Weise Stealth Hoodie for Women

The popular Weise Stealth armoured hoodie is now available in a range of women’s sizes.

Rated AA for protection, this luxurious cotton hoodie takes you from bike to street in style.

Made from soft and stretchy cotton fleece, the Stealth is instantly comfy and has a cosy drawstring hood to keep the wearer warm when off the bike. When you’re ready to ride, the hood zips off, so it won’t flap about.

A connection zip on a comfort stretch panel enables the hoodie to be attached to riding jeans, keeping you covered for safety and comfort.

The Stealth Hoodie achieves its AA rating for protection thanks to an abrasion-resistant aramid lining and CE-armour at the shoulders and elbow. Weise also include a CE Level-1 back protector at no extra charge. All the protectors are removable, so the Stealth can be machine-washed.

With pockets inside and out providing places to carry valuables, the Stealth is as practical as it is safe and comfortable.

Designed in the UK, the Weise Stealth Hoodie comes in women’s sizes 8-22, in a choice of Black or Grey, and costs £129.99 including VAT.

Silence S01 Electric Scooter Review

Electric motorbikes & scooters aren’t the choice for long tours but they do excel in congested urban environments & city rides due to their swift initial acceleration and limited battery capacity. Not to forget the main benefit that they are completely emission-free which is without a doubt their main selling point. There are a few electric motorbikes & scooter companies offering their products in the U.K, and “Silence” happens to be one of those companies.

The Silence S01 is the Spanish brand’s second electric scooter that I recently got a chance to test ride down here on the south coast along to Brighton and Worthing. The S01 has a quite distinctive front end that unlike some electric cars or motorbikes does not look weird at all but at the same time, it manages to make itself unique from the petrol-powered scooters available in the market. The same theme continues along its side profile that standouts due to a boxy battery pack and the wheel hub motor mounted in the rear tyre.

To me, the riding experience of the Silence S01 was pleasantly quite different from a traditional scooter in the way it accelerates silently without any lag. There are a total of three driving modes, i.e., eco, city & sports modes.

The driving dynamics such as the acceleration, top speed, and regenerative braking vary widely across all the three modes, and in my view, the city mode would be the ideal choice for normal driving since it isn’t too restrictive like the eco mode whose top speed is limited to 43 mph and the regenerative braking is also quite abrupt. The city mode provides a nice middle ground and restricts the top speed to 53 mph and the re-gen braking too is quite subtle in this mode. The sport mode increases the top speed to 62 mph which would be good for occasional high-speed runs but remember that its toll on the useable range is significantly higher than the city mode.

The overall ride quality is reasonably comfortable thanks to comfy seats and the upright riding posture. The telescopic forks at the front and the single-side mounted single shock at the rear have just an adequate amount of travel to absorb the minor imperfections, though you would feel some harsh potholes due to a small suspension travel. Another great thing about the S01 is the practicality it offers under the seat that has been made possible only because of the electric powertrain. The S01 review would be incomplete without mentioning the technical aspects of which the most important aspect is its 5.6 kWh Li-ion battery that has a real-world range of nearly 80-110 km (depending upon the driving mode). The portable battery can be removed and charged from any 240V socket and can also be utilized as an inverter which would be a great option for powering small appliances at a remote location.

You can also charge the scooter directly from a socket under the seat (cable came provided see photo above) which I found much easier than removing the battery pack. The company claim charging time is 6-8 hours.

Under the seat is ample room to store items, which should store two open face scooter style helmets or a backpack and a helmet but in my case carried bluetooth disc lock and chain.

The scooter does also have an app where you can check where the scooter is, the status of the scooter and battery many other things. Thats said I couldn’t connect when I tested the scooter due to it being locked to a previous tester.

Conclusion
I think this scooter is aimed at commuters who don’t commute too far or as courier/food delivery transport.

If you were travelling any further that say 35 (83 miles from 100% in Eco mode) miles a day there and back in ECO mode (even less in City and sport) you would suffer range anxiety.

It’s really handy for charging at home, however if you start running out of juice and get stuck you can’t just nip into local petrol station, supermarket or any of the electric car charging points that are springing up as their not compatible you would need to find a standard household UK plug socket (or whichever country your in).

The lag-free acceleration, easier charging options, and cheap ownership & running costs are great additional pros of the S01 electric scooter which should make it an ideal contender for anyone looking to buy a two-wheeler for day-to-day usage.

One thing it does have which is sadly missing on most bikes these days is a center stand (as well as a side stand) which can be very handy.

