Monster 30° Anniversario: Ducati celebrates the motorcycle symbol of the naked world

Ducati celebrates 30 years of the Monster with a model in a numbered series limited to 500 units. The Monster 30° Anniversario version is the Bologna based manufacturer’s tribute to a motorcycle that revolutionised the world of two wheels and which since 1993 has won over the passion of more than 350,000 Monsteristi all over the world.

The Monster has always been this: a sporty engine, perfect for road use, chassis derived from the Superbike, wide handlebars and no fairing. An idea as simple as it is effective, which made it possible to create the motorcycle that reinvented the naked segment and which over the years has evolved several times while always remaining faithful to the original idea. This special version also maintains the iconic features of the Monster models: an unmistakable style and maximum fun on the road. Its true nature emerges at the very first glance thanks to the Tricolour 30th Anniversary livery inspired by the sportiest Monsters of the past. This livery celebrates Made in Italy, of which Ducati is an ambassador, and is embellished by the gold colour of the rims, specially made for this model, and of the Öhlins NIX30 fork. Other distinctive elements of this model are a seat embellished with an embroidered 30-year logo and the dedicated animation of the dashboard that starts when the ignition is switched on. Finally, each motorcycle is made unique by a plate on the upper clamp with the model’s name and copy number, certificate of authenticity and dedicated motorcycle cover. The Monster 30° Anniversario is equipped with components which, in addition to enhancing its appearance, also improve its dynamic qualities and allow it to arrive at a curb weight of 184 kg, or 4 kg less than the standard model, already the benchmark in the category for lightness. This milestone is even more important if we consider that components, and therefore weight, such as the steering damper and the windshield have been added compared to the standard model.
The Monster, a modern reinterpretation of the original recipe, is a light, easy-to-handle and fast motorcycle. It is powered by the Testastretta 11° engine, a liquid-cooled 4-valve twin-cylinder with desmodromic timing and 111 horsepower. An extremely reliable and undemanding engine from the point of view of maintenance, thanks to main intervals spread over time (15,000 km for oil changes and 30,000 km for valve clearance checks). It has a full power delivery curve at all revs, especially at medium-low ones, the most used on the road. This means a more responsive engine, which translates into greater riding pleasure.

Extremely functional and effective, the chassis of the new Monster transfers the inspiring principles of the Ducati Superbikes to a road bike. The engine is load-bearing, and a Front Frame is connected to it which conceptually recalls that of the Panigale V4.
The fully adjustable Öhlins suspension  boasts a fork that is 0.6 kg lighter than the one used on the Monster and Monster+, and improves the feeling, as well as increasing ground clearance and consequently lean angle. The suspension setup is sporty, and this allows the Monster 30° Anniversario to give great fun when riding on mixed roads, but also between the curbs of a circuit. The Öhlins equipment is completed with an adjustable steering damper that increases precision and accuracy at the highest pace.

The braking system features Brembo Stylema® front calipers (-0.4 kg than the ones on the Monster) and aluminium flanges for the 320 mm front brake discs (0.5 kg lighter than standard on the Monster) and makes the Monster 30° Anniversario perform better in braking and nimbler thanks to a reduction of inertia at the front end. The bike’s nimble character is further improved thanks to the brand-new forged rims, which reduce unsprung weight by 1.86 kg , decreasing the moment of inertia of the front wheel by 21.8% and the rear by 26.9%.
The electronics of the Monster are at the top of the segment. Standard equipment includes ABS Cornering, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Wheelie Control, all of which can be adjusted to different levels of intervention. The sporty character of the new Monster 30° Anniversario is also highlighted by the Launch Control which ensures lightning-fast starts. This top-of-the-range motorcycle equipment, which also includes the adoption of a lithium battery that contributes to the reduction of the total weight of the motorcycle, allows the Monster 30° Anniversario to safely express its performance.

