Dial-in day-long comfort with SW-Motech’s new Variable Bar Backs, which allow handlebars to be set to seven different positions in seconds.
Bringing welcome relief from ‘one size fits all’ riding positions, Bar Backs allow handlebars to be pulled back or moved forwards by up to 35 mm – in 5 mm increments – so riders of different shapes and sizes can find their most comfortable position.
They also enable riders to adjust the bars to suit sport, touring and off-road riding.
Unlike fixed ‘up and overs’ or risers, the adjustment allows fine tuning of the upper body position, reducing aches and pains in the back, shoulders and wrist – particularly problematic on longer journeys.
Bar backs also come with a choice of 25, 28 or 30mm of rise for added comfort.
There’s no need to remove and remount the bars, or the Bar Backs themselves, to adjust: simply loosen the allen-key fixing, slide the handlebars to the required position and retighten to secure. Each 5mm increment is engraved into the side, so positioning can be clearly seen.
Their clever design means even the maximum amount of movement won’t affect steering or overstretch cables and hoses – or require the buying and fitting of replacements.
CNC-milled from high-strength aluminium alloy and anodized in a choice of Black, Silver and Anthracite finishes, they fit pretty much any bike with regular handlebar clamps and are available for 22, 28 and 32 mm diameter bars.

Offering the most extensive READY TO RACE competition Enduro lineup on the market, starting with the enduro underdog KTM 150 EXC 2-Stroke and topping out with the class-leading power KTM 500 EXC-F 4-Stroke, the 2023 KTM Enduro range caters to all riders and terrains.
New for 2023, an all-new graphic design and white, purple and orange colour scheme come together into a seamlessly blended palette. Motorcycle delivery van that failed to deliver for its designers for sale with Silverstone auctions on may 14th.

Featured on American Pickers, the cult reality TV show, this Turner By-Van was launched by the Turner Manufacturing Company in the late 1940s under the new “Light Delivery Vehicles” banner as an alternative to a van for smaller businesses and sole traders. It is now for sale with ‘No Reserve’ at Silverstone Auctions on May14th at The Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling.
Mark Bryan of Silverstone Auctions says: “The engine turns with compression but will need restoring or recommissioning. But as it is being auctioned at ‘No Reserve’ it could provide one of the biggest surprises in the sale. Probably the most interesting bike I’ve ever dealt with, I love it”
The machine is powered by a Turner Tiger 168cc two-stroke engine driving the front wheel via a two-speed gearbox. But not every idea is commercially viable and this one joined many other clever ideas in the dustbin of automotive history, making it today one of the most collectible of motorcycling items.
1950 Turner By-Van 168cc – No Reserve – 20 recorded miles
Sold at a price of £120 in the 1950s with a claimed 30mph, it never really took off and subsequently production ceased with only a handful produced. This example appears to have never been registered and shows just 20 recorded miles. It has been in the same family ownership for the last 40 years and is in original and unrestored condition.
The American Pickers show follows antique and collectible ‘pickers’ Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, who travel around the United States and abroad, now and then, to buy or “pick” various items for resale, for clients, or for their personal collections. This very rare By-Van was featured on an episode of the show where Mike and Frank on the hunt here in the UK, tried to buy it.

World Ducati Week 2022 is once again ready to give life to an extraordinary weekend of emotion, passion and fun. The eleventh edition of the international meeting par excellence in the world of two wheels will be held from 22 to 24 July at the “Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli”, and will once again embrace the worldwide family of Ducatisti and all passionate motorcyclists.
World Ducati Week is open to an audience of all nationalities, ages, genders, personalities and backgrounds. From those who love to discover the world by travelling by motorbike between villages and winding roads, to those who devour the track lap after lap and to all motorcyclists who venture into the most exciting off-roads paths. The WDW is a perfect opportunity for everyone to experience the passion for two wheels, all united by a single motto: “Let’s Ride as One”.
For the occasion, the Adriatic coast will be transformed into an unparalleled mix of happiness, roaring engines, track sessions, riding experiences, parades, riders, shows and joy.
There are many events and activities in preparation. Among the most exciting attractions is the Race of Champions, the unique and extraordinary race that sees the Ducati riders compete against each other on the track and put on an unparalleled show, thrilling all the fans present at the Misano World Circuit. The same heroes who compete on circuits all over the world every weekend in the MotoGP, Superbike and Supersport championships.
Tickets for the event can be purchased on the Ducati website and are available in the Biker Pass (participant with motorcycle) and Visitor Pass (passenger or participant on foot) formula, valid for one or all three days of the event.
Both Passes give access to all public areas of the event, with the opportunity to take part for free in many activities, from contests to talks with Ducati engineers, designers and experts, to autograph sessions with the riders. The 3-Day Pass also offers some unmissable opportunities, including a ride on the track with your own motorcycle, test rides of Ducati models and the Ducati Riding Academy classes.
Furthermore, for all WDW ticket holders it will be possible to visit the Ducati factory and Museum in Borgo Panigale at a reduced cost.
Admission to the event is free for accompanied minors up to the age of 18, for all participants from non-European countries and for people with disabilities and their companions.
Also for this edition, there is a special rate for young people aged between 18 and 25, who can take advantage of the Rookie rate, valid for both the day ticket and the 3-day pass.