Would I switch fully to electric? The simple answer is no until range is extended. However that said the Silence electric scooter would make a great second bike/scooter. Perfect to just jump on (making sure charged first) to nip to the shops etc or a short commute but longer journeys petrol is still king.

Many thanks to Silence UK for the week long loan for more info on the S01 or other models head to their official Silence UK website https://www.silenceuk.com//

Triumph Motorcycles Showcases Racing Heritage

Triumph Motorcycles showcases racing heritage and pays tribute to celebrated rider Craig Jones with memorial lap.

With Triumph Motorcycles firmly back in the paddock for the British Supersport Championship with the Dynavolt Triumph Team, round 5 at Donington circuit was a fitting occasion to demonstrate a series of activities.  A memorial lap took place, attributed to acclaimed rider Craig Jones, along with a unique display of heritage racing motorcycles and the opportunity for Triumph owners to ride their bikes on a lap of the 1.9mile Midlands circuit.

One of the highlights of the weekend was the return of the Valmoto Triumph 600 Daytona to the track. Last publicly ridden by Craig Jones in the 2004 Championship where Jones delivered some incredible performances, including a victorious win on the ‘last corner, last lap, last race’ back in 2004 at Donington Circuit before he sadly passed away in 2008.

2011 BSB Champion and friend of Craig Jones, Tommy Hill rode the #18 bike, kindly loaned from Dick Shepherd and the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience, to pay tribute to Jones and celebrate the famous victory.

Tommy was joined on track by fellow rider Scott Smart who followed closely on another celebrated motorcycle: 2012 Triumph 675 Daytona #1, previously ridden by Glen Richards for Smiths Racing, the British Supersport Champion in 2012.

The significance of the story warmed hearts around the circuit and brought Craig Jones’ family members, racing managers, and commentator Fred Clarke to the circuit to honour the moment.

Custodian of the motorcycle, Dick Shepherd said: “With such significant history it’s been great to be able to carry on the memories back here at Donington. It’s lovely to see everyone come together and share this special moment, from across the circuit.”

If you missed the action, these bikes alongside another 11 from the Triumph Daytona bloodline feature in a current exhibition at the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience. This is free to enter and open Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00am to 4:30pm.

Freshen up your helmet with S100

S100 Helmet Lining Cleaner will freshen up your motorcycle helmet, without the hassle of soaking, scrubbing or removing the lining.

Dust, dirt and perspiration can quickly build-up inside a helmet lining, especially during the warmer summer months, forming an unhygienic layer of dirt and bacteria in the fabric and padding, as well as unpleasant odour.

S100 Helmet Lining Cleaner is specially developed to deep clean fabric helmet liners, without damaging the material, foam padding or EPS layer.

There’s no need for soaking, pre-treatment or scrubbing, and no need to remove the liner: just spray on the S100; work in with a cloth to lift the dirt; remove the excess with a clean and dry soft cloth, then allow it to dry naturally.

Active ingredients help lift dirt, dust and grime, and remove stale odours, (instead of just masking them). It also leaves behind a fresh scent.

Made in Germany, S100 Helmet Lining Cleaner comes in a 300ml aerosol and costs £11.90 including VAT.

For details on their complete motorcycle care range visit www.motohaus.com

For the exterior, S100 Helmet / Visor Cleaner removes insects and road grime in seconds.

It’s formulated for scratch- and streak-free cleaning of both the visor and outer shell, and is suitable for clear, tinted, mirrored or anti-fog coated visors.

It can also be used on headlights, windscreen, and mirrors.

Helmet / Visor Cleaner costs £12.90 including VAT, comes in a handy spray bottle that can be stashed under the seat or in luggage, and a high quality microfibre cloth is included too.

A quick, easy and cost-effective way to revitalise other riding kit, S100 Technical Fabric & Leather Wash cleans and reactivates climate membranes in both textile and leather riding garments.

Technical Fabric & Leather Wash removes contaminants from the membrane, restoring breathability – without damaging the sensitive fabric, which many common detergents and fabric softeners can.

It couldn’t be simpler to use: either add the recommended amount to your washing machine and set on a cool cycle, or hand wash your items.

It’s safe to use with most technical climate membranes, such as Gore-Tex and Sympatex.

A 250ml bottle costs £10.90 including VAT

Wunderlich Box for Boxer Tools

A very clever bit of kit, Wunderlich’s Smart Tool Box uses the space behind BMW R1200 and 1250 GS panniers to carry tools, first aid and other essentials.

