Hands free and hassle free, the new LS2 4X intercom uses voice-control and Bluetooth® to make staying in touch on the road a breeze.

Co-developed with Cardo, and tailored specially for LS2 Helmets, it features sound by JBL, live intercom for up to four riders, Natural Voice Operation and much more.

A must-have for group rides and touring, the 4X allows live chat with up to four fellow riders at a range of up to 1.2km. Auto-Reconnecting Bluetooth® means if someone separates from the group, they will automatically rejoin when they’re back in range – no stopping at the side of the road and fiddling with buttons to reconnect.

Quick and easy to pair, the 4X will connect with a smartphone and GPS at the same time, so the user can make and receive calls, stream music and hear turn-by-turn directions simultaneously.

Truly hands-free, all this is done without ever having to press a button. Switching and selecting features, and controlling paired devices, can all be carried out with ‘Always On’ Natural Voice Operation; just say “hey Cardo”, tell the 4X what you want, and it will do the rest.

Powerful 40mm high-definition speakers engineered by JBL mean that favourite track, GPS instructions – and those from fellow riders – are all crystal clear. They feature a specially tuned music processor and three distinctive audio profiles.

For complete peace of mind, the 4X is – as you’d expect – fully weatherproof. The battery allows an impressive talk time of 13 hours, and it only takes 2 hours for a full recharge. Plus, if you need a quick top-up while on the road, just 20 minutes of charging provides 2 hours of talk time.

Software updates are also easy. They can either be done Over-the-Air in the Cardo Connect smartphone app, or via computer with the supplied USB type C cable.

LS2 Serra Evo Ladies Jacket

The LS2 Serra Evo Ladies Jacket is an all-purpose jacket ready to take you from the daily commute to a long tour. Suitable for most weather conditions, it is waterproof, breathable and well-fitted. 

The LS2 Serra Evo Ladies jacket is well fitted to a woman’s shape and suitable for a variety of motorcycling rides.

Earlier in the year (June), I had a trip to Norway and this time it was a different style of riding. I knew there would be plenty of off-roading to do and wanted a jacket that would be suitable for any weather without having to stop to adjust anything. LS2 Serra Evo Jacket fitted the requirement. It is waterproof and breathable with vents for warmer days. It also comes with a thermal lining but I was hoping that won’t be necessary (it wasn’t).

What I really like about the jacket is the flattering fit for a lady. With several adjustments available, it really follows the body shape beautifully for a look that is safe and attractive.

100% CARBON SHELL

New LS2 All Terrain Adventure Glove

Flexible, breathable and designed for comfort on highways and byways, LS2’s versatile All Terrain Gloves are a must for adventure-seekers.

LS2 Metropolis 3-Season Jacket

A-rated, three-season textile riding jacket in men’s and women’s sizes

Packed with the tech and spec needed to deal with whatever the journey throws at you, LS2’s new AA-rated Metropolis Evo is the only jacket you’ll need to get you through the riding season.

Built to take you well beyond the city limits, the Metropolis has a tough outer shell, with a fixed waterproof and breathable membrane rated 5000mm for first class protection from the rain, and 3000g/m2/24hrs breathability to stop the build up of perspiration.

A removable thermal liner is on-hand to insulate on colder days, as is a handy waterproof hood that can be attached for use off the bike. When the temperature rises, vents on the arms and back allow an instant cooling airflow.

AA-rated to the EN17092 standard for motorcycle clothing, the Metropolis comes with removable CE Level 1 soft ‘slow bounce’ shoulder and elbow protectors. For extra comfort and improved coverage the position of the elbow protectors in the sleeve can be moved. There’s also the option to fit a CE Level 2-approved back protector (purchased separately for £29.99).

Available in specific men’s and ladies’ cuts, there is adjustment throughout for fine tuning to the wearer’s preferences: poppers on the arms and cuffs and a clever hidden waist adjustment system.

Bell Announces Partnership With The Steve McQueen Estate

Custom 500 Six Day McQueen helmet and limited-edition apparel will launch collaboration.

Bell is proud to announce a partnership with the Steve McQueen Estate to launch a series of helmets and apparel paying homage to the original King of Cool – the first helmet in the series is a Custom 500 Six Day McQueen, a period correct replica of the helmet McQueen wore while competing in the 1964 International Six Day Trial off road race.