The three Riding Modes – Sport, Road and Wet – allow the Monster’s character to be shaped according to the rider’s tastes and needs. Everything is easily managed through the handlebar controls and the 4.3″ colour TFT dashboard, featuring racing graphics that recall those of the Panigale V4, with a large rev counter and a complete set of information on the left, including that of the gear engaged.

The Easy Lift function now available also on the Ducati Multistrada V4 S

The Easy Lift function is now also arriving on the Multistrada V4 S, making it easier to lift the bike from the side stand.

Introduced with the Multistrada V4 Rally, the function acts on the suspension hydraulics by fully opening the valves of the semi-active units for around three minutes when the ignition is turned on. In this way the front and rear suspension are softened, making it easier to lift the bike from the stand.

Confirming the continued attention that Ducati reserves for its enthusiasts, the update is made available both as a standard feature on new bikes and, free of charge, for those who already own a Multistrada V4 S. Customers will be contacted through the MyDucati App ( downloadable here) and via email and they can then go to their trusted Ducati Service to receive updates*.

This function increases the accessibility of the Multistrada V4 S for riders of different builds, adding to the possibility of changing the seat position to two different heights. These are combined with saddles of different height and the motorcycle lowering set offered as accessories.

The Easy Lift function adds to the Minimum Preload in order to make the Multistrada V4 accessible to the widest possible public. Introduced in 2022, this function allows you to reduce the height of the bike by resetting the shock absorber preload.  This makes it easier and safer to put your feet on the ground when manoeuvring at low speed, especially with a passenger on board.

The Multistrada V4, the technological flagship of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer, was the first motorcycle in the world to be equipped with front and rear radar. A solution that has made it possible to introduce the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) systems, which improve riding comfort and safety, especially on long journeys. The Multistrada V4 has also introduced the Phone Mirroring solution, which transforms the dashboard into a colour map navigator with all the necessary information for riding the bike. This solution has been subject to continuous refinements and updates, all transferred free of charge to Ducatisti who already own a Multistrada V4.

Along with the radar system and the Easy Lift, Ducati has introduced many other firsts in the motorcycle field through the Multistrada family, like the Riding Modes in the 2010 Model Year. The goal of the Bologna-based manufacturer is to improve the bikes by anticipating the wishes of Ducatisti, introducing new features and bringing updates to the bikes already on the road. A mission that is accomplished through continuous investment in research and development, which places Ducati among the most technologically advanced companies in the sector.

The Multistrada V4 also has benchmark maintenance intervals , with valve clearance checks set every 60,000 km and all models in the family come with the exclusive “4Ever Ducati” warranty, valid for 4 years with unlimited mileage**.

The Multistrada V4 family, comprising the Multistrada V4 S, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and Multistrada V4 Rally, allows Ducatisti to travel without borders in complete serenity, being able to count on a network of over 800 official dealers in more than 90 markets.

The Roadside Assistance programme, offered on all Multistrada V4s, provides roadside assistance, transport for rider and passenger, repairs, a replacement vehicle and accommodation in four-star hotels in case of faults occurring during the warranty period.

* The software update campaign will start from EU countries and gradually extend to America, Australia, Japan and APAC countries
** The “4Ever Multistrada” guarantee is valid in EU countries only

Streetfighter V4: sportier and lighter with Ducati Performance accessories

The Streetfighter V4, which in the fifth episode of the Ducati World Première 2023 was the protagonist of the evolution of the entire family with the V4, V4 S and V4 SP2 models, represents a benchmark for performance in the segment of super sports naked bikes. In 2023, the Streetfighter V4 followed in the footsteps of the Panigale V4 family, pushing even further the concepts of the “Fight Formula”, the key elements of which are the Panigale V4 stripped of its fairings, high and wide handlebars, 178 kg in weight, 208 hp Desmosedici Stradale engine, biplane wings and latest generation electronics package.