Mounted on the back of the nearside pannier rail, the Smart Tool Box is waterproof and light – made from strong injection moulded plastic, it weighs less than a metal box, but is much more robust than a fabric tool roll.

It is also much more secure. Two lockable versions are available, one supplied with its own keys and one that features a ‘codeable’ lock, so it can be opened using the BMW ignition key.

Though compact (it measures just 325 x 105 x 230 mm) it’s surprisingly spacious, with a 4.5 litre capacity – more than similar boxes on the market.

As you’d expect, the Smart Tool Box can be accessed with the pannier in place, so there’s no need to remove it or disturb contents at the side of the road. The lid has a retaining strap to prevent loss too.

The Wunderlich Smart Tool box comes in two versions, both featuring the same box and a black powder-coated aluminium mounting plate, but with different key options;
  • The basic version with two separate conventional keys is £149-
  • The second version includes a codeable key kit so that your BMW ignition key can be used to open the tool box – this costs £169-
(Prices include VAT).

They fit R1200 GS LC (2013 – 2020), R1200 Adventure (2014 to 2020), R1250 GS (2019 on) and R1250 Adventure (2020-on) models, with BMW frames and boxes fitted.
Wunderlich also offer a Cordura inner bag, tailored to fit the Tool Box perfectly, containing a comprehensive breakdown kit:

  • Motorbike first aid kit
  • Slime tyre repair kit incl. CO2 cartridges
  • Hazard vest EN ISO 20471
  • Head torch (batteries included)
  • 360° LED warning light
  • BMW multitool with bits
  • Medium strength thread lock
  • Folding funnel
  • Wunderlich black straps 200cm
  • 10 x zip ties
  • Power fabric tape EXTRA
  • TESA Extreme repair tape
  • A pair of work gloves
  • Two cleaning cloths

The Cordura Inner Bag with Breakdown Kit sells for £139 including VAT.

All three are available from Wunderlich’s exclusive UK partner www.nippynormans.com

Nitro Helmet N302

Helmets are a basic motorbike safety equipment that protects the most vulnerable & crucial part of our body, which is why every rider tries his best to get his hands on the best helmet available in the market. However, the best helmets are accompanied by a high price tag that contributes to the fact that they are sometimes out of reach for some who reach out to cheaper helmets which can turn out to be knock-offs and just don’t have what it takes to protect in case of an accident. But there do exist some exceptions, which is evident from Nitro’s entire lineup of helmets that are not only aesthetically pleasing but are also made to provide adequate protection in case of an impact. This review entails my experience with Nitro’s N302 entry-level helmet that in all truthfulness has changed my views about entry-level/affordable motorbike gear.

The Nitro N302 on the outside seems just like any other budget helmet on the market, but what makes it somewhat different from others is its build quality which just seems a level above its class. Moreover, the N302 lineup is available in a multitude of variations, whether it be the size or the colors, which provides a good option to every class of rider. The helmet I bought seemed a bit tight for my head from the outside, but thankfully, there was enough room for my head to fit in, therefore, it will be a good idea to place an order only after confirming your head’s circumference.

The Nitro full-face helmet not only performs well on the aesthetics, but it also does well when it comes to safety and other features. The polycarbonate shell gives the helmet the desired robustness and at the same time keeps its weight light enough, which is why I didn’t experience any neck pain after an hour-long ride. The washable padding is also quite welcoming and is attached tight enough to the core to keep the wind whistle away from the rider’s ears. The scratch-resistant visor also does its part in providing a quiet ambiance all the while providing an almost 180° line of sight.

The recent hot spell has made us all realize the importance of a proper ventilation system, luckily the Nitro N302 comes with ample ventilation slots on the front and the rear that does their job very efficiently. Lastly, the most important question a lot of you would be asking would be the safety certification which I was also looking for when placing an order for this helmet. The 2021 model of the N302 comes certified with the ECE 22.05 safety rating that, in the end, finalized my order for Nitro’s full-face helmet.

Nitro N302 has proven to be a great affordable helmet for me, that in addition to being ECE-certified, has some additional extras to offer that are relatively unheard of for a helmet of this class & price. If you are hunting for an affordable motorbike helmet that promises optimum safety then look no further, Nitro N302 has got you covered.

