New from Skidmarx, the Himalayan Tall screen provides extra protection from wind and rain for riders of Royal Enfield’s popular adventure sport bike.
Manufactured in the UK, the screen is 80mm taller than standard and is made from 4mm cast acrylic, which gives it extra rigidity. However, it is actually 10mm narrower than the original, to allow the handlebars to be turned to full lock with the optional factory handguards fitted.
Skidmarx design their road bike screens to fit directly onto existing mounting points, using original fasteners, so it’s simply a matter of removing the factory-fitted screen and replacing it with the new one.

British motorcycle control specialists, Venhill, now offer upgraded front brake hoses for the latest generation Honda CRF450L – ideal for riders looking to fine tune their set-up.
Developed with input from JM Honda Racing in MXGP, the Venhill brake lines offer enhanced performance and feel, plus improved durability and greater flexibility in set-up than factory-fitted items.
Each line is constructed around a DuPont® Teflon® core, for maximum heat resistance, which prevents softening, expansion and loss of shape. Its consistent internal diameter and smooth bore also allow more efficient fluid flow.
Marine grade stainless steel braid is wrapped around the hose, to prevent further pressure expansion and protect against damage. For a neat long-lasting finish, the lines are covered with an extruded PVC jacket, available in a choice of 10 colours, and a clear option (pictured).
Venhill’s unique threaded swivel fittings allow the lines to be positioned with zero twist and Venhill machine their own banjo fittings to ensure proper fitment and a consistent, quality finish.

Akrapovič’s latest product is a Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system for the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin and Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports motorcycles featuring a new Durability Reimagined design allied to a perfect soundtrack and low weight.
Constructed from high-grade lightweight titanium and finished with a handmade carbon-fibre end cap and heat shield, this system is 24.6% lighter than the standard stock exhaust. Nippy Normans Ultimate Puncture Repair Tool combines everything needed for tubeless tyre repairs into a compact multi-tool.
Puncture repair kits normally consist of either a standalone plugging system requiring additional tools, or a full system with loose parts. Either way results in a bulky kit of several pieces that are all too easily misplaced.
Designed specifically for motorcyclists, this 4-in-1 tool contains a pair of pliers, a rasp, an insertion tool and sharp knife, as well as five ‘repair strings’ – everything needed to fix 99% of tubeless punctures.
It packs into a sheath measuring just 130 x 68 x 50 mm – small enough to fit in a jacket pocket or under a bike seat. Quick and easy to use, it takes just four steps to plug a puncture:
Remove the nail/screw/thorn from the tyre with the pliers;

The AMB 001 by Aston Martin and Brough Superior took to the track at Pau-Arnos in France recently to begin its comprehensive testing programme. Designed and engineered for the race track, the AMB 001 is strictly limited to just 100 examples and is on schedule for first deliveries at the end of this year. Adorned in the traditional Aston Martin Camo livery, the AMB 001 test mule completed its first test at Pau-Arnos.

Prototype testing is one of the most vital parts of the development process with a test motorcycle allowing the team to validate the chassis geometry, the ergonomics and dynamic behaviour. In the same way that Aston Martin’s vehicle dynamics engineers can ‘read’ a car, Brough Superior’s test rider feeds back on all areas of performance, from the overall dynamic feel of the bike to details regarding cornering, braking, acceleration and the like.
Commenting on the ongoing success of the development programme, Brough Superior CEO Thierry Henriette said: “One of the key design features of the AMB 001 is an aluminium fin that runs along the full length of a carbon fibre tank, passing under the saddle and out onto the rear. The body holding the fin and supporting the saddle is one of the areas where we called on the unique knowledge of Mecano ID, who joined the project to apply specialist aerospace-quality carbon fibre skills to the exclusive AMB 001.
While the focus of the track testing is directed at the chassis, engine bench testing takes place in parallel to streamline the development process. The AMB 001 boasts a turbo-charged engine with an output of 180 hp, which is unique in the motorcycle industry for a serial production bike. The turbo package includes an intercooler; this imposing radiator with its striking oversized/wide intake manifold, gives the V-twin a supercar engine appearance.
Once this testing process is complete the AMB 001 will go into production this Autumn at the Brough Superior factory in Toulouse, France. Attached and removed in seconds, the MultiClamp uses a unique tool-free fitting system: just choose your mounting location; tighten securely using the removable toggle and spindle; then take off the toggle and you’re good to go.
