Euro5 GSX-R125 and GSX-S125 announced

Suzuki has pulled the covers off its Euro5 GSX-R and GSX-S125 machines, with the new learner-friendly models available in dealerships next summer.

In 2022 the GSX-R125 – which has become the weapon of choice in the Freetech 125 Endurance Championship having won the title two seasons in a row – is available in the signature MotoGP blue with the bold, white SUZUKI graphic adorning the fairing, as well as a black and grey take on the trademark design, offset by red wheels.

The GSX-S125, which uses the same DOHC, free-revving single-cylinder engine as its fully-faired sibling, comes in a blue, black and silver, as well as a more subtle black and grey. A more eye-catching white and black with red decals and red wheels completes the set.

Both machines use a compact LCD dash and get Suzuki’s easy-start system. The GSX-R125 also features a keyless ignition system.

Pricing to be confirmed.

Suzuki extends 0% finance offer on GSX-R range

Suzuki has extended its 0% finance offer on the award-winning and race-proven GSX-R1000R plus the entry-level GSX-R125, with the deal now available until the end of September 2019. There’s also a new £250 Suzuki deposit contribution on the GSX-R125.
Available with a minimum deposit of £1,000 on the range-topping GSX-R1000R, customers can ensure they’re choosing a deal that best suits their personal circumstances, and opt for either a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) or Hire Purchase (HP) agreement.
The extension means the race-winning machine is available for just £149 per month on a PCP deal over 37 months, with a deposit or trade-in of £2,915. On HP it can be ridden away for £381.39 per month over the same period, with no final balloon payment.
Suzuki’s 0% offer also extends to the learner-friendly GSX-R125, which is available with a minimum deposit of £750 on HP, £250 of which comes as a Suzuki deposit contribution, meaning buyers need only find £500. As a result, the sporty 125 can be enjoyed for just £100.67 per month over three years.
The GSX-R1000R uses a host of MotoGP-derived technology, from a clever variable valve timing system that allows it to produce both impressive low-down torque and top-end power, to a comprehensive suite of performance-boosting electronics that includes an IMU-governed, 10-mode traction control system, launch control, quickshifter and auto-blipper, and cornering ABS.
The GSX-R125 set new benchmarks when it was launched in 2017, coming into the 125 sports bike market with the best power-to-weight ratio. It boasts an LCD dash, LED lighting, keyless ignition, and Suzuki’s easy-start system.

GSX-R125 joins GSX-R1000R on Suzuki 0% finance deal

The GSX-R125 has joined the range-topping GSX-R1000R on Suzuki’s 0% finance, offer, and is now available for £60 per month with a minimum deposit of just £500.

The entry-level GSX-R entered the 125cc sportsbike segment boasting the best power and torque-to-weight ratios in the class, and uses a free-revving, DOHC single-cylinder engine, compared to the SOHC powerplants of many of its rivals.

A lightweight chassis lends itself to nimble handling, and brakes bite sharply with wavy front and rear discs, while practicality comes from keyless ignition and Suzuki’s easy-start system.

Suzuki’s GSX-R1000R remains on the firm’s 0% offer, and is available for £149 over three years, with a deposit of £3,073. The flagship superbike uses the same variable valve timing system as the GSX-RR MotoGP racer to boost power throughout the rev range, with an electronics package that boasts a 10-stage, lean angle-sensitive traction control system, a quickshifter and auto-blipper, launch control, and cornering ABS. The chassis is suspended by Showa’s race-proved balance free forks and rear shock, and front brakes come from Brembo.

Suzuki GB head of motorcycles, Jonathan Martin, said of the offer, “The GSX-R125 is the perfect entry-level sportsbike and has the right badge on the side, too; it’s a GSX-R in every sense, and it’s now even easier to be part of the family with its inclusion on our 0% campaign. The GSX-R1000R remains on our 0% offer as well, for those looking to ride the ultimate GSX-R this spring, catering for all aspiring GSX-R riders.”

Included with all new Suzuki machinery is a three-year, unlimited mileage warranty, a year’s SuzukiRoadside Assistance, and the industry-approved Datatag MASTER security kit.
