Nolangroup Presents Two New Full-Face Helmets

Nolangroup presents two new full-face helmets: Nolan N80-8 and N60-6.

It was in 1972 that Nolan presented the N01, the first injection-moulded jet helmet in LEXANTM polycarbonate. In 2022 the company will celebrate 50 years of history and continues to offer the market helmets that have contributed to the involvement of the sector, with the same passion that it has always demonstrated. Nolangroup is currently the leading manufacturer in Europe, with 400,000 helmets/year made entirely in Italy.

Since Lander Nocchi founded the company (in February 1972), Made in Italy excellence has been one of the factors that have made it unique, together with a constant commitment to research and innovation. These are values that are reflected once again in the 2022 collection, which sees the addition to the range of two new Nolan full-face models in polycarbonate: N80-8 and N60-6. Two helmets that perfectly encompass the know-how gained over these 50 glorious years of history.

The N80-8 is the new Nolan top-of-the range on-road full-face helmet, the heir to the extremely popular N87. The bold and modern design enhances every detail, from the shell to the air intakes. Thanks to its rich technical characteristics and standard equipment, it is the ideal helmet for any occasion, from long urban trips to the most challenging journeys, whatever the motorbike used and the destination to be reached.

The N60-6, on the other hand, is the new entry-level on-road full face helmet by Nolan, characterized by a contemporary and sporting design. Its technical features make it suitable for any situation, both in the city and on the motorway.

These two helmets express the attention to detail and the technological development that the company based in Brembate di Sopra has honed over the years. N80-8 and N60-6 encompass the progress made by Nolangroup both on and off the racetrack. Nolan’s commitment to the world of competitive sports, with the sponsoring of riders who have reached important milestones, has also made a significant contribution to the development of on-road helmets. N80-8 is one example, as it offers a number of technical characteristics of “racing” origin, such as NERS (NOLAN EMERGENCY RELEASE SYSTEM) and LPC (LINER POSITIONING CONTROL), elements that make the Nolan N80-8 a top-of-the-range helmet.

However, the design of the products has also played a key role in the success of the Italian company. The in-house style department has always presented graphics that are in line with market trends. In order to celebrate this special anniversary, this year sees the introduction to the range of brand-new commemorative livery, with elegant graphics that are, at the same time, sporting and full of character, with gold iconic detailing and the specially developed 50th logo.

The company based in Brembate di Sopra is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary with decidedly positive financial results: the financial statements for 2020/2021 show turnover of 50 million euros, marking an increase of 25% over the previous year, and an EBITDA of around 9 million euros. These are significant results that underline the success of Made in Italy excellence, which now more than ever is appreciated in the more than 70 countries all over the world to which Nolangroup exports its products.

Nolangroup Presents The New Livery Dedicated To Casey Stoner

Nolangroup presents the new livery dedicated to Casey Stoner and approaches its 50th anniversary with record results.

Nolangroup, the main sponsor of the Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix taking place from 22 to 24 October 2021 at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, has chosen this iconic setting to present a new livery dedicated to Casey Stoner and to begin celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the company.

On the first day of the weekend of racing, Nolangroup connected live with Casey Stoner to present the X-803 RS ULTRA CARBON CASEY STONER 10th ANNIVERSARY helmet, a new livery developed for the top-of-the-range full-face X-lite racing helmet to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Australian champion’s win at the 2011 MotoGP and to consolidate the relationship between Nolangroup and the world of competition.

“Albeit remotely, I am delighted to be here with you today. It has been ten years since my victory at the world championships, but the emotion is still the same, as is the “special” relationship that I have with the Nolangroup” – stated Casey Stoner. “Nolan helmets have been a reliable companion for all my races and I am very grateful today to the company for this unexpected surprise”.

The new X-803 RS ULTRA CARBON CASEY STONER 10th ANNIVERSARY helmet boasts all the elements that have always accompanied the legend of international motorcycle racing in the 176 races of his career: the Australian flag, Casey’s logo, the number 27, and kangaroos. The rear features celebratory elements, such as the championship logo of the international MotoGP and the text World Champion 10th Anniversary positioned on the RAS (Racetrack Aerodynamic Spoiler). The X-803 RS ULTRA CARBON CASEY STONER 10th ANNIVERSARY, a special edition product for 2022, will soon be available from the best retailers.

