GASGAS to Showcase New Electric-Powered Prototype Trial Bike in Spain

Sondre Haga heads to the Spanish trial championship to further develop the GASGAS TXE.

As a world leader in trial bike manufacturing, GASGAS has been evolving its own electric-powered trial bike – the TXE – for several years. Fast forward to 2024 and up next on the development program for the exciting new model is to bring it back to competition, which is where GASGAS Factory Racing star, Sondre Haga, steps in. This weekend, the former Trial2 World Champion will compete at the Spanish Trial Championship aboard the TXE and we’re excited to see how he gets on. Good luck, Sondre!

Making sure you get maximum performance from your bike is what the new Connectivity Unit Offroad was designed for. After introducing the CUO on the 2024 MC 250F Factory Edition and MC 450F Factory Edition bikes last year, we now want all GASGAS 4-stroke riders to benefit from the latest dirt bike technology. As you play with settings and learn, your riding and technical knowledge will grow together, helping you to develop as both a rider and bike tuner!

Available now, the CUO is easy to fit and once paired with the new GASGAS+ app you can begin tuning the power to suit your style, or the track conditions, using your phone. Multiple set-ups can be saved for future reference and applied at various circuits, saving you time, and making sure you ride with the best performance from your motor. Owners of our 2024 Factory Edition models love the CUO, so if you own a stock 4-stroke GASGAS motocross or cross country bike, you can now benefit from the same technology.

If you’re just looking to perfect your suspension set-up, then the free GASGAS+ app is just what you need to ride in complete comfort on any type of circuit. After guiding you through setting the sag, you can then start from a number of recommended settings for different racetracks, or start from scratch. The choice is yours and you can save multiple set-ups for various conditions. There’s also a virtual garage within the app where you can add and remove your bike or bikes, view owner’s manuals, and record your maintenance and servicing.

The GASGAS+ app has another awesome feature – RIDER. For this to work you’ll need a special front fender to install a GPS sensor (both are also available now as Technical Accessories) and you’ll then be able to record your lap times, analyze everything about how your bike is running, and so much more…

GASGAS+ App features in a little more detail…

ENGINE – Choose between predefined maps based on the track type, and track conditions, or use the ADVANCED mode to create your map from scratch. The ENGINE feature gives you full control of the Engine Braking, Throttle Response, Traction Control, Launch Control, and Quickshifter sensitivity. You can then save all of your favorite mappings and activate the most suitable one when you arrive at each track, then make changes between sessions or races if you need to.

RIDER – Within this feature of the app, which is powered by LITPro and receives data from the CUO and GPS fitted to the front fender, you can review your session or race by downloading the data into the app for detailed analysis. It offers amazing insights into your riding (lap and section analysis, airtime, corner analysis, and Lap99 analysis) and allows you to visualize your engine data at the same time, with up to 15 values selectable (engine RPM, gear position, throttle position, map switch mode, and many more). Once you download the session you can analyze your performance, compare laps, and compete with others on a virtual leaderboard. The RIDER feature is only available as an annual subscription with a four-week trial period, with pricing then starting at €69,99 in Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Prices are dependent on the ordering country.

SUSPENSION – This feature of the app has two main functions. SAG ASSISTANT helps you find the correct SAG for each individual bike. To achieve this, ‘Bike on Stand’ and ‘Bike with Rider’ are asked by the app when setting the sag. By using the SUSPENSION SETTING section, you can then create multiple, personalized suspension set-ups after inputting your weight in riding gear, and track type and condition. Once you’ve selected your skill level – Basic, Advanced, or Pro – as well as the Track Terrain – Sand, Soft, Medium, or Hard – you’ll be shown recommended settings, which can be fine-tuned and saved for use at other circuits.

The new Connectivity Unit Offroad is available worldwide from February, priced at €149. The GPS sensor is available at €89, with the front fender priced at €39. The GASGAS+ app can be downloaded for free and comes with a 4-week trial of the RIDER feature, afterwards starting at €69.99 annually. Prices dependent on ordering country.

The 2024 GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition is now equipped with even more cutting-edge technology, elevating the riding experience to a whole new level. A groundbreaking Connectivity Unit and GPS Sensor can pair with a smartphone and the GASGAS+ app, allowing riders to easily personalise engine performance and so much more! But that’s not all. As the Factory Editions evolve with each passing year, the 2024 model features plenty of new parts and improved features to make performance and rideability better than ever!

New Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GASGAS Factory Racing replica graphics – Wrapping further around the bodywork edges thanks to a new, in-mould application process creates a bolder, brighter look. For 2024, GASGAS is stoked to put engine tuning into the rider’s hands for the very first time. Simply download the new GASGAS+ app, pair the chosen device with the Connectivity Unit Offroad – installed as standard on every Factory Edition bike – then all of the app’s features are accessible with just a few quick taps!

Within the GASGAS+ app there are three main sections: ENGINE, SUSPENSION and RIDER. The ENGINE feature allows you to customise and control power delivery based on your riding style or the track conditions, while the SUSPENSION feature offers recommended settings for different types of circuits. Multiple set-ups for both the engine and suspension can also be saved for future reference. Last but definitely not least, the RIDER feature is where your lap times are recorded along with the ability to analyze everything about how your bike is running.

GASGAS Unveils Its Revised Trials Line-Up For 2024

All six models available to order this September, from authorised GASGAS dealers worldwide.
One year on from launching the best GASGAS trials bikes ever made, GASGAS is heading full steam into 2024 with an updated line-up, based on the already proven model range. Each of the two TXT GP models have received some tasty upgrades while our four tried, tested and much-loved TXT RACING bikes remain every bit as awesome and super fun to ride.

It only seems like yesterday that GASGAS unveiled the latest and greatest generation of trials bikes. But now, 12 months on, and the best just got better. The bold, modern, and instantly recognisable 2024 bikes are here, with their distinctive red livery. Beyond their easy-on-the-eye appearance, these 2-strokes are the real deal. GASGAS knows that trials riders worldwide absolutely love the unmatched rideability of each bike, which is a result of their agile handling and compact, powerful motors.

For 2024, performance has certainly been spiced up on the TXT GP 250 and TXT GP 300 models. The first thing that draws attention, both visually and while riding, is the Akrapovic exhaust pipe. Made from high-grade titanium, the header pipe is not only 350 grams lighter, but between 2,000rpm and 7,000rpm, there’s a noticeable boost to power, which makes scaling the biggest obstacles even easier than before.

Handling wise, the TXT GP models retain the fully adjustable Tech3 shock that now features a 25% larger reservoir for increased oil capacity. The reason for this revision is simple – less heat builds up which makes damping much more consistent and predictable, even through the gnarliest of technical sections.

Rounding off the exciting changes to both TXT GP bikes are the new, FIM-approved brake discs front and rear, a new gear lever – designed with a shorter tip that’s better at preventing mud from building up, as well as fresh new graphics taken straight from the GASGAS Factory Racing bikes.

Offering next-level rideability, the GASGAS TXT RACING models deliver unrivaled performance and with four popular engine sizes – 125cc, 250cc, 280cc and 300cc – the 2024 range really does offer something for everyone! Each of these models, as well as the TXT GP range, are assembled inside the state-of-the-art GASGAS production facility in Terrassa, Spain, and fitted with quality components throughout. The hottest around when it comes to high-performance trial bikes, the 2024 GASGAS TXT RACING range lets trial riders of all ages and abilities do their thing with serious style.

Motocross | Turning up the heat!

To GASGAS, it doesn’t really matter if you ride motocross for fun or if you race to win. What matters is making sure that all five of our new bikes deliver the very best performance for guaranteed good times in the dirt. For 2024, we’re really turning up the heat in the moto scene. Starting with our little 2-stroke ripper – our beloved MC 125 – through to the MXGP race winning MC 450F 4-stroke, we really do have a bike to suit all types of riders.

GASGAS motocross models are already the best handling dirt bikes out there, but that didn’t stop our engineers from making them perform even better! With each one assembled using new steel frames, new aluminum subframes, and new swingarms, the perfect combination of razor-sharp cornering and straight-line stability is further refined to maximise the fun factor. And to bring our MC 125 and MC 250 2-strokes bang up to date, both bikes fire into life with the simple press of the new electric start button – none of that kickstart nonsense here! Plus, they’re now fuelled by cutting-edge throttle body injection for a crisper response and much-improved on-track performance.

