MV Ride APP

MV Ride is the app that marks the debut of MV Agusta in the world of digital services, and is already available for free download in the Apple App Store  https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mv-ride/id1504474890. MV Ride App helps users make the most of the potential for personalisation of MV Agusta bikes, starting from the 1000 RR and the Brutale 1000 RR Serie Oro.

Initially available in two languages, English and Italian (with a view to quickly expand the choice to the main languages used by MV Agusta clients around the world) the app is divided into three main sections: My bike, Itineraries, Trips.

My bike allows users to access specific data, such as the battery charge and fuel level, through Bluetooth. Also, every detail of the bike can be personalised through MV Ride from the “engine”, “suspensions” and “safety” menus. For instance, one can change the setup of the Öhlins EC electronic suspension in just a few clicks directly from a smartphone; the same goes with the fork, the rear suspension and the steering damper setup. Traction control and ABS can also both be adjusted from the app, as well as the custom map in the MVICS 2.0 platform. The user can save up to 10 favourite configurations for the engine, suspensions and safety features, which can be recalled at the touch of a finger.

The second section of the MV Ride app, Itineraries, is based on the HERE location platform, the most authoritative and complete in automotive, preferred by major automakers for its precision and constant updating. The user can easily visualise all the itineraries on the smartphone screen and follow the turn-by-turn navigation on the large, second generation TFT colour screen of the bike. The level of detail is very high as to make navigation easier and more immediate, without diverting the rider’s attention from the road.

The Itineraries section also allows for the saving and sharing of itineraries for future use, with the possibility to receive them from other MV Ride users for group trips.

Trips can collect all the riding data from recent trips. Lean angles, gear shifts, throttle and other data are recorded and associated to the specific trip. Pictures taken during that trip can also be added to complement the information, and then shared through the app. A unique way of preserving a memorable experience with a wealth of technical details enriched by foto and video contents.

Brian Gillen, R&D Director MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. said: “MV Agusta is focused on growing our family while at the same time bringing them together through our new connectivity platform, MV Ride. This new platform will allow all the users to have a new level of connection with their motorcycle and, more importantly, it will allow the entire MV Agusta community to interact and share their traveling routes and experiences with each other. This is only the beginning of a new future as this flexible App platform will continue to grow and evolve with future releases.”

“This project opens a new scenario for MV Agusta motorbikes, which will now have a virtual twin that connects with the rider’s network, thereby creating a new channel of interactions and services. This is an important step towards the development of onlife experiences in the world of mobility” says Margherita Colleoni, Head of Design at e-Novia. “As e-Novia, we have been  supporting MV Agusta in the project with our team of experts in the development of interactions systems in the field of vehicular robotisation.”

“HERE Technologies is proud to have MV Agusta as a premium Customer for the HERE SDK. Having integrated our navigation solution in the customer application, MV Agusta has unlocked the world of location intelligence and enhanced their rider experience with various pre-trip and on-the go functionalities. MV Agusta is leading the way when it comes to offering its customers a connected experience. We are thrilled to be part of an ecosystem that makes bike riding more intelligent than ever”, stated  Anssi Sarimaaki, Senior Director Product Management Mobile SDK.

MV Ride App will be compatible will all Euro5 models. It is already compatible with MV Agusta models equipped with second generation 5,5” TFT screens:

A free extra-year warranty with MV Agusta’s “Ride 4 Long” promotion

A free extra-year warranty with MV Agusta’s “Ride 4 Long” promotion the extended warranty applies to MV Agusta motorcycles bought during the month of June, and comes on top of the 3 years standard coverage

MV Agusta is launching “Ride 4 Long”, a promotion programme aimed at customers buying a new MV Agusta motorcycle during the month of June 2020. The promotion applies to the whole MV Agusta model range in stock, with the exception of the Rosso and the SCS series as well as the Superveloce 800 and the Brutale 1000 RR, through participating dealers worldwide.

Instead of the 3-year standard warranty period, customers buying their new MV Agusta motorcycle by the end of June 2020 will enjoy 4 years of coverage and extended customer support.

“This is another important step in our journey to broaden our customer base and enlarge the MV Agusta family worldwide” commented Raffaele Giusta, Global Sales Director, MV Agusta MotorS.p.A. “June is the perfect month for epic, memorable rides in complete freedom, and it is now also more convenient for new buyers. We are glad to offer the security of an extended warranty coverage so that our customers can fully enjoy their ride with complete peace of mind for the next 4 years.”

Production of MV Agusta Rush 1000 to start in June

The limited edition hyper naked will be produced in only 300 units.

