Find It Fix It Drive It – Ep 4 & 5

Two new episodes of Find It Fix It Drive It, from the team behind Shed & Buried and The Motorbike Show, will be shown on More4 at 9pm on April 17th and 24th.

The 10-part series follows classic vehicle obsessed TV presenter Henry Cole and his best mate, the engineering genius Sam Lovegrove, as they set out on a mission to ride, drive and compete in some of the craziest challenges they have on their bucket lists.

In Episode 4 (Wednesday 17th April) Henry and Sam need classic race transportation for a vintage land speed record attempt on Henry’s supercharged classic Triumph. So they’ve bought a 1968 Morris ambulance to restore and transform into the quintessential vintage race transporter. To complement the total ground-up restoration they also need to deck it out with vintage tools and equipment, before they drive it up to Elvington in Yorkshire for a white-knuckle attempt at that land speed record.

In Episode 5 (Wednesday 24th April) Henry and Sam bring a slice of the American Dream to Find It Fix It Drive It. They hunt for a classic American pick-up truck that Henry wants to use as a daily driver. Along the way Henry delves into the history of the pick-up wagon and takes a drive in an original Model T Ford, before restoring his own truck with a custom “rat rod” finish.

For laughs, tears, classic vehicles, restoration and a couple of old friends taking on endeavours they should know better than to be involved in, tune in to watch Find It Fix It Drive It on More4, Wednesdays at 9pm.

Shed And Buried Best Bits

Motorcycle mad Henry Cole and ace mechanic Sam Lovegrove return to the screen to look back at their favourite moments from the past two series of Shed & Buried, scavenging around Britain’s sheds.

In the first six episodes, Henry and Sam remember their trip to a large, old house in the depths of Devon’s countryside, piled high with cars and bikes and their visit to Peter Bullen, a trials car enthusiast, who had the most eclectic set of sheds they’d encountered so far. Then there was Brian, whose Cornish cottage was like a transport museum, and Eamon’s place in Oxfordshire, where they landed on a fabulous collection of motoring memorabilia and stationary engines. The pair also recall visiting Chris Rix down in East Sussex with a view to making a handsome profit on some of his American Iron and Paul Kelling’s barn in Suffolk, packed full of Porsche tractors and Ducati bikes.

See Shed & Buried Best Bits on The Travel Channel (Freeview 42), starting with episodes 1-4 in a bank holiday bonanza from 7 PM on 28th May, followed by 5 and 6 from 8 PM on 12th June. For more information visit the Travel Channel website at www.travelchannel.co.uk/shows/shed-and-buried
