Husqvarna Motorcycles 2022 Rockstar Editions Aim For The Win

All-new FC 250 Rockstar Edition and FC 450 Rockstar Edition packed with innovations to take riders to the front in motocross competition.

Husqvarna Motorcycles is pleased to announce the 2022 FC 250 Rockstar Edition and FC 450 Rockstar Edition models. All-new engines and chassis give dedicated and competitive motocross riders the perfect machinery to stay ahead of the competition. Class-leading, dynamic performance delivers instantly accessible power, while advanced ergonomics provide hard-charging riders with complete control in every situation.

The FC 250 Rockstar Edition features a punchy DOHC engine, delivering unrivalled power and torque on demand. With a level of performance that takes it straight to the top of its class, the FC 450 Rockstar Edition is powered by an SOHC unit. Both engines are lightweight and positioned in their frames for optimal mass-centralisation, giving Rockstar Edition riders mastery of their machines, even in the toughest events.

A new, multifunctional map switch allows selection between power delivery modes. It also activates the traction and launch control features, as well as engaging Easy Shift for clutchless upshifts of the revised-ratio five-speed gearboxes in both the FC 250 Rockstar Edition and FC 450 Rockstar Edition.

For 2022, the FC 250 Rockstar Edition and FC 450 Rockstar Edition come with a completely revised chassis, featuring a new hydro-formed chromium molybdenum frame designed for improved anti-squat behaviour under power. The new die-cast aluminium swingarm provides optimal rigidity with low weight. A durable, aluminium-polyamide hybrid subframe is designed for specifically calculated rigidity.

Top-level suspension is supplied by WP. At the front, new XACT 48 mm forks with AER technology provide more progressive damping at the end of the stroke, while the latest XACT rear shock design features tool-free adjustment. Along with the new frame and swingarm, the WP suspension provides race-winning handling.

FC 450 Rockstar Edition

New bodywork, proudly adorned with the latest Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing graphics, has specifically tailored ergonomics for ease of movement on the motorcycle. This gives riders total confidence to concentrate on racing. Further enhancing their competition-focused build, each Rockstar Edition is equipped with adjustable offset (20 or 22 mm), split-clamp Factory triple clamps, Factory DID DirtStar wheels with black anodised, machined hubs, a Factory starting device, floating front rotor with polyamide composite front brake disc guard, and polyamide composite skid plate.

The FC 250 Rockstar Edition and FC 450 Rockstar Edition replicate the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing motorcycles competing in AMA Supercross, and place the most competitive machinery in the hands of all motocross racers.

Husqvarna Motorcycles lifts the covers off the highly anticipated Norden 901

Dynamic and versatile travel machine to offer outstanding street and offroad capability for uncompromised exploration.

The Husqvarna Motorcycles Norden 901 finally hits dealer floors. First shown to great acclaim as a concept model at the EICMA Show in 2019, Husqvarna Motorcycles has built true offroad ability into an exceptional adventure travel motorcycle that keeps going when the tarmac roads end.

Inspired by Husqvarna Motorcycles multi-terrain Rally machines, the Norden 901 is built to cover long distances across challenging, diverse landscapes. Fast, fun, nimble and above all capable, this is a motorcycle to make even the longest riding days rewarding, no matter how far the rider chooses to go, on road or off.

The Norden 901 brings a tough yet lightweight approach to the midclass adventure sector. A smooth and torquey 899 cc, 105 hp parallel twin engine powers the Norden 901 while balancer shafts minimise vibration. The engine is housed in a light steel trellis frame, prepared to carry rider, luggage, and passenger to the furthest points of the compass across any terrain, assisted by WP APEX suspension with long travel. Large diameter 21’’ front and 18’’ rear wheels roll easily over obstacles on the trail. For all its exemplary offroad ability, the Norden 901 also offers unrivalled comfort and agility on tarmac.

A rider headed deep into unknown territory needs to know they can rely on their machine in extreme situations. Therefore, the Norden 901 braking system is backed up by switchable Bosch Cornering ABS with Street and Offroad modes. Husqvarna Motorcycles’ lean-angle sensitive Cornering Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) is also there to assist, with particular attention having been paid to its levels of offroad assistance.

Making every journey an adventure beyond the horizon, the Norden 901 offers three selectable ride modes as standard (Street, Rain, Offroad) and an optional Explorer mode to deal with every circumstance the rider might meet. An Easy Shift function allows for clutchless changes up and down the six-speed gearbox while a Power Assist Slipper Clutch (PASC) maintains rear wheel composure.

Revisions to the damping and action of the WP XPLOR forks and XACT rear shock featured across the enduro range let riders make the most of the torque and power of their choice of TE or FE machine. The reworked suspension combines with the chromium-molybdenum steel frame designed to deliver precision flex, progressive bodywork and 2-piece carbon composite subframe to deliver consistent damping, exact handling and peerless rider comfort.

All models come with a new BRAKTEC hydraulic clutch system. Ensuring light action with perfect progression and reliable performance in all conditions, the hydraulic system is also self-adjusting and almost maintenance-free. The Vektorr Concept is the first electric scooter ever produced by Husqvarna Motorcycles and is aimed squarely at the urban commuter who demands a compact, stylish and effective personal transport solution to fit their busy lifestyle. Styled and ridden like a conventional scooter, the Vektorr Concept will deliver a top speed of 45 km/h and offer a range of up to 95 km.