In 2022, Nolangroup will be celebrating 50 years of Italian manufacturing history. Its sponsorship of the Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix represents the first stage of celebrations. Accompanied by Casey Stoner and the riders Danilo Petrucci, Álex Rins and Arón Canet, the CEO of Nolangroup Enzo Panacci took the opportunity to sum up the company’s current economic situation, which is approaching this important anniversary with record results.

The company, the number one manufacturer in Europe, with 400,000 helmets per year under the Nolan, X-lite and Grex brands exported to 85 countries worldwide, has managed to face up to the pandemic, thanks to the constant efforts in Research and Development and the contribution of its 400 employees working at the production plants in Brembate di Sopra (in the province of Bergamo). Since the beginning, Nolangroup has been running its entire manufacturing chain in Italy, an additional aspect that renders the company unique.

Nolangroup has unveiled the new X-803 RS ULTRA CARBON at EICMA, a new full-face racing helmet born from the experience of some of the world’s fastest riders and closest racing. With MotoGP™ graphics and high carbon-content, the X-803 RS ULTRA CARBON is the perfect mixture of style, comfort and safety for MotoGP™ fans worldwide.

Nolangroup, based in Bergamo, Italy, is the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship’s sole worldwide licensee for producing helmets and has been for a decade, with each year only serving to cement a partnership born from the shared values of excellence, innovation and competition. Anticipate the needs of motorcyclists and be the first to offer helmets with ever-more avant-garde solutions. A challenge that Nolan Group has been carrying forward since 1972, studying the latest trends and identifying new technology, as well as the best available materials. A challenge which nowadays leads to the creation of “Made in Italy” products that the company exports to more than 80 countries worldwide, with a total of more than 450,000 helmets sold every year.

As confirmation of this ambitious process, for 2019, Nolan Group proposes three new versatile and innovative products: N70-2X, N70-2GT and X-903.

Nolan’s N70-2 X and N70-2 GT models have been created to satisfy the requirements of motorcyclists who use their bikes in ever-increasingly varied situations: from the city to off-road, as well as tourism. N70-2 X is the first on-off (road and off-road) crossover on the market, while the N70-2 GT is a road crossover. Both are characterised by a removable protective chin guard and ultrawide visor, elements which make them unique and versatile.

The X-lite range instead now includes the new X-903, the sport-inspired top-of-the-range full-face touring helmet characterised by the innovative visor mechanism with tilting function and the exclusive MVA (Magnetic Visor Assembly) system.

Lastly, with the Grex brand, Nolangroup seeks to conquer those looking for helmets that offer excellent value for money. There are three new proposals for 2019: a full-face helmet for the road, the G6.2, the G4.1E jet and the G3.1E mini-jet.

The N-Com family has also grown, thanks to the introduction of the B901 X Series (compatible with the X-lite models), and the new B601 series which substitutes the base range of products (B1.4, B1, BX1) and increases performance: new electronic circuit board, new components, and an updated design for the keypads.

X-1003: The New Flip-up Helmet Made of Composite Fibres is Now Available

Nolangroup Research and Development division is always looking for innovation and advanced solutions able to satisfy the more demanding motorcyclists. Here takes shape X-1003, the new flip-up helmet with a composite fibre shell. The light weight (only 1.500 grams for size M) is only the first feature which will win the most demanding touring riders’ favour. Sporty look and innovative design are the other characteristics making X-1003 the top helmet of the range.

X-1003 is available in three outer shell sizes (XXS-XS-S-M1 / M2-L / XL-XXL-XXXL) and the inner comfort padding, conceived with the best padding, is fully removable and washable. The new shape of the cheek pads offers excellent helmet stability and makes it comfortable for those who use glasses, thanks to the Eyewear Adaptive System. The removable neck roll completes the comfort of the new X-1003.

The Touring Ventilation System provides optimum comfort even during long trips and in the most extreme conditions, thanks to the air intakes on the chin guard and on the shell as well as to the rear hot air extractor.

X-1003 has been conceived with the DUAL ACTION opening system. Positioned in the centre of the chin guard, it allows for easy, one-handed opening. The dual action opening mechanism reduces the risk of accidental opening to a minimum and assures maximum safety. The chin guard rotation movement with elliptical trajectorymakes it possible to keep the total size of the helmet’s front section to a minimum, when the chin guard is open.

The visor is ultra-wide and equipped with tool-free quick released mechanism. Moreover, it features the DOUBLE ACTION mechanism allowing the visor lock to prevent accidental visor opening at high speeds, or visor demisting at low speeds or stops by a minimum visor opening. Scratch Resistant (S/R) and Fog Resistant(F/R) VPS (Vision Protection System).
