GIVI MAXIA 5: welcome to the future
After years of evolution achieved through constant hard work, innovation and active listening, GIVI launches the fifth version of its MAXIA – an elegant top case, with futuristic touches and the latest technology, which responds to one of the main needs of motorbike users: storage capacity. The versatility of this modern top case makes it the perfect companion for long routes, as well as the ideal ally for everyday life.
GIVI, the Italian motorbike and motorcycling equipment company, launched the first version of the MAXIA top case, the E50, in 1991. 32 years later, the essence of that first top case has been maintained, with which the brand sought to solve the need for extra space of those who get about on a motorbike or travel longer distances on it. But everything else has evolved into a high-end product with the latest technology, a top case whose versatility makes it an unbeatable option for urbanites as well as for those who enjoy long trips on two wheels.
The versatile fifth version of this iconic suitcase is a complete redesign, where elegance and sophistication are still present, but with a futuristic character. Thanks to the application of the Innovative Molding process, the MAXIA 5, features an optimised weight of 5.4 kilos and boasts a greater strength than its predecessor. Its total capacity is 58 litres (the size of two modular helmets), making it the largest plastic top case from GIVI in its sector. In addition, its bottom is covered with a mat to prevent objects from sliding around and it has a cover to store documentation.
It’s also equipped with a Security Lock (double hook lock for greater security) and opening and closing is much easier than the previous model, thanks to the incorporation of comb-type hinges with end stop. As a result, it’s only necessary to exert light pressure on the lid to close it. What’s more, the adhesion between lid and bottom has been improved, thus increasing the case’s anti-theft security.
The MAXIA 5 top case features four customisable aluminium-coloured overlaps (which improve the aforementioned resistance), a red reflector that runs along the entire front of the lid and two chrome-plated trims on the front of the bottom.
GIVI also offers a range of optional accessories for this model, including a black foam backrest, a document holder in technical fabric and a specific inner bag.

Touratech comfort seat for the Harley-Davidson Pan America
With its beefy Revolution Max 1250 engine, track-stable suspension system and generous on-board space, the Harley-Davidson Pan America is made for epic rides. But even a thoroughly successful vehicle like the Pan Am still offers plenty of scope for individualisation and optimisation.
For example, when it comes to the seat: The different statures of riders alone make a compromise in the design of standard equipment unavoidable. Not so with the Touratech comfort seat. This two-part design offers riders a choice of three different heights. Seat core made of ergonomically shaped special foam
For a start, there is the high-grade core made of suitable quality foam, which is specific to the model and does not lose its shape even on the longest stages. The shape of the core is anatomically optimised. This means that not only is the contour completely free of disturbing edges but the special shaping also provides efficient relief for the coccyx and supports an upright sitting position. Thanks to the ingenious shaping of the contour, the Touratech comfort seat has a reduced inner leg curve length so that the rider’s feet reach the ground more easily although the seat height remains the same.
Through bonding the foam core and the seat cover over the entire surface, these two components are prevented from shifting independently. The result is wonderfully firm seating and optimum power transmission for precise handling. In addition, Fresh Touch technology reflects the infra-red part of sunlight, which results in up to 10 degrees less heat-up of the seat. Unlike other suppliers, Touratech has been using waterproof taped seams for more than 15 years, effectively preventing the penetration of water into the foam core.
Two-part concept with maximum compatibility
Riders opting for the Touratech comfort seat retain full use of the standard height adjustment.
And the Touratech developers have also given a lot of thought to the pillion seat. Here, too, a foam mixture is used that is particularly suitable for long stages. In addition, a modified contour effectively prevents the passenger from sliding forward, considerably increasing the comfort of riding with a partner.

The new Touratech Storm rain suit
Touratech has reinterpreted the classic rain suit using the latest textile technology. And for good reason: Even in the age of membrane inserts, the tried-and-tested principle of the extra outer layer is far from obsolete. Because unlike in the case of inserts, where the wetness first penetrates the suit as far as the waterproof layer, in this classic combination, the rain stays where it belongs: outside.
One might think that’s nothing new, we had that 60 years ago already. But far from it. With the Storm, Touratech merges the basic principle of the classic rain suit with the capabilities of the most modern functional clothing.
Waterproof and breathable: laminate with Hydratex technology
The robust blended fabric of the outer material is bonded with a Hydratex Lite membrane to form a completely windproof and waterproof laminate. However, the micropores of the membrane allow effective water vapour transport from the inside to the outside. This means that sweating is not an issue if you’re wearing the Touratech Storm – even during physical exertion.
This suit also has reflective sections that greatly improve the visibility of the rider in unfavourable light conditions.
With its two-piece design, the Touratech Storm rain suit is much easier to put on than a classic one-piece rain suit. In addition, the large adjustable Velcro system allows it to be pulled over your boots easily and ensures a tight-fitting leg closure regardless of the type of motorcycle boot worn. Additional Velcro straps enable individual width adjustment. And last but not least, the elastic waistband adjusts perfectly to the figure of the rider.