MV Agusta will be starting the production of its Rush 1000 “drag strip-inspired” bike in June this year. The first bikes will be rolling out of the Lake Varese hangars towards the end of the same month, ready for the privileged owners who pre-ordered their Rush 1000 online and through MV Agusta’s worldwide dealers network.

The mean looking Rush 1000, with its 4-inline-cylinder engine, 208 HP (212 HP with the Racing Kit) and a top speed of over 300 km/h, is a model aimed at those who do not fear to stand out from the crowd, as the style and components are appropriately focused on emphasizing the concept of a hyper naked “beast”. The aerodynamic rear wheel cover, a technical solution used in drag races to reduce the coefficient of drag, represents a clear statement of this attitude.

All of MV Agusta’s engineering know-how is packed into the Rush 1000 and draws on Formula1 and MotoGP technology, offering a thrilling out-of-this-world riding experience, with hair-raising true MotoGP replica performance. The 8-level traction control and “launch control” systems help managing the bike’s beastly acceleration and rocket-like starts. Together with the EAS 2.1 Up & Down for clutch-free changes and the wheelie control system, they contribute to making the Rush 1000 easy and fun to handle with maximum safety. The Rush personality is further enhanced by the Öhlins EC suspension units with electronic control and the aluminum and steel trellis frame, both adopted from the Brutale 1000 RR along with the Brembo Stylema calipers and the Bosch 9 Plus Race ABS.

The design of the Rush 1000 lives up to everything one would expect from an MV Agusta limited series, starting from the many unique details such as the specially designed headlight unit, spoke front wheel, the minimalist rear subframe and passenger seat as well as the unique side exit exhausts. The livery of the MV Agusta Rush 1000 is a pure  statement of style and elegance, with dark metallic matt grey, Mamba red matt carbon and metallic bronze.

The optional Rush Racing Kit is composed of an extremely light weight titanium dual exhaust silencer system with a dedicated carbon fiber cover with billet CNC machined inserts as well as a engine ECU with a specifically developed engine control system map to increase and optimize the power. Also included is a unique carbon fiber passenger seat cover.

Timur Sardarov, CEO of MV Agusta Motors S.p.A. commented: “With the production of the Rush 1000 starting this coming June, we are right on track with respect to our 5 year industrial plan announced a few weeks ago. As we are breaking new ground in our expansion journey into new segments and new markets, MV Agusta will continue to produce amazing works of exclusive motorcycle art from its headquarters in Italy, remaining true to its heritage of performance, elegance and state-of-the art technology. I am sure this incredibly attractive model will meet the enthusiasm of the proud new owners.”

MV Agusta Superveloce 800

MV Agusta Superveloce 800 liveries re-defined for the neo-retro superbike following feedback from MV Agusta fans around the world.

MV Agusta is announcing two new colour schemes for its much acclaimed neo-retro superbike, the Superveloce 800. The success of the bike, translated into unprecedented requests, marks the restart of production at the Varese historic headquarters after lockdown. It also warranted re-evaluation in terms of aesthetic choices, allowing customers to choose from a variety of eye-catching, stylish liveries. To select the most attractive combinations, MV Agusta designers listened to its biggest critic: MV Agusta’s fans.

Adrian Morton, Design Director at MV Agusta’s Research Center CRC, confirms this customer-oriented approach: “Following the presentation of the Superveloce 800 in Milano, we took on board feedback from both the public and importers and decided to create two colour schemes, both with a gold-finish frame, that accentuate the neo-retro theme, highlight the curvaceous styling and align the models to our brand values.”

The first colour variant implies MV Agusta classic corporate colours, Ago Red and Ago Silver, relating to the first racing motorcycles developed by MV Agusta that dominated the Gran Prix racing scene for years. The gold wheels and frame details are inspired by the thoroughbred Italian racing machines from the past to create a rich distinctive, personalised feel far beyond the average production of motorcycle.

The second colour variant is Metallic Carbon Black and Dark Metallic Matt Grey with co-ordinated gold detailing on both the wheels and frame. This combination of colours provides a sophisticated sober feel, synonymous with the Formula1 racing of the 70’s providing a rich yet restrained alternative to the Corporate MV Agusta colours.

This move aims at further growing the MV Agusta riders family around the world.

MV Agusta extends warranty on all its bikes

MV Agusta extends warranty on all its bikes, owners will receive a bonus 3 months extension to make up for the time they were unable to enjoy their bikes because of Covid-19 lockdown

With production activities now gradually and fully resuming, MV Agusta announced a 3 months bonus extension on all its models and on all its bikes presently covered by warranty. Because of the Coronavirus crisis and the resulting lockdown enforced in almost every country, owners around the world have been prevented from actually using their bikes. A necessary halt to stop the spreading of the virus, but also a period of time during which warranty coverage has had very little use. An idle time MV Agusta has decided to give back to its customers.