McQueen was selected to represent the U.S. along with a group of other American riders, including McQueen’s close friend and desert racing legend Bud Ekins, as the first Americans to participate in the competition. The number 278 Triumph TR6SC, a Barbour waxed-canvas jacket, and McQueen’s Bell helmet have become synonymous with his role in the race and can be seen in hundreds of now famous photos. It’s a style and look that is still emulated more than sixty years later.

“Bell is excited to partner with the McQueen Estate on this iconic helmet,” said Simon Fisher, Category Manager at Bell. “As the first name in helmets, it only makes sense that Bell collaborates with the McQueen Estate on bringing to life the Six Day racing replica. Bell will offer this Steve McQueen replica Custom 500 in a beautiful blue and white paint scheme, with subtle red accents just like the helmet McQueen wore during the competition. “Steve” is written in a playful font on the back of the helmet adding a unique touch along with a period-correct 510 visor. The helmet will also come with a special 278 decal featuring Steve McQueen’s name and the 1964 ISDT details, showcasing its authenticity and significance. A special keychain featuring McQueen’s name will also come with the helmet, which will be shipped in a beautiful black leather helmet bag.

Set up for unpredictable autumn and winter riding conditions, LS2’s new Garra boots combine the features and protection of a winter boot, with the comfort and convenience of ankle-length fit.

Comfort and control
The Garra’s waterproof and breathable lining helps regulate temperature and keep the feet dry and comfortable. The low cut makes it easy to slip riding trousers over the top to seal-out the elements.

Combined with a supple Nubuck leather outer and stretch-fabric lining, the low profile also offers plenty of movement and feel for delicate use of controls; crucial for wet and wintry conditions.

Fresh look for LS2 180° Flip-Front

New graphics for LS2’s dual-homologated 180° flip-front.

LS2’s Advant dual-homologated 180° flip-front helmet gets fresh colour ways for 2023.

The super subtle Matt Silver ‘Special’ and the contemporary ‘Bend’ Matt Black/Red and Black/Blue/Red/White ‘Sport’ graphics – both of which complement many of 2023’s new machines – bring the modular Advant range to a total of nine colour options.

Tested to the latest ECE 22.06 safety standard and certified P/J for use in the open and closed position, the Advant is very versatile and easy to live with.

The opening mechanism is designed to keep the Advant’s outline compact and neat, while making operation simple too. The chin bar sits close to the face, so there’s less leverage on the neck and head when opening and closing, and the visor automatically lifts with the chin bar, in one one fluid movement.

The visor is Pinlock-ready and an intuitive release mechanism enables swift and smooth removal and refitting.

Comparable to much more expensive high-end composites, the exclusive Kinetic Polymer Alloy shell is strong, flexible and light – the Advant tips the scales at only 1650 grams.

Venting front and back, with channelling through the multi-density EPS inner, brings instant airflow when needed. The breathable Comfort Lining is removable and washable, and the cheek pads feature an Emergency Release System.

Practical additions like the Drop-Down Sun Shield and quick-release Micrometric Metal Buckle make life comfortable on the road too.

Trio of LS2 Challenger Helmet graphics

Developed with LS2’s MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 riders, the Challenger Carbon combines the latest race technology with first class safety and practicality for road riding.

There are three new colour options for 2022;

  1. One of two new ‘Alloy’ graphics combines Solid Carbon, luxurious titanium/chrome overlays and splashes of orange, that are striking in their own right, but would also complement colours found on many bikes.
  2. The sporty White/Blue/Red ‘Alloy’ option looks the part with a wide variety of motorcycles using that colour combination.
  3. ‘Fold’ – the third new graphic – will definitely draw attention, with its eye-catching Hi-Vis Yellow highlights.

In all colour options, the Challenger C’s 100% high-grade wide weave carbon fibre shell offers high penetration resistance and energy dispersion, yet weighs just 1350 grams. As you’d expect, it’s both ACU Gold and ECE 22.05 certified for track and road use.

The shell comes in three outer sizes, for the smallest, lightest possible helmet in each fitment range, and has a long-oval shape to follow the natural contour of the head.

A quick-release, wide aperture visor comes with a Pinlock Max Vision Anti Fog System as standard and there’s a flip-down internal sun visor too.

Dynamic Flow-through Ventilation keeps the wearer cool and comfortable, while the breathable, hypoallergenic liner comes with Emergency Release System cheek pads.