Nitro N540 Podium Helmet

How good is a budget helmet? I sometimes wonder what is it that we pay for when buying an item. Is it the brand, the quality, the materials, or the service? I find this even more important when it comes to safety, especially something like a motorcycle helmet. I must admit, I did have some doubts. (checkout Maja’s review of motorcycle helmet inspection service)

I decided to try the Nitro Helmet on a short ride to start with. It’s what I normally do with any new helmet to get used to it. The first impressions were really good. The helmet looks and feels well finished. I especially love the matt paint finish. There are vents on the chin and at the top of the helmet that you can control with the sliding mechanism.

I especially like the internal tinted visor and the fact that they have moulded the helmet to allow for the specs wearers to use their glasses inside the helmet. The internal visor is operated by the sliding mechanism on the left hand side of the helmet.

The external visor system feels very sturdy and easy to change the position of the visor from closed to open. It is also easy to remove and put back and it comes pinlock ready although no pinlock included, and to be fair, I didn’t expect it at this price.

The helmet is, of course, ACU approved and carries the gold sticker on the back.

Once the helmet was on I did feel the padding wasn’t quite enough. My cheeks are normally pressed against the internal padding but on this one, I still have plenty of room. Whilst the crown of the head is firmly held by the liner and doesn’t move when I hold the helmet still and move my head left to right, it is not the same for my face. The plus side of this is that my ears are not constricted in any way and wearing my moulded earplugs meant I had no pressure on my ears like in some helmets.

It didn’t seem particularly noisy when out riding but it is noisier than my other helmets, not by much, just enough to notice.

Whilst testing the helmet I had the opportunity to send it off for a non-destructive inspection to find out if a £90 is safe to use. It came back with a big tick of approval. Yes, it passed the inspection and I was really pleased to see that we have a solid British helmet manufacturer that caters to entry-level helmets that not only look good but are safe, too.

Nitro F440 Helmet

Helmets are a prerequisite for any rider and their importance cannot be neglected under any circumstances. Most bikers head to the mainstream helmet brands, but there are some reasonably priced & well-built helmets available in the market. Nitro’s F440 series surely is a part of such helmets. We try out the Nitro F440 Modular Helmet whilst out and about on a test ride

The F440 is a flip-up helmet, on of the main concern of anyone including me, when buying or considering a flip-front/modular helmet is its structural integrity or the safety it provides since its chin guard is retractable. However, these concerns quickly vanished in the air in the case of Nitro’s F440 as it is ECE 22.05 certified which provided me with peace of mind that the flip-front mechanism or even the helmet itself won’t crumble in case of a crash. Speaking of the flip-front mechanism, the flipping mechanism is quite smooth and easy to locate when riding a motorbike and the field of view significantly improves upon raising the chin guard which obviously is the main selling point of any flip-front/modular helmet in the first place.

Part of the reason behind the structural integrity of the helmet is the use of polycarbonate in its shell that makes it rigid enough to withstand harsh impacts. Moreover, there are ample air vents available to keep the rider’s head cool, but the flip-front mechanism proved to be a blessing in disguise for me in the recent scorching heatwave. The plush liner not only is quite welcoming but at the same time can be removed in a minute or so if you want to give it a good wash.

The pin-lock prepared visor and the micrometric chin strap provided played an important part in making this helmet ECE 22.05 certified. Overall, the helmet might seem a bit regular to you, but the features and the ECE certification combined with a highly attractive price tag make for a great flip-front helmet that truly deserves attention from anyone looking to buy a good yet affordable helmet.

Second Tattoo Inspired ‘Art-Bike’ Design Revealed By Indian Motorcycle

Highly respected modern-traditional tattoo artist Shige transforms all-new Indian Chief with a design dedicated to the Japanese Oni Demon with a storm of falling cherry blossoms.

The second of three headline artists work to be revealed in CGI as part of the ‘Indian Motorcycle X No Regrets’ tattoo art collaboration.

Indian Motorcycle unveil the second of three unique tattoo inspired designs, created by three iconic featured tattoo artists – Mayonaize, Shige and Carlos Torres – whose Indian Motorcycle Chief based works of art will each be revealed in high-resolution computer-generated imagery over the next three months.

Hailing from Yokohama, Japan, Shige practices the art of tattooing from his private studio ‘Yellow Blaze’ where he has refined his style over the past 24 years, interpreting traditional Japanese themed body art with his own unique twist.

Shige perfected his highly technical artistic skills in the mid-nineties while working as a motorcycle mechanic by day and tattooing at night, that passion for American motorcycles translated into his choice of design for the Indian Motorcycle Chief.