The Ducati Performance accessories catalogue offers numerous ideas for making the Streetfighter V4 even lighter and promoting its sporty nature, with components that enhance its aesthetics and dynamic aspects, transforming each Streetfighter V4 into a truly one-of-a-kind model, according to the taste and personality of the owner.

The Sport package  brings together various accessories to underline the racing soul of the Streetfighter V4, also allowing you to save on the purchase of individual components. This proposal focuses on the refined construction quality of the billet aluminium components, such as the fuel tank cap, the brake and clutch levers and the handlebar counterweights, and on the elegance of the dynamic LED indicators, which are reflected in the carbon fibre of the light license plate holder . The tank cap is equipped with an anti-tampering system, with the key bearing the Ducati shield. Counterweights protect the handlebars in the event of a slide and help to reduce vibrations.

The Streetfighter V4 can become even more aggressive and sporty thanks to numerous carbon fibre parts such as front and rear mudguards (also compatible with the use of track tyres and tyre warmers), instrument cover, which improves aerodynamic protection, tank cover, pinion cover and biplane wings, made of structural carbon fibre. These components, in addition to enhancing the racing personality of the Streetfighter V4, also improve the bike’s power/weight ratio.

The homologated Akrapovič silencers make it possible to further lighten the Streetfighter V4, with a weight saving of 0.8 kg. The titanium alloy body and carbon end caps guarantee lightness and resistance to high temperatures and combined with the honeycomb grille at the gas outlet hole, give the naked supersport bike from Borgo Panigale an even more aggressive look.

The beauty of the Streetfighter V4 is also made up of details that gratify the eye of the most attentive enthusiast: technical parts such as the brake and clutch fluid reservoirs, or the oil filler cap, made from billet aluminium, anodised to maintain the original appearance over time and enhance the racing look of the bike. Those who would like to make the touch on the handlebar even more pleasant can mount a pair of racing grips, designed to reduce perceived vibrations and guarantee optimal grip in all situations, avoiding involuntary slipping of the hands.

Finally, those who wish to harness the power of the Streetfighter V4 on circuit can adopt the full Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, developed in collaboration with Ducati Corse. With a noise level of less than 105 dB, it does not preclude use on days with noise limits, while still guaranteeing a significant increase in performance. The weight saving is 5.5 kg, the power and torque gain at mid-range is 6%. The exhaust is delivered together with a racing-derived polyester air filter and a dedicated mapping, with which all the DTC – DWC – DPL and DSC parameters are adapted to the bike’s increased performance. The exhaust must be fitted with the specific carbon fibre protection.

The entire range of accessories is available on the Ducati.com website, where in the “Configurator” section you can choose your favourite components to make your Streetfighter V4 unique and share them with your nearest dealer.

Electronic innovation, the Ducati way

Every Ducati is a magical mix of beauty and technology. A unique balance that the Bologna-based company has been able to build up over the years, combining attention to design with the constant work of R&D in the field of innovation.

From the Multistrada V4 to the Scrambler, passing through the Panigale V4, each model is designed to offer Ducatisti only the best, thanks to sophisticated solutions capable of giving them unforgettable experiences every time they are on the bike.

In this sense, electronics play a fundamental role, and it is for this reason that, especially in the last 15 years, Ducati has invested daily in the development of cutting-edge technologies.

The electronic solutions make it possible to refine the character of each bike according to the intended use: whether it is to enable the best performance on the track with the Panigale V4 or to provide the most comfortable and exciting journey possible with the Multistrada V4.

Thanks to this awareness, over the years Ducati has introduced many of the solutions that later became standard on motorcycles in the various segments.