MV Agusta ready for “Phase 2” lockdown easing

After MV Agusta announced a temporary halt in its production activities on March 26, it is now ready to gradually return to “business as usual”, or rather to “new normality” as the current COVID-19 pandemic has radically changed the way we will work and live from now on. Looking at the future, even before total lockdown was announced, MV Agusta’s management had already taken the necessary steps to gear up to a new safety culture, re-designing internal procedures and implementing measures to continue production and office work with maximum safety. It took the further opportunity of this temporary total time-out to perform a new sanitisation of all workspaces and refine its work processes.

MV Agusta will be producing a limited edition Dragster 800 RR entirely dedicated to TheArsenale, one of the world’s most exclusive online retail concepts. TheArsenale’s unique offer ranges from jet planes to motorbikes, to accessories and luxury apparel.

Giacomo Agostini, MV Agusta’s Racing Legend, Now Has His Own Museum

Celebrating an unrivalled sporting career in the champion’s hometown of Bergamo.

15 World Championships titles, 123 Grand Prix victories, 18 Italian Championships titles, 10 Tourist Trophies’ wins for a total of 311 victorious races: these are the impressive numbers of Giacomo Agostini’s racing career, which extended from the early 60’s to the late 70’s, and most of which was spent under the MV Agusta colours. This unprecedented heritage now has a museum to preserve it and share it with MV Agusta enthusiasts and motorcycling fans from all over the world. It is located in medieval Bergamo, Giacomo Agostini’s hometown, nested between the Po plain and the Alps, a stone’s throw from Milan.

The museum was designed as a private trophy room by architect Michele Giavarini for the champion to keep his more than 350 trophies, with the idea of also opening it to the public. The museum hosts some of the historic bikes used by Agostini, as well as helmets, race suits and personal objects, displayed in a chronological order. On the inox-concrete floor, a giant no.1, black on yellow, the number Agostini raced with, and the word “Ago” painted in bright red, his nom de guerre, remind everyone that Giacomo Agostini’s record number of victories and championships titles is yet unequalled.

Giacomo Agostini commented: “The history of my life is all there in this one room, and being able to spend some time there alone with my thoughts, going back to those extraordinary memories, fills me with joy.”

Timur Sardarov, CEO MV Agusta, said: “The partnership between our brand and Giacomo Agostini is part of the glorious history of this company, and we are glad that a man who contributed so much to the legend of MV Agusta is now being rightly celebrated with this museum.”

The museum is private and can be visited by groups (8 people minimum) upon reservation through Villa Vittoria Charme and Relax luxury bed & breakfast. The resort is managed by Agostini’s daughter Vittoria, and offers a complete package including one-night accommodation, visit to the museum and dinner with the champion. MV Agusta Presents The New 2020 Model Range

Brutale 800

Quality, technology, performance. But also quick delivery of spare parts and professional service. There’s more: expansion and improvement of the dealers network to offer clients timely, impeccable assistance. These are the short-term guidelines for MV Agusta, which has just set off on a growth path clearly envisioned by its CEO, Timur Sardarov.

To mark the company’s determination in pursuing the 2020 objectives, production of the Brutale 1000 RR, the four-cylinder naked Superbike replica, has started in Schiranna. 208 hp maximum power, advanced chassis and suspension as well as leading-edge aerodynamic solutions all make the four-cylinder Brutale a defining example of MV Agusta’s excellence in motorcycle manufacturing. As core priorities of the brand, these values are reinforced today by the attention and the investments in Research and Development.

From the production line to dealers showrooms: Superveloce 800 Serie Oro and Superveloce 800 bring MV Agusta’s timeless fascination to the roads, with their intoxicating curves, classic and contemporary at the same time. The engine and the chassis are the pinnacle of engineering that position the Superveloce 800 among the most fascinating and dynamic sports bikes on the scene.

Beauty and functionality, exciting and confidence-inspiring riding: Dragster 800 RR SCS and Brutale 800 RR SCS both feature the revolutionary SCS 2.0 (Smart Clutch System) for clutch-free starts and stopping. A technical innovation that allows to stop and restart without touching the clutch lever, making the most out of the in-line three-cylinder engine mated to a counter-rotating crankshaft. All of this with only 36g weight increase compared to a traditional clutch.

