares approximately 300 years’ experience. Today, Fowlers is the official UK parts distributor for Yamaha, Piaggio, Vespa, Gilera and Derbi. The company also supplies spares for Honda, Suzuki, KTM, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia and Triumph and carries substantial stocks of Kawasaki parts, plus clothing and accessories for all Piaggio Group brands too.

Fowlers has recently invested in an Electronic Parts Catalogue system [EPC], which trade customers can use to look up parts, check whether they are in stock and place orders. The EPC also highlights low stock, out of stock and discontinued lines.  Trade customers can find out more by calling Fowlers Wholesale on 0117 977 8899 or visiting www.fowlerswholesale.co.uk.
