Quick-Change Communication With Sena Multicom
Quick and easy to transfer between helmets, Sena’s new SMH5 MultiCom communication system is ideal for training schools, tour operators or riders who own more than one helmet.
Communicating at a noisy riding school or guided motorcycle tour can be a challenge, so the SMH5 MultiCom provides four-way intercom functionality, helping to keep a leader or tutor connected to the group. Should things need to be simplified, the static boom microphone can be quickly removed, so riders/pupils can only hear instructions from their coach or tour group leader.
Advanced Noise Control™ technology cuts down on background noise for both incoming and outgoing audio, for crystal clear directions/instructions and feedback.
The SMH5 MultiCom comes with Sena’s simplest attachment system yet, the Quick Clamp, which allows the unit to slide onto or off a helmet shell in seconds.
In addition to the simple installation, the jog dial and large intercom button make for an intuitive user interface that’s easy to control – ideal for those less experienced at using on-bike communications systems. Integrated voice prompts (available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish) help users quickly learn their way around the SMH5.
Bluetooth 3.0 technology gives the ability to make hands-free calls and participate in a one-to-one intercom conversation with another rider, up to 700 meters (760 yards) away. The MultiCom can also be paired with GPS devices, smartphones and MP3 players, for turn-by-turn navigation and music on the move.
A single charge gives up to seven hours of talk time and seven days of standby, and free firmware upgrades ensure the SMH5 is always operating with the latest software.
The new Sena SMH5 MultiCom comes complete with a Mono Speaker, Quick Clamp and Removable Microphone, and everything else needed to get set up and started, and retails for £129.00 including VAT.
