Knox Handroid MK5 Launch

The long-awaited long cuff Handroid Mk5 has arrived and it’s moved up another gear!

Due to its innovative futuristic look the award winning Handroid glove is the most striking design of motorcycle glove ever made.  The design includes features such as the Scaphoid Protection System as well as the eye catching exo skeleton finger spines, which cover the tops of the fingers for impact protection as well as a unique Boa closing system which always ensures a perfect and secure fit.

The new Handroid Mk5 is visually exciting with a contemporary printed hexagon leather design, as well as 3 striking colours, including the ever popular All Black.

There are major functional improvements too.  For the first time the Handroid loses its twin wrist cuff and is replaced with a sleek single sided polished LDPE wrist cuff to give improved strength, abrasion and impact resistance with Micro-Lock impact protection encapsulated inside.  This low profile new wrist system also improves dexterity and flexibility on the controls as well as being more comfortable.

A new BOA wrist closure system has a micro adjustable BOA dial that, for the first time, tightens and loosens, so riders can fine tune their glove for the perfect fit. The Boa wrist closure system is a patented system.  The collaboration with Boa is exclusive to the Knox brand.

The patented Knox Scaphoid Protection System (SPS) includes Micro-Lock under the pads for added impact absorption and this extends around the edge of the hand for maximum coverage.

The finest, ethically sourced 0.8mm Kangaroo is used on the palm. The strength and feel offered by this hide is exceptional.

The rest of the glove is made from drum dyed Cowhide.

Knox Waterproof Shells – The MK2 Collection

It’s easy to get caught out in a downpour at any time of year. Having a Knox Waterproof shell means you can repel the driving rain or wind. They have been designed to fit neatly over any Knox armoured shirt or trouser. Made from a new high-performance tri-laminate polyester with a 15K waterproof and breathable membrane. All seams are taped and sealed to keep water and wind out. By using Knox waterproof laminated outer layers, we ensure that the water stays on the outside and that once it stops raining you can simply shake them off and pack them away into their own bag.

Welbeck MK2 Waterproof Shell for Men
The new Welbeck Mk2 Waterproof jacket for men has been restyled and the performance improved by 50%, so riders can face the harshest of biking weather.  A single-layer fully seam sealed jacket, that is designed to be worn over other Knox layers to make a watertight outfit in the Seasonless Collection.  The base tri-laminate fabric has been re-engineered to include a 15k waterproof membrane with reflective panels, improving performance, durability, and visibility.

An adjustable drawcord at the base of the jacket and durable cuff fastenings ensure a secure fit against the weather.  A new concealed hood with drawcord adjustment folds neatly away into the zipped collar, so the jacket can be used for riding or casually.  2 Interior stay-dry pockets, 1 mesh, and 1 zipped security pocket.   The jacket packs away into its own bag for easy storage.  8 sizes – S – 5XL.

The new Walker MK2 Waterproof unisex trousers have been recut for an improved fit and the performance improved by 50%, so riders can face the harshest of biking weather.  A single-layer trouser, fully seam-sealed with an elasticated waist, designed to be worn over other Knox trousers to make a watertight outfit in the Seasonless Collection.   The base tri-laminate fabric has been re-engineered to include a 15k waterproof membrane with reflective panels, improving performance, durability, and visibility.  Durable but lightweight waterproof trousers.

There is no spring/summer/autumn/winter wear, this is adaption to climate and condition via seasonless equipment. Equipment that is designed to work perfectly together, as one or separately giving them year-round ability.

The New Knox Urbane Pro MK3

NO JACKET REQUIRED

Designed to be worn on its own with No Jacket Required, the Urbane Pro Mk3 is the ultimate impact and abrasion resistant motorcycle armoured shirt.

A Class AA CE approved protective garment for all riders, no matter what motorcycle or terrain they ride.

Worn close to the body, the armour won’t move around so it’s always where you need it, when you need it. The most versatile, lightweight, breathable and comfortable armoured shirt for riding in the heat. When the weather turns cold or wet, simply add Knox Seasonless Layers so you can continue to use it all year round.

The Mk3 has even more performance and is packed with extra features and pockets. It is fitted with thinner, lighter and more flexible Level 2 Micro-Lock Compact in the back, shoulders and elbows.

CE approved as a standalone “Class AA” garment with approved abrasion resistance built in, meaning an outer shell is no longer necessary unless you want to wear one.

The MK3 design aesthetic has been refined but the abrasion resistance, superior stretch comfort, light weight and breathability remain intact. The pocket layout has practical zipped pockets on the front with a visor wipe and an internal chest phone pocket, with additional pocket for storing ear plugs. Improved internal pocket options. The neck and cuffs have a new soft, comfortable binding. A front placket with embossed branding for an extra feel of luxury and comfort on the neck. New innovative reflective piping and security belt loops.

In changing weather conditions just add warm or waterproof layers, knowing that the Urbane Pro Mk3 is still the CORE abrasion and armour layer beneath. The Urbane Pro Mk3 has been designed to work seamlessly with all styles in the Knox Seasonless Collection.