Now In Its Eighth Season As Official Tire Supplier To MotoAmerica, Dunlop Onboard Through 2025 With New Three-Year Deal.
MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series, is pleased to announce that Dunlop will remain as the Official Tire Supplier to the championship through 2025 with the series inking a new three-year contract with the high-performance tire manufacturer.
The 2022 season marks Dunlop’s eighth as the spec tire for all six classes of the Auto Parts 4 Less MotoAmerica Championship.
“Dunlop has been a wonderful partner with us since we started MotoAmerica in 2015,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “This will be our third three-year agreement with Dunlop and that shows the confidence we have in each other going forward. Borgo Panigale Experience: the doors of the Ducati Museum and Factory reopen full time.
The Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer is gearing up to welcome its fans again at full speed: starting from 21 April, visits to the Ducati Museum and Factory will resume throughout the week.
The Ducati Museum will be accessible from Monday to Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00, with one closing day on Wednesday. In the halls of the Museum, located in the heart of the Ducati factory in Bologna, visitors will be able to discover the most iconic racing and road bikes that have made the history of the brand, along with many unique anecdotes and details.
The tour inside the Ducati Factory, which allows enthusiasts to live the unique experience of walking through the production lines and observing what happens in the factory where the Ducati motorcycles take shape, can be booked every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with two rounds of visits, the first at 9:30 and the second at 15:30.
The ticket price for admission only to the Ducati Museum is € 17, while the ticket with combined entrance to the Ducati Museum and guided Factory tour costs € 32. Both routes are subject to limited admission with reservations required online only. Furthermore, until further notice, it will be mandatory to wear a surgical mask and respect the interpersonal safety distance of at least 1 meter for the duration of the stay.
On the occasion of the full reopening of the Museum, starting from 23 April the exhibition will be enriched by a new addition: the original and legendary Paul Smart’s ‘750 Imola’. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the victory of the legendary rider at the 1972 Imola 200 Miles race , his bike will be added to the 42 motorcycles already present in the Museum for a limited period of time.
With this temporary exhibition, Ducati wishes to pay homage to a milestone in its motorcycle heritage and recall the memory of an extraordinary and exciting race, which forever marked the unique and profound bond between the British champion and the Borgo Panigale company.
To keep in touch with all enthusiasts even from a distance, a new free virtual tour will also be available on the Ducati website from 21 April, which further enriches the Borgo Panigale Experience digital offer. In this new mode it will be possible to independently explore some areas of the Ducati factory, from the entrance, to the Visitor Centre to all the halls of the Museum.

Yesterday it was announced that Yamaha will participate in the Africa Eco Race and in this announcement it was revealed that global leaders in transport for healthcare, Riders for Health has become Yamaha’s title partner for the race to raise awareness for its projects.
Now, Yamaha is happy to officially announce a three-year partnership with Riders for Health, a humanitarian organisation which provides accessible healthcare to some of the most remote communities in regions across Africa by supplying and maintaining motorcycles and other suitable vehicles to health-focused organisations.
For more than 30 years, Riders for Health has been providing suitable transport to health care workers across some of the poorest and most hard to reach regions of Africa where citizens often find themselves without the basic health care that many of us take for granted.

The 20th edition of the BMW Motorrad Days will take place on 2 & 3 July 2022 at the exhibition grounds in Berlin.
Directly after the Pure&Crafted Festival (1 July), the world’s largest BMW Motorrad meeting will attract the international fan community to the German capital for the first time.

The F.F.C Fasten Fit Control internal lacing system, which is linked to the boot lining by a high-tenacity lace, ensures a precise fit and greater sensitivity when riding, and the micro-adjustable, quick-release aluminium buckle is designed to adapt perfectly to various calf shapes.
The innovative AIR TECH lining is a soft-touch mesh providing ultimate breathability, paired with a double density foam for superior comfort around the ankle.
Fully CE-certified and reinforced with a Double Flex Control System, the boots offer greater protection than before whilst still allowing front and rear flexibility. The boots feature newly-designed PU reinforcements in the most vulnerable areas of the foot, such as the shin, ankle, heel and toe, as well as magnesium heel sliders which are interchangeable and highly resistant to wear, and allow for natural sliding across the tarmac in the event of a fall.
TCX RT-RACE PRO AIR
The Race RT Pro Air is fitted with a MICHELIN® BURNOUT sole. Inspired by the MICHELIN® “Power Supersport Evo” tyre, the sole features a tread with differentiated grip zones, designed to guarantee superior grip onto the peg and greater resistance to wear and tear.
Closing features an outside elastic zip with a velcro tab as well as a micro-adjustable buckle that has a PU toothed band all designed to allow for a perfect fastening.

Available in brand new colourways for 2022 is the TCX RT-RACE boots, now available in Black/Grey with a large red TCX logo, and Black/White/Grey with a speckled white/grey design aspect.
Similar to the RT-RACE PRO AIR, the upper is made from durable, lightweight, microfibre and features and an over-injected front and side panel to allow for an easy step in, as well as the F.F.C Fasten Fit Control for a secure fit. A newly-designed, abrasion-resistant microfibre heat guard helps to offer the best protection and grip on the bike frame.
The breathable lining offers superior comfort around the ankle thanks to the soft-touch mesh combined with double density foam. The newly designed polyurethane shin plate with iron mesh allows for the intake of air adding to the boots’ breathability.
For natural sliding on tarmac, the CE-certified boots feature replaceable abrasion-resistant polyurethane toe sliders and replaceable magnesium and polyurethane heel sliders. The sole is lightweight and made from a mono compound rubber sole with a specific grip area. With an Ortholite® extra-light and durable footbed, the RT-RACE boot allows for the perfect amount of flexibility and comfort whilst remaining secure and protective when out riding.
Available in Black, and new Black/White/Grey and Black/Grey/Red options, the RT-Race is available in EU 38-49 (UK 5-14), with RRP £249.99.