Alongside the E-Pilen Concept, the Vektorr Concept offers a tantalising vision of what Husqvarna Motorcycles’ move into electric urban mobility will look like. Progressive, innovative, stylish and unique, these values will be applied across the E-Mobility range.

The Bltz Concept will also be on display at the exhibition. Husqvarna Motorcycles Enters Electric Mobility With The E-Pilen Concept

One of several zero emissions options in development for urban riders.

Husqvarna Motorcycles is going forward into the future with a zero-emissions product range to broaden the brand’s appeal to existing riders as well as a whole new audience.

Inspired by the pioneering design of the successful Vitpilen and Svartpilen models, the brand offers a tantalising vision of what its future move into electric urban mobility will look like with the E-Pilen Concept.

The current Husqvarna Motorcycles street range is already known for being progressive, smart, dynamic and purely design oriented. These values will continue to be hallmarks of the E-mobility line. The E-Pilen Concept is a clear statement of that intent. With a power output of 8 kW and a range of 100 km the E-Pilen Concept has clearly been developed with the urban commuter and leisure rider in mind, with a range that maximises the time between battery charges.

Husqvarna Motorcycles keeps an open approach to all battery opportunities, aiding the parallel advantage of both fixed and swappable solutions. The E-Pilen Concept features a modular and swappable battery system allowing the power pack to be exchanged, extending the appeal and utility of electric motorcycles to those considering the switch.

It has always been the aim of Husqvarna Motorcycles to develop new products accessible to the broadest possible spectrum of riders. The E-mobility range will retain and continue the riding pleasure and dynamics refined through the long history and experience of the brand. myHusqvarna App – Enhanced Performance And Tuning Capability

Easy to use smartphone app allows precise 4-stroke motocross engine and suspension customisation.

Following the launch of the 2021 motocross range, Husqvarna Motorcycles is pleased to announce the availability of the myHusqvarna app – an easy-to-use smartphone application that grants exact customisation of engine and suspension settings on all 2021 4-stroke and 2020 FC 450 Rockstar Edition models. Ensuring true performance can be tailored to suit individual riders of all abilities, the myHusqvarna app and accompanying bike-mounted Connectivity Unit also allow the management and storage of motorcycle set-up information.

Together with many other features the key highlights of the myHusqvarna app are two main engine modes – Prime and Advanced. These options let riders of all abilities accurately set-up their engine’s performance according to their specific requirements and track conditions.

Combining valuable input from Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing with extensive in-house research and testing, both modes give valuable set-up recommendations to support riders using the application. Additionally, in Prime mode riders have the possibility to adjust the level of traction control interference. The Advanced mode further permits modification of the engine brake, throttle response, traction and launch control, based on personal preferences.

The Suspension feature provides set-up recommendations for personalised and precise improvements. Depending on rider skill level, weight and track conditions the myHusqvarna app offers fork and shock set-up information.

The myHusqvarna app is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store with the bike-mounted Connectivity Unit available as a Husqvarna Motorcycles Technical Accessory.

Main features and benefits:

  • Creation of a virtual Garage where riders can modify, manage and store motorcycle set-up information.
  • The Engine feature allows customisation of engine behaviour, to suit personal rider preferences, while also giving valuable recommendations.
  • Adjustable settings and recommendations of the Engine mapping take terrain and track conditions into consideration.
  • The Suspension feature recommends suspension settings based on skill level and track conditions but also assists the rider in evaluating and setting the correct suspension SAG.
  • The myHusqvarna app is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The all-new myHusqvarna app is available from the respective app stores for Apple iOS and Google Android phones from October onwards. Husqvarna Motorcycles Launches Competition Focused 2021 FS 450

Underlining the brand’s continued commitment to the supermoto segment, Husqvarna Motorcycles is pleased to announce the release of the MY21 FS 450 – the single-cylinder competition supermoto machine that features advanced engineering, class-leading ergonomics and traction control as standard.

Housing a compact 63 hp engine within a lightweight frame and modern bodywork, the FS 450 features revised suspension settings that deliver enhanced handling and damping characteristics for incredible on-track riding experiences.

For 2021, the FS 450 features WP XACT forks with AER technology and a new mid-valve damping system that ensures a more consistent front-end suspension performance. Further enhancing the machine’s manoeuvrability, a new 22 mm diameter front axle and a 7 mm reduction in the base offset of the forks sharpens turning and overall agility. Refinements to the easily adjustable WP XACT shock improve rear-end damping performance with new, low-friction linkage seals delivering a refined suspension response.

Firing into life with a simple press of the electric start button, the FS 450’s SOHC engine provides riders with responsive and usable power, delivered smoothly through the Pankl Racing Systems 5-speed gearbox.

The FS 450’s functional bodywork delivers ergonomics designed for exceptional comfort and is further enhanced by the addition of a high-grip seat cover to improve control in all conditions.

Enabling balanced and powerful braking, a 4 piston radially-mounted Brembo brake caliper and pump work in conjunction with a 310 mm disc to deliver exceptional front wheel stopping performance. A single piston brake caliper and a 220 mm disc are mounted at the rear.

The FS 450 features premium components, including CNC machined triple clamps, Alpina wheels and Bridgestone tyres, a carbon fibre composite subframe and a MAGURA hydraulic clutch, ensuring unrivalled, top-level supermoto performance.
