Amped A60 Has LandedThe all-new 2024 Amped A60 electric off-road model has arrived at UK importer Dualways and is available now from it’s nationwide dealer network

The new A60 is fitted with a JYX Brushless Permanent Magnet Motor, capable of delivering an impressive 6kw of peak power with 280Nm of torque.

A market-leading, high-spec Samsung 60v 40AH battery pushes performance to the limit, providing high power output and a fast charge time.

The A60 uses a forged alloy frame and is fitted with the well-known and trusted FAST ACE multi-adjustable front and rear suspension, providing 200mm of movement at both ends for smooth handling in the rough.

The Amped A60 is available in black and red colourways at an RRP of £4495.00 inc VAT

Consolidates Off-Road Range

The latest 10TEN e-bike – MXE-3L.
For over five years, the 10TEN brand has been making an impact on the UK’s off-road scene.

Popular for being competitively-priced and fun, while incorporating high-spec and stylish features backed up with a solid reputation for reliability, 10TEN’s Pit, Dirt and Supermoto-style machines have developed a healthy following of dirt riding enthusiasts.

The range was boosted towards the end of last year when two fully-electric models joined the line-up, taking its number to a total of 13 machines, offering models suitable for youth and adult riders of all ages and abilities.

From the outset, the core models of the 10TEN lineup were the youth 50R and 90R MX and 90R Supermoto, sitting alongside the 125R Pit bike, in two sizes, the 140R in Dirt and Supermoto guises, and the 250R that bridges the gap from Pit to full size motocross bike.

The 250RX motocross bike joined 10TEN towards the end of 2019, increasing the appeal of the marque to young minibike riders through to adult racers. The 250RX provides a larger frame to accommodate its 21” and 18” wheels, a gripper seat, aluminium silencer, and USD forks with adjustable rebound fitted as standard.

Next up from 10TEN was a venture into the rapidly-expanding electric bike market with the user (and wallet) friendly 10TENMX-E. This was quickly followed by the launch of a great-value youth quad, the 10TEN 110 RXR.

10TEN continued to develop its range towards the end of 2022, when two electric bikes in the form of the MX-E3 and MX-E3L were unveiled. The MX-E3 has 19-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels, making it ideal for use by adults and teenagers, either on the track or out on the trail. It boasts a high-power, 72v battery with a motor providing 3kw, a peak power of 12kw, and a 4-speed transmission. A modern chassis with a long-movement suspension package and sleek, modern styling keeps it up to date.

The MXE-3L is a full-size adult bike, perfect for all types of off-road conditions. It has 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels and also features a high-power 72v battery and a motor providing 3kw with a peak power of 12kw, with the addition of a 4-speed transmission. It is fitted with 48mm front forks offering 260mm of travel and a fully adjustable rear shock offering a similar amount of rear wheel travel.

A hot, new 10TEN model is also planned to land later this year.

Amped-up With Amped

The Amped A10 and A16 feature confidence-inspiring safety measures and are available in a range of bright colours. With recommended retail prices of under £400 including VAT, the machines offer a low-cost and silent way of introducing children to the skills of managing a powered two-wheeler by throttle control and balance, without any danger of hot or loose parts catching little legs. Spare batteries are available to keep the Amped pilots on the move, and a six-month warranty is included as standard.

In terms of operation, the introductory A10 is simplicity itself. It uses a 100W motor, powered by a removable18V IBV Lithium battery, and is capable of a top speed of roughly 8-10mph; around the same as that of an adult’s fast walk. The A10 weighs in at just 8.6kg with a junior-friendly seat height of 400mm.

The bigger Amped A16 is aimed at riders aged five years and over. It delivers instant power, with no dragging, and has a choice of two-speed settings; Eco and Boost. In Eco, the A16 is limited to 7.5mph, while on Boost it can reach a speed of up to 12.5mph. The A16 features a rear disc brake for efficient stopping power and, as with the A10, its 18V, 5.2Ah lithium-ion battery is easily removable for charging away from the bike.

New 10TEN MX-E

The fast-selling 10TEN range of off-road bikes from UK distributor Dualways has expanded for 2020 with the introduction of the all-new 10TEN MX-E, the first fully-electric model in the 10TEN line-up.

The MX-E is the perfect bike for beginners eager to get to grips with riding a powered two-wheeler, but without the need to worry about gear and clutch control or hot parts. It also has two power settings, allowing adult supervisors to initially restrict the bike and then increase the power once the rider becomes more confident. This helps young riders to develop their riding skills without the noise and disturbance of a conventional petrol engine.

For peace of mind, the MX-E has a removable lithium battery, which allows the battery to be taken off to charge. This serves as both a security measure – it cannot be ridden away – and a convenience factor, as it can be fully charged in four to six hours and a spare can be kept ready to swap in when required.

New Amped A16 Electric Balance Bike

Dualways, the leading distributor of road-legal and off-road ATVs, off-road bikes and children’s electric bikes, has added a new, larger-framed, e-powered balance bike to its portfolio.

Dualways launched its hugely popular Amped A10 e-powered kids balance bike last year and has now expanded the range to include the all-new Amped A16, the first bike of this genre to feature a fully integrated rear hub motor. This new design means that the power is instant, creating less drag, no noise and very low maintenance.

The A16 not only bridges the gap between conventional youth balance bikes and motorcycles, but provides a stepping stone for young wannabe bikers to get a feel for controlling a bigger machine with a choice of two-speed settings; Eco and Boost mode. In Eco, the A16 is limited to 7.5mph. On Boost the bike is limited to 12.5mph.

On the safety front, the A16 is fitted with a rear disc brake to give excellent stopping power with the slightest input from the rider.

The A16 features an easily-removable 18V, 5.2Ah lithium-ion battery and is suitable for children aged five and over.