The magic and technology of MV Agusta, at a competitive price. Thanks to the rationalisation of the production process and to efficiencies gained in the engineering phase, MV Agusta proudly presents its new Rosso Range, made up of Brutale 800, Dragster 800 and Turismo Veloce 800. The Rosso Range models stand out for their bright red livery and their comprehensive outfitting, despite a price tag that is lower than that of the models they derive from.

Vision, futuristic technology, and the pursuit of a dream: these are the values behind the creation of a new Concept Bike that will be revealed at EICMA as world premiere and which production is due to start in the coming months. The irreverent spirit of American drag races was the inspiration for a project that elevates the performance of the bike it derives from in the most daring of interpretations.

Turismo Veloce 800
Superveloce Serie Oro

MV Agusta’s Brutale 1000 Serie Oro And Superveloce 800 Serie Oro Sold-Out

MV Agusta’s Brutale 1000 Serie Oro And Superveloce 800 Serie Oro Limited Series Sold-Out Only Days After Launch.

Fans and collectors have been pre-ordering the bikes through the manufacturer’s digital platforms.

MV Agusta announces that the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro and the Superveloce 800 Serie Oro, both to be produced in a 300 units limited series, were sold out only days after launching a pre-order campaign through the company’s social media platforms. The first deliveries of the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro are expected by November 2019 while the Superveloce 800 will arrive in March 2020.

When first presented at EICMA in November 2018, the Superveloce 800 Serie Oro had been deemed “the most desirable and anticipated bike of 2020”, whilst the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro was acclaimed as “most beautiful bike of the show”. Requests for the bikes started raining in at Schiranna’s MV Agusta headquarters, and only a few days after pre-orders officially opened they were sold out.

The Brutale 1000 Serie Oro is possibly the meanest and most aggressive looking naked ever. It is certainly the most powerful 1000 cc naked bike ever produced, with its 208 HP, 4 cylinder engine intimately related to the F4 RC racing superbike. It is capable of reaching top speeds of over 300 Km/h

The Superveloce 800 Serie Oro has a decidedly classic look, reminiscent of MV Agusta’s glorious legacy. But beyond the attractive yesteryear’s looks, It features a steel trellis chassis, a 148 HP inline-3 cylinder 799 cc engine with a counter-rotating crankshaft coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and an iconic triple-exit exhaust system. The Superveloce 800 also includes a number of advanced technologies, including a TFT dashboard as well as state of the art engine and vehicle control electronics incorporating ride-by-wire, multi-maps and traction control.

Timur Sardarov, CEO of MV Agusta, said: “We are delighted with the success of these two launches. It proves that we are on the right path to continue in MV Agusta’s glorious tradition  of constant innovation, breathtaking performance and superb design. 600 passionate riders from all over the world have shown their unfaltering appreciation for our iconic brand and our unique motorcycles.  We shall do everything in our power to make them proud of owning an exclusive piece of true motorcycle art”.

Mv Agusta’s Superveloce 800 Concept To Go Into Production

EICMA’S 2018 “Queen of the Show” first production models will be rolling out of the hangars of the Schiranna factory in 2020, a dream come true for many MV Agusta fans and collectors

MV Agusta announces it will soon start the production of the Superveloce 800 concept bike presented last November at EICMA. Delivery of the first 300 units series of “Superveloce 800 Serie Oro” is expected in March 2020.

Deemed “the most desirable and anticipated bike of 2020”, the Superveloce 800 Serie Oro will be exactly the same as the concept presented at EICMA last November. A combination of 1970’s flair and modern-day state-of-the-art technology, the Superveloce 800 literally stole the show and requests for a production version started raining in at Schiranna.

Many iconic details of the Superveloce 800 are reminiscent of MV Agusta’s glorious legacy, utilising a steel trellis chassis, a 148 HP inline-3 cylinder 799 cc engine with a counter-rotating crankshaft coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and an iconic triple-exit exhaust system. The Superveloce 800 also includes a number of advanced technologies, including a TFT dashboard as well as state of the art engine and vehicle control electronics incorporating Ride-by-Wire, multi-maps and traction control.

Timur Sardarov, CEO of MV Agusta, commented: “This is one of the meanest and most stylish bikes we’ve ever produced. It certainly lives up to MV Agusta’s heritage of craftsmanship, design and technology. From the moment it went on display at EICMA last November, we knew we had an instant classic.”

For the first time MV Agusta is offering potential customers the possibility to pre-order their dream bike online through a dedicated section of the official web site at www.mvagusta.com/superveloce-800-serie-oro

The launch of the Superveloce 800 Serie Oro will be accompanied by an exclusive merchandising line that will include backpacks, jackets and helmets and many other quality items.