The innovations introduced by Ducati
In 2008, with the 1098R, Ducati was the first motorcycle manufacturer to introduce Traction Control on a motorcycle, moving the performance and safety benchmarks of super sports bikes forward. Just one year later, the LED headlight  introduced on the Streetfighter 1100 represented another Ducati world first. In 2010, Ducati presented the first motorcycle in the world capable of “changing character” thanks to the presence of the Riding Modes: the Multistrada 1200 S. Other electronic innovations introduced by Ducati include the TFT instrumentation of the Diavel, in 2011, another example of a technical solution that has now become a standard on motorcycles in every segment. In 2012, the 1199 Panigale, which received the prestigious design award, the Compasso d’Oro, saw the introduction in the motorcycle field of the Full-LED light cluster and electronic engine brake management.
Since safety is a very important aspect for Ducati, in 2014 the Bologna-based company, together with Dainese, introduced the first motorcycle with an integrated system capable of communicating with the airbag  in the jacket: the Multistrada 1200 Touring D|Air. At the time, airbag systems did not guarantee current safety standards, while the sophisticated Multistrada 1200 Touring D|Air system sent the activation signal in just 20 milliseconds in the event of a crash or slide. In 2018 Ducati introduced the Slide By Brake system that allows controlled power sliding under braking on the Panigale V4, while in 2020, with the Multistrada V4, Ducati was the first motorcycle manufacturer to introduce radars to the world of two wheels, which allowed the implementation of the Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection systems. 2023 saw the arrival of extended deactivation on the Multistrada V4 Rally, a sophisticated system which, by switching off the two rear cylinders, reduces fuel consumption and heat. These are the  innovations introduced by Ducati in the world of two wheels, many of which are now standard on motorcycles “over 500 cc”.

In addition to working to introduce new technical solutions to the market, Ducati R&D works every day to evolve and perfect existing bikes, improving them year after year. This is what happened, for example, with Multistrada V4 owners, who received the Minimum Preload and Easy Lift systems free of charge when they were introduced on later models, and who continue to benefit from navigation system upgrades. Or the evolution that the Panigale V4 has undergone from 2018 to today.

Creating safe, high-performance and accessible motorcycles is the basis of the development of every Ducati, which thanks to all these innovations and the continuous development of solutions already on the market, today offers a range in which each model represents a technological benchmark in the segment to which it belongs, also in terms of safety, given that all Ducati motorcycles are equipped as standard with ABS Cornering and Traction Control.

Ducati’s approach is to develop internally the technologies to be introduced on its motorcycles, together with its suppliers,  simultaneously creating know-how within the Company. Concrete examples are the close collaboration with Pirelli, Brembo, Bosch and other suppliers with which the Bologna-based manufacturer participates in the development of components which are first mounted on the Ducati bikes. This approach is even more valuable when it comes to electronics because it allows Ducati to have full control over the technologies implemented, thus being able to customize them without constraints depending on the application, from the Panigale V4 to the Scrambler via the Streetfighter, Diavel, DesertX and the Multistrada V4, which represents the maximum expression of Ducati electronic technology.

Electrical & Electronic Systems: development and creation of expertise
The drive towards innovation in electronics goes hand in hand with the growth of the Electrical & Electronic Systems department, which has seen its resources quadruple in just over ten years. Through the work of this department, which is part of R&D, Ducati studies, develops and introduces new and often innovative systems into series production, obviously also drawing on experience from racing competition. The constant work of developing and refining the technical and technological solutions has introduced a very broad range of functions and devices across the entire range, which today varies from the state-of-the-art available on the Panigale V4 and Multistrada V4, to systems such as Ride-by-wire, Traction Control, Quickshift, Riding Mode, Cornering ABS and TFT instruments also on more accessible models such as the Scrambler.

Ducati innovation also involves new working methods. In addition to developing new technologies internally, Ducati has had several internal laboratories within the company for several years to carry out tests during the development phase, without necessarily having to rely on external resources or suppliers. One of these is Electrical & Electronic Testing which is responsible for testing the electrical and electronic components of the bikes in the range, putting them to the test to measure their quality and duration over time. The purpose of this activity is twofold: to quickly solve the problems that may arise during the development phases and to monitor the quality of the already existing models.

