The starting point for the Hive is their 3D mesh construction. Unlike conventional mesh fabrics, which simply reduce material weight, 3D mesh creates a structural cellular-type layer that actively drives air through the glove.
The open cells form channels that funnel air inward, while allowing body heat to escape; it’s the same principle found on premium rucksack back panels and harnesses, where managing airflow matters most. Applied to motorcycle gloves, the result is a design that works with the passing air rather than simply reducing the barrier to it.
Protection is built in around breathability: the Hive is certified to Level 1KP, with padded knuckle panels and critical zone dual Amara® overlay reinforcing the areas most exposed in the event of a fall.
An Amara® palm overlay with silicon print delivers confident, consistent grip on the bars in all conditions, while the goat leather construction to the palm and back of hand provides the supple feel and abrasion resistance that riders expect from a quality leather glove.
Adjustable cuff strap closure keeps the glove secure under a jacket sleeve, and both the index finger and thumb are touchscreen compatible, allowing access to a phone or sat-nav without removing the gloves.