Talking with Indian Motorcycle’s Ola Stenegärd, Shige explained his design:
Ola Stenegärd – “I first came in contact with Japanese custom bike culture back in the 90’s, the more I learned about Japanese culture, I started seeing parallels in the culture of craftsmanship. Everything from custom bikes to the Japanese art of tattooing. What is the story of the design?”

Shige – “I picked the ‘Oni demon with storm of falling cherry blossoms’ design. My understanding of tattooing is different from what the majority thinks – who understand it mainly as decoration. The reason for the placement of an Oni-demon tattooed on the belly means you have Oni-demon in the center of the body and heart, this translates to the motorcycle fuel tank. The Oni-demon stands for strong will and protection; Oni is a demon, but its meaning is not evil. It wards off bad luck and protects you from evil. Having Oni-demon tattooed on the belly shows one’s determination to live in this harsh world with a strong heart. The Japanese language is full of mystery, and it is believed that the stomach contains the entire human heart”

“A tattoo has to be beautiful as the body moves. The cherry blossoms have to be perfectly composed as they are there to balance the Oni-demon, together with the deep meaning of the flower. Cherry Blossoms means ‘the pathos of things’. This image of ‘a sensitivity to ephemera’ can also be related to the motorbike – or even one’s life. That’s the reason why I chose this image. Showing the Indian Motorcycle Chief and the dramatic depth of life itself. It is not just about looks. I desire to put emotional drama into the design of this motorbike. And the Oni-demon does create this drama”

Shige’s design will be applied to a real Indian Motorcycle Chief later this year and revealed in the metal at a VIP event in London in Spring 2022, alongside designs from artists Mayonaize and Carlos Torres. Forty more of the world’s leading tattoo artists will all compete to have their Indian Motorcycle Chief designs made a reality in steel and paint later this Autumn by public vote.

Triumph Motorcycles Unveils All-New Factory Tour

Triumph Motorcycles Factory Visitor Experience has launched an all-new Factory Tour.

The redesigned factory tour now includes a visit to the Centre of Excellence, home of Triumph’s prototype development and 3D printing, and the world-renowned paint shop. A new UK assembly line can also be viewed during the tour.

The new assembly facility has been designed to build several thousand motorcycles a year across a wide variety of Triumph models for the UK and European markets. This follows Triumph’s plan to continue to build motorcycles in the UK and to increase capacity to respond to shifts in customer demand, while focussing on the UK and European markets.

With this refreshed factory tour, visitors can get close to the 3D designs, tools and components being used in early-stage prototype builds whilst being guided through a new state-of-the-art facility, as Triumph promises to continue to build all its engineering prototypes at the Hinckley Headquarters.

Nicole Coates, one of the first visitors on the new Factory Tour, said: “It is quite impressive! I have come away with a great appreciation for the quality that’s coming from Triumph. I was surprised to see so many people working by hand rather than robots. It is such a personable experience; the staff working in the Factory looked very at ease and proud of what they were doing.”

Anthony Coates, who had received the Factory Tour as a gift, added: “The experience overall has been great. The tour guides pitch it very well throughout the route – it’s easy to follow and understand. Even after the Factory Tour, we visited the Exhibition which was fascinating, and the Café was very satisfying with friendly, welcoming staff. I would recommend the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience!”

Simon Thrussell, Head of Customer Experience, commented: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming everybody back to enjoy the fantastic new factory tour. A team from across the business has worked relentlessly to create a thoroughly engaging, educational and exciting experience that the whole family can enjoy.”

Tickets can be booked online from the Triumph Motorcycles website, priced from £20 per person. The Exhibition, 1902 Café and Factory Shop will continue to offer free entry.

Navigating on a bike… with the itinerary at your fingertips

GIVI tells us the secrets of how to fit smartphone or GPS holders on your bike

Do you remember when only paper maps were used for travelling? And to call home, on the other side of the world, you had to go to a post office? Those days are long gone.
Today, small technological devices such as the smartphone or GPS have become indispensable for communicate, navigate and those who explore the world by motorcycle too. But … where and how are they fixed on board? GIVI gives you some tips.

You really can do everything with a Smartphone: communicate, take photos, share things, and find your bearings … This is why many travelers choose to rely completely on this kind of mobile device when taking a trip. However, there are some routes that require an extra guarantee: GPS navigators with satellite signals reception even in the most remote places, without the support of a network connection or previously prepared routes on files, such as GPX. However the most “experienced” travelers tend to have a Plan B, which often takes the form of (old, expensive) printed maps that still find a special place in many of the tank bags currently in production.