Among the tests that are carried out by highly specialized personnel in the Electrical & Electronic Testing laboratory there are those for verifying the functioning of the components in extreme thermal and environmental conditions, made possible thanks to the use of cells capable of replicating temperatures ranging from –40°C to 180°C and atmospheric events such as heavy rain or salt mist. The components are also put under stress by means of robots which repeat operations thousands of times, such as, for example, the rotation of the handlebar to check the correct reliability of the wiring, or other operations such as the brake lever to turn on the brake light, in order to verify its resilience in real conditions of use.

Furthermore, inside the laboratory, we go as far as controlling each individual chip, even by sectioning them to analyse them under a microscope and verify their exact composition and consistency with the development specifications.

Software debugging and mobile app activities are also carried out within Electrical & Electronic Testing. Over the years, connectivity is also becoming an increasingly important aspect in the motorcycle field and, given the growing number of smartphone manufacturers and the constant updating of the various operating systems, the presence of a group of people within the Company who deal with this aspect represents an added value to always keep up with the times. An example of this work can be found in navigation systems: from the Phone Mirroring solution adopted on the Multistrada V4, which makes it possible to transform the dashboard into a colour map navigator containing all the information required for riding the motorbike, to the Turn-by-Turn  system which was introduced in 2023 on the DesertX and Diavel V4. These two solutions allow Ducati not to be bound to a specific operating system but allow compatibility with iOS and Android systems and the continuous evolution of the software which is then updated free of charge for customers.

All of this is “the Ducati way”. A working methodology that has allowed Ducati to create increasingly innovative products with improved quality year after year, testifying to how the strategic commitments of the Bologna-based manufacturer, from racing competition to R&D, passing through investments in experimentation, are aimed, year after year, at giving Ducatisti the bikes of their dreams.

Innovations introduced by Ducati as world firsts:

  • 2008, DTC Traction Control – 1098 R
  • 2009, LED headlight – Streetfighter 1100
  • 2010, Riding Modes – Multistrada 1200 S
  • 2011, TFT instrumentation – Diavel
  • 2012, Electronic Engine Brake Management (EBC) and full-LED headlight – Panigale 1199

Powerstage RR Limited Edition: The first carbon-framed Ducati e-MTB

The e-MTB range for 2024 expands with the introduction of the Powerstage RR Limited Edition, Ducati’s most exclusive e-enduro model developed to tackle the most extreme off-road conditions. The name Powerstage, in fact, recalls a new type of special stage recently introduced in the e-enduro circuits which consists in tackling, in addition to the classic downhill stages, a technical uphill route, testing both the skills of athletes competing in the races and the performance level of the vehicle.

Powerstage RR Limited Edition is a concentration of technology and advanced components, defined by eliminating compromises with the aim of offering maximum performance.

The “full carbon” frame has undergone lengthy testing on the toughest routes with a single goal: to guarantee maximum performance in the enduro field. The choices on the arrangement of the carbon layers and on the types of fibre intertwining are the result of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) which allows to identify the points subject to greater stress, which therefore require greater strength. More attention to stiffness has been given to the steering area, the rear chain stay and the engine area reinforced by two ribs (T-Ribs).

On the frame there are many other high-quality functional details, such as the passage of internal cables, protected by a steering stop system (T-Stopper), bearings on the joints, in direct contact with the carbon without the use of bushings and an asymmetrical rear chain stay, which in addition to a captivating design offers better responsiveness and uphill traction.

The geometric solutions adopted make the Powerstage RR extremely fast and stable on the roughest routes. The verticalised 78° seat tube angle allows the rider to assume an optimal position in the saddle on technical uphill sections, and a slack 64° head tube angle helps to overcome any obstacle at top speeds.

