Wemoto Braking News
Brenta manufactures all of its pads in Italy, and they are tested and approved to the exacting TUV standards. And, while premium quality, high-performance brake pads are often shockingly expensive, Brenta maintains a sensible pricing policy throughout its high-performance organic, and sintered compound fitment, product range.
Brenta brake pads are manufactured by Italian company Frenotecnica, with over 30 years’ experience specialising in friction materials for motorcycles and scooters. All Brenta products are designed and made using the latest and most advanced technical equipment in Frenotecnica’s factory in Italy, ensuring consistent quality control across the range.
The Brenta range covers road, off-road, racing, trail, commuters and scooters with a vast range of organic, sintered and off-road sintered brake pads that are held in stock for quick despatch from Wemoto’s Sussex warehouse.
The range of Brenta organic brake pads offers the best balance between performance and price, with a wide range that ensures long-lasting performance, low disc wear and a high brake modulation. They cover the scooter market almost completely and also represent a good compromise for city use, on-road and touring bikes applications.
Brenta’s sintered brake pads offers advanced performance for motorcycle, maxi scooter, some race applications and a specialist off-road range. They provide exceptional stability in performance, maintaining a high friction coefficient in both hot and cold conditions, with limited disc wear.
Most parts that make up brake service kits can also be purchased individually. A range of brake cleaning and maintenance fluids is available as well as some useful service tools like a brake piston detaching tool and pliers with a safety lock, which make brake calliper mounting an easier and less fiddly job.
As part of its ongoing development programme, Brenta sponsors the VNE Snipers Moto3 team of Tony Arbolino and Romano Fenati. Arbolino demonstrated that Brenta performs in the white heat of world championship racing by winning this year’s Moto3 race at the Italian GP in Mugello and again at the Dutch GP at Assen in June.
