Moto Guzzi’sultra-modern new home has just opened its doors and is more vibrant than ever: the new, futuristic hub in Mandello del Lario, which was bustling with thousands of fans and admirers earlier this month during the GMG (Moto Guzzi World Days) event, continues to welcome hundreds of visitors every day, with an experience focused on the legendary Eagle brand, including a range of shoppingopportunities for true enthusiasts.
Indeed, the windows of the Motoplex Storelook out onto the spacious new internal square, which also leads to the Museum: a large space linked to the route that leads through the museum, which showcases the entire Moto Guzzi family of motorcyclesalongside a wide selection of accessories: original parts designed to highlight the unique personalityof every motorcyclist, brining an extra touch of styleand functionalityto the bike, as well as a complete range of clothingfeaturing the Eagle branding, for traveland leisure as well as the “Canottieri Moto Guzzi” and “Made in Mandello” collections, the latter of which is available online.
As well as Moto Guzzi, the Motoplex in Mandello offers the full range of scooters and motorbikes from all the Piaggio Group brands, Aprilia, Vespaand Piaggio, along with a comprehensive collection of technical gear, clothing, helmetsand merchandise for each of them. Visitors to the store can purchase Moto Guzzi garments (both technical gear for motorcycle touring and leisurewear), as well as the original Aprilia Racing MotoGP team kits or the elegant Vespa-branded pieces.
Next to the Motoplex Store, the caféand the spaces dedicated to workshops and events create an open, contemporary hub: a place to meet, share knowledge and enjoy new experiences connected to the world of Moto Guzzi.
The sparkling new Moto Guzzi Museumis home to more than 160painstakingly restored models, illustrating not only the evolution of the motorcycle, but also changes in society, technology and design.
A visit to Mandello provides an opportunity to glimpse the production lines and see the famous Wind Tunnel, which opened in 1954: the first in the world to be built within the premises of a motorcycle manufacturer.