The new Shimano EP801 drive unit represents a benchmark for the category and maintains the native characteristics of the EP8: 250 Watts of nominal power and 85 Nm of torque, always delivered with the utmost fluidity and naturalness over a wider cadence range than ever before. The new system features two preconfigured assistance profiles: “long ride”, to favour autonomy on long tours and “fast ride”, to enjoy maximum performance on shorter outings. By means of the “Fine Tune” mode present on the Shimano “E-Tube Project” app, it is possible to create your own profiles thanks to the extensive possibilities for customising the electric assistance. The removable 630Wh Shimano battery is positioned inside the “verticalised” downtube in order to lower the centre of gravity, improving the balance of the bike.

The Öhlins RXF38 m.2 air fork (180 mm travel) and the Öhlins m.2 spring shock absorber with TTX technology (170 mm travel) are fully adjustable in both rebound and compression, at high and low speeds, ensuring precision riding and stability.

The SRAM GX AXS 12-speed wireless rear electronic shifting provides immediate and precise gear-shifts at all times. The Braking First brakes with customised Ducati Corse levers and 203 mm thick 3 mm discs are among the most powerful currently on the market.

The Crankbrothers Synthesis wheels with differentiated format (29” front, 27.5” rear) with variable thickness carbon rims help to further improve steering precision, guaranteeing an excellent weight/strength ratio. The tyres are Pirelli Scorpion Enduro S on the front and Pirelli Scorpion EMTB-S on the rear to offer maximum grip and adherence.

The equipment is completed by a telescopic seat post, a Renthal carbon handlebar and a Fizik saddle with special integrated tool holder.

Giorgio Favaretto, Head of e-Bicycle Business – “Ducati’s pedal assisted bicycle project took shape with the launch of the MIG-RR, the first e-mtb produced in collaboration with Thok E-Bikes. In 2022 the range of E-Bikes has been made even more complete and performing. Today, with the new Powerstage RR, Ducati strengthens its presence in the premium-range e-mountain bike segment, aimed at even more demanding bikers.”

The livery designed by Aldo Drudi in collaboration with the Centro Stile Ducati is inspired by the Desmosedici GP23 of the official MotoGP team, enhancing the unique character of this e-mtb produced in a limited edition of 230 numbered units, a figure that recalls the denomination of the racing bike.

The new Powerstage RR Limited Edition will be previewed in the paddock area during the upcoming German Grand Prix at Sachsenring and can already be ordered from the Ducati dealer network and online at www.ducati.com.

The Borgo Panigale manufacturer is gearing up to welcome all enthusiasts from 21 to 25 June at Eurobike (Frankfurt, Pavilion 8, stand I03) with the 2024 e-Bicycle range.

New Black on Black Livery for the Panigale V2

New Black on Black Livery for the Panigale V2: when boldness meets performance.

A refined combination of sportiness and elegance, the Panigale V2 moto compact transmits power at first sight. The super sports bike from Borgo Panigale is ready to give track riding enthusiasts unique emotions, thanks to its high performance, the result of intense research by Ducati technicians.

The Panigale V2, characterised by compact and muscular lines, is equipped with sophisticated electronics, designed to let the rider exploit its performance in total safety. The true sports bike DNA is also confirmed by the new standard Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres.

For 2024, Ducati updates the colour range of the Panigale V2 with a new Black on Black Livery, which accompanies the classic Ducati Red.

The new livery enhances the bold character of the Panigale V2. The predominance of dark matt grey is intercut with the presence of glossy black elements, for a refined final combination. The livery is completed by the Panigale V2 logo and the red details on the tank, fairings and wheels. Another new feature introduced by the Black on Black Livery is the saddle, with renewed graphics and materials.

The Panigale V2 is a muscular but compact bike, with essential design and decisive profiles which transmit power without losing the typical elegance of Ducati sports bikes. The surfaces of the bike, tailored around the Monocoque frame, highlight the shapes of the Superquadro twin-cylinder, while the front is dominated by the two air intakes that integrate the full-LED headlamp. The “double layer” fairing – which sees a main fairing extending upwards to ideally embrace the tank and a secondary one with the function of an air extractor – offers the typical essentiality of Ducati sports bikes, emphasising elegance and uniqueness.