This top case that comes in natural aluminium with a 56 litre, 10kg capacity (big enough to hold two modular helmets), complements the side cases of the Alaska range. It has MONOKEY® fastening, which allows the same key to be used for locking, opening and releasing the rack, and a WIRELEASE® system, which allows the rack to be released by turning an external lever equipped with a patented cable system and located directly under the Security Lock. It is also equipped with two handles at the rear, which incorporate the robust lid latches, offering the possibility of increasing the opening without the use of retaining cables. It also has four belt-loop straps integrated into the lid structure and is prepared for attaching the backrest. Its gasketed and silicone-sealed rivets ensure a watertight seal, while the hooks inside secure the luggage at all times.
Designed especially for those who ride every day, this top case from GIVI has amaximum capacity of 36 litres and 3kg and features a clean carbon fibre finish. It includes a grill, universal fixing kit and MONOLOCK® system, whereby the lid can be opened and the case removed with the same key. This off-road full-face helmet, which complies with the latest and most stringent European standard ECE 22R06, is made of thermoplastic material. It has three front air intakes, two upper air intakes and one in the chin guard area, as well as a rear extractor, which guarantees correct air circulation. It has fastening straps, a roll-down strap system to guarantee waterproofing and an external upper pocket independent of the main space, as well as an additional load kit consisting of 2 removable straps with hooks, which can be attached to 4 hypalon carriers located in the bag. Likewise, it includes removable straps for conversion into a backpack, side wings for carrying by hand and holes for draining water/damp at the base of the bag.
XL03 – Roll-top cargo bag, extendable from 39 to 52 litres and usable as a backpack
Its characteristics are practically the same as the XL02. Designed for any touring or adventure motorcycle, it is adaptable to be mounted on top cases complete with belt-strap loops, and on racks or passenger seats.
XL04 – Tanklock tankbag, expandable from 15 to 20L.
Designed for the BMW R1200/1250 GS/Adventure and the KTM 1290 Adventure S and R, this thermoformed bag must be combined with the specific BF_ _ flanges. It includes a map holder with magnetic rapid attach/release, holes to drain water/humidity from the base, an external pocket independent of the main space, a port for cable output compatible with the GIVI Power Hub charging system, a security strap to attach to the handlebars and a handle for transport.
XL05 – Tanklock tankbag, expandable from 15 to 18L.
Designed for the Honda Africa Twin versions (from 2016 to 2021), it must be paired with the specific BF25 metallic adapter. Its features and equipment are the same as the XL04.
XL06 – Tanklock tankbag, expandable from 15 to 20L.
This model is universal and must be combined with the specific BF_ _ flanges (depending on the motorcycle model in question), which are fasten to the fuel cap. It has the same features and equipment as the XL04.

Take your bike back to basics, wherever and whenever you want
GIVI have extended their range of supports for bags and cases with the introduction of the new Remove X line. An idea that all riders have thought about at some point has come to fruition, with the R&D department of the brand specialising in the design and manufacture of accessories making it a reality to improve the aesthetics of the bike at the same time. Remove X is the new GIVI soft bag attachment system that was created with the mission of stabilising the position of the saddlebags on the motorcycle, with the particular feature that they can be almost completely unhooked from the vehicle with the simple movement of a lever. This leaves only a small anchored support that will go unnoticed and that will allow the rider to show off the original profile of their motorcycle.
The Remove X system is made up of a small support that remains on the motorcycle and two bars (where the saddlebags are secured through the use of straps), with the ability to remove and reposition the luggage using a lever. Scouting the Adventure Country Track across the Pyrenees, the Touratech test team ascertained that the Pan America is indeed a serious player in this sector. And it’s no wonder that numerous concepts for accessories ideal for adventures big and small were born out of this tough ride.
The Pan America provided an open flank in terms of vehicle protection in offroad use. The developers saw great potential, in terms of remedying the danger to the engine from flying stones and impacts and providing fall protection for radiators, tank and bodywork, and developed solutions. Comprehensive protection is provided through the combination of the Expedition engine guard and the crash bars. The protector package is rounded off by radiator and manifold guards, as well as headlight protectors, with versions available in either metal or Makrolon.

Touratech luggage plate XL for Yamaha Ténéré 700
It’s not only veteran travellers who know that luggage stowed on a motorcycle should be as close to the centre of gravity as possible. It therefore makes no sense for solo travellers to fix their luggage roll right at the back on a rack. Experienced riders strap their rolls to the pillion seat.
But the fastening options in this position are often limited, and the bench foam does not provide an ideal base either. For the Lonesome Rider on a Yamaha Ténéré 700, Touratech now has the perfect solution in the form of the luggage plate XL with which you can lash even the largest luggage rolls securely, with a low centre of gravity.
The luggage plate XL not only replaces the pillion seat, it provides a flat surface, reaching over the mudguard – where the luggage rack normally sits. The luggage plate XL is definitely not lacking in robustness. An aluminium adapter plate with stainless steel hooks snaps exactly into the original locking mechanism of the pillion seat. The device is locked with the standard lock, operated with the ignition key. In addition, rubber buffers ensure a play-free fit.
The actual luggage plate is made of black anodised aluminium with a sturdy thickness of four millimetres. Generous material recesses keep the weight within practical limits. The straight lines, forming an exact extension of the surface of the rider’s seat, prevent the creation of an edge so that coccyx injuries, for example during rough off-road use, are excluded.
To enable secure lashing to meet any terrain, the luggage plate XL has generously dimensioned strap eyelets. Rack packs can be attached either classically crosswise to the direction of travel or lengthwise.
The grips at the rear of the frame remain fully accessible, and there is nothing to prevent the simultaneous use of a ZEGA aluminium pannier system.

Travel Like a Pro with SW Motech
Designed to fit on almost any bike in minutes, the PRO Travelbag has a specially-shaped, anti-slip underside, which sits on the passenger seat. It’s then secured using four heavy-duty straps, featuring SW-Motech’s patented lashing hooks.