Across the board, all 2024 models are now powered by new, lighter motors, which produce both more torque and high-revving power than ever before. They’re then fitted neatly inside new frames with a slight backwards tilt to lower the front sprocket, centralise the weight, and make the best handling motocross bikes on the planet handle even better!

Enduro | It’s time to rock ‘n’ roll!

So easy, and so much fun to ride. That’s what makes our new generation of enduro bikes so competitive! Spicing up the riding experience in the woods, on the trails, and through every extreme section, these new bikes are as good as it gets when it comes to enduro performance. New bodywork not only makes these bikes easy on the eye, but once onboard, riders will soon notice the larger, and smoother, contact areas, allowing for tighter grip as you get on the gas across challenging terrain. It’s 2024. It’s time to rock ‘n’ roll!

We’ve also added two new models – an EC 450F and an EC 500F. Both big-bore bikes are more suited to open, flowy trails and feature all the same top-level components as the rest of the range. We’re talking Braktec brakes, WP suspension, and enduro-specific PANKL transmissions. Knowing just how beneficial a rear suspension linkage is, we’ve fitted to every GASGAS enduro bike, to make sure that each one soaks up small chop and hard hits with ease. Make no mistake, the best enduro bikes out there just got even better for 2024!

The outgoing generation of GASGAS enduro bikes was already super agile through the trees and super stable at higher speeds. However, thanks to the new motors across the range being both lighter and more powerful, the handling characteristics are amplified further! This was achieved by our engineers repositioning the motors inside the new frames to centralise weight and balance things out a little better. Sounds like a small change, but will soon become evident on the trails.

GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3 to hit the hill at Goodwood Festival of Speed

MotoGP™ will rip around one of the largest and most prestigious annual motorsport ‘meets’ from July 13th to 16th with a hefty presence at the ‘Festival of Speed’ near the southern coast of England, and GASGAS have never turned down the chance to get lively with a throttle. For star rider Pol Espargaro the event will mean a ‘reunion’ with the #44 GASGAS RC16.

GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3 will join some of their paddock peers to parade up the famous Goodwood hill and meet fans of what is expected to be an attendance well over 200,000 from Thursday to Sunday. Tickets have flown as quickly as the wide 2023 display of cars, bikes and other legendary motorsport icons once did around racetracks across the world.

The 30th running of the Festival of Speed comes only a couple of weeks before MotoGP emerges from a summer break and with the British Grand Prix at Silverstone – another track as historic as they come – during the first weekend of August. To mark the occasion and for the special celebration of Grand Prix, GASGAS Factory Racing Tech3 will run the GASGAS RC16s along the Goodwood climb and with Pol Espargaro making his long-awaited return to the saddle on Thursday and Friday and then star rookie, Augusto Fernandez, donning the leathers on Saturday and Sunday.

We’ve unlocked a little more power from the compact MC 450F motor by adding a lightweight Akrapovič Slip-On Line exhaust system, giving significantly improved torque and an overall performance boost. Quick and easy changes in the power delivery can be made thanks to a handlebar mounted Map Select Switch.

For improved handling, the MC 450F Troy Lee Designs motocross bike features firmer WP XACT suspension settings, with the forks held in place by adjustable, red anodized Factory Racing Triple Clamps. For additional comfort, we’ve fitted softer ODI Lock-On grips and installed a TLD Factory Racing seat cover, to keep you firmly in place while getting on the gas.

The MC 450F Troy Lee Designs machine comes fitted with our Factory Wheels, in black. Rock solid and super-cool looking, they’re fitted with Dunlop’s Geomax MX33 tires. We’ve also bolted a Semi-floating Front Disc to the front wheel to improve braking performance with a Front Brake Disc guard keeping the disc safe and out of harm’s way.

Finally, finishing the MC 450F Troy Lee Designs off in style is an extended list of parts from our Technical Accessories range. From front to back, there’s a Factory Start Device, Neken handlebars, a Composite Skid Plate, Hinson Clutch Cover, a red Frame Protection Kit, a black Rear Sprocket, and a gold chain. Plus, to keep on top of service intervals, we’ve installed an Hour Meter, so you’ll never lose track of just how many hours you’ve spent on this awesome bike.