Smartphones and GPS: which ones exist?
The market offers plenty of solutions, but it would be impossible not to indicate GIVI as the reference brand, given its great commitment to researching holders, types of mountings, materials, shapes… to successfully diversify what is on offer. Let’s have a look at the current range:

Device holder equipped with “case”
Models that allow for the insertion of a Smartphone or GPS navigator inside a semi-rigid case, equipped with a sun visor and a transparent touch-sensitive window, to allow access and use of the device’s screen. The S95 line is available in different sizes and layouts depending on the device. The rainproof cover supplied adds an extra guarantee for the safety of the device, although it is not 100% waterproof it still offers plenty of protection from light rain and on short journeys.

Adjustable holder Smart Clip
The Smart Clip has been designed to accommodate almost all Smartphones on the market and can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally. Designed for those who want to have quicker access to their phone, use the front and rear cameras regularly, or use different sized devices. The clip is available in two sizes, S920M and S920L. And to add extra security, especially for those who use it on bumpy roads, an elastic, in the shape of an “8”, is included. What if it rains? Simply purchase one of the GIVI T519 waterproof covers.

How can they be properly fixed to the bike?
To mount the device holders of the Italian brand, GIVI has developed its “Mini-Tanklock” mounting system, which allows not only to attach and detach the holder in seconds, but also to install it in places with irregular sections, for example on the rear-view mirrors of some scooters. This system consists of a structure, divided into two parts like a clamp that covers the handlebars, with adjustment screws and a circular structure that fits into the smartphone holder. In addition, it has a safety strap in case the device holder case is not securely fastened.

However, GIVI also offers alternative solutions for attaching smartphone holders in exceptional cases when, due to aesthetic reasons or technical impossibility (for example because the mirrors are located on the fairing or at the end of the handlebars), they cannot be attached in the normal way. So the Italian company has its functional and carefully designed accessories S901A, S902A and S903A, or the new S904B, which use the brake or clutch fluid reservoir caps as a base.

And for those who still use their Garmin or Tom Tom, GIVI also has tailor-made solutions for these devices which, mounted on the mentioned bases, allow the original mounting system to be fitted.

Even for those who need to carry several devices, the specialized brand has provided its FB aluminium bar or S900A that create a support for positioning smartphones, Telepass holders, GPS or even action cameras.

And where do we place the map in case we have to activate plan B?
However, as sophisticated as the new devices are, there is always something that can go wrong (breakdown, power failure, theft …) and it is on these occasions that a paper map can come in handy.

Economical, they don’t run out of power and don’t lose the signal; there is little risk of them being stolen either. When technology refuses to cooperate, it is always useful for a motorcycle traveler to have a couple of maps with them, which do a great job at helping to find the way.

Keeping your maps and route in sight is easy with tank bags like the most of the collection offered by GIVI. Some like the UT809 Tanklocked, EA103B or EA131 Tanklock have been specially designed to increase the carrying capacity on your travels and provide functional solutions like the wide transparent map pocket.

And finally: just think of the sense of “adventure” they bring to the trip! They represent an iconography that make them objects to be treasured once the journey is over.

iXS – Sports Glove Carbon-Mesh 4.0

The Sports Glove Carbon-Mesh 4.0 is a cool product for hot summer days in the iXS product range. It’s precisely in the summer that you might want to remove an item or two of clothing to cope with the heat. There’s a great temptation to ride without any gloves, but anyone who rides a motorbike without any protection, is risking a lot – heat leaves risks cold. However, there are lots of good arguments for continuing to wear gloves. A particularly convincing reason is the Sports Glove Carbon-Mesh 4.0 from iXS: a light, air-permeable glove, which provides good protection for the exposed parts.

The glove consists of a mixture of high-quality goatskin, mesh and fabric. The air-permeable mesh inserts and leather perforations guarantee comfort even on hot days. In addition to the various double layers of leather, a break-proof formed component made of a carbon/PVC mix over the knuckles provides safety. Super-fabric padding on the back of the hands offers additional protection. The adjustable Velcro on the wrist prevents the glove peeling off. This ensures the necessary sensitivity for the brakes, gears, and accelerator handle to always guarantee safe handling of the bike.

Reflective piping around the fingers and knuckles makes sure you can be seen when it’s dark. Thanks to touchscreen-compatible material on the index finger, the glove doesn’t have to be taken off when you are operating your Smartphone. In summary, it’s a very comfortable and high-quality glove with plenty of ventilation. As well as the good grip and great movement, the glove also offers an impressive fit. It’s available in neutral black and in sizes S – 5XL.