A sporty style that integrates fully with the power expressed by the Panigale V2 engine, the 955 cc Superquadro twin-cylinder. Euro 5 approved, the Superquadro is as enjoyable to ride on the road as it is powerful and responsive on the track, with its 155 hp at 10,750 rpm and a torque value of 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm.

Safety and total bike control are always guaranteed by the electronic equipment of the Panigale V2, based on the use of the 6-axis inertial platform. The electronic package includes ABS Cornering EVO, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS) EVO 2 and finally Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO, which helps the rider to optimise the stability of his or her Ducati in extreme cornering conditions.

Together with the celebratory Panigale V2 Bayliss, the Panigale V2 is the only twin-cylinder in Ducati’s Panigale range.

Every Ducatista can make their Panigale V2 unique thanks to a wide range of accessories in the “Configurator” section  of the Ducati.com website, where all the components of the Sport package are available, designed to enhance the racing spirit of the bike. An entire line of Ducati’s 2023 apparel collection is dedicated to the rider, including the Ducati Corse C6 suit and the top-of-the-range Ducati Corse V6 helmet among the new models, all available on the shop Shop.Ducati.com website.

The Panigale V2 is the protagonist of the DRE Racetrack Academy, which allows you to experience all the thrills of track riding, and of the DRE Track Warm Up Academy, the new-for-2023 course of the Ducati Academy dedicated to all amateur motorcyclists who want to learn the basics for the right approach to circuit riding. Both courses include the exclusive participation of Dario Marchetti, rider, instructor and DRE Technical Director.

Special Liveries for the Official WorldSBK and MotoGP Teams for the Misano Races

The return of Giallo Ducati: special liveries for the official WorldSBK and MotoGP teams for the Misano races.

Ducati pays tribute to its history in the world of racing by announcing that both the official WorldSBK (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Team) and MotoGP (Ducati Lenovo Team) teams will compete in the Misano rounds of their respective World Championships with a special livery characterized by the return of Giallo Ducati colour.

The project was presented during a press conference held at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in which Centro Stile Ducati Director Andrea Ferraresi took part together with the Italian designer Aldo Drudi, the man who created the special livery . The unveiling for the fans took place shortly before the formation lap of Race-1 of the Italian WorldSBK round, when the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Team opened the garage door and the official riders, World Champion Alvaro Bautista and teammate Michael Ruben Rinaldi, entered the track astride their respective Panigale V4 R in Giallo Ducati with race suits coordinated with the shades of the bike.

Yellow is a colour that has an important tradition in the history of the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer. The first sport motorcycles in this colour date back to the first half of the ’70s (the 750 Sport and 750 SS Desmo of the Spaggiari team), but it was in the ’90s that Giallo Ducati, the colour that specifically inspired this livery, had the moment of greatest popularity with the adoption in the world of racing, which then extended to series production. The memorable models in Giallo Ducati certainly include the Ducati 748, whose racing version took Paolo Casoli to victory in the 1997 edition of the Supersport World Series, without forgetting superbikes such as the 916, 996, 749, 999 and other various models in the range.

“Ducati has an extraordinary history of which its passionate fans are extremely proud. The yellow colour is an important part of this and we have chosen to celebrate it through a contemporary livery full of energy. – declared Andrea Ferraresi, Ducati Centro Stile Director – Colour is an essential ingredient for brand recognition and a fundamental element for all Ducatisti. Ducati is Red, but Yellow also belongs to us and at the same time has an important tradition in Italian motorsport. Giallo Ducati reflects important aspects of our identity, such as energy, enthusiasm and audacity and is a really nice tribute to our sporting history in the year in which we race as World Champions in the two most important motorcycle championships”.

From a chromatic point of view, the livery of the Panigale V4 R of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati Team has been designed starting from the original graphic base. Giallo Ducati becomes the dominant colour of the bike and is crossed by black, grey and white blocks and lines, creating a combination that celebrates the sporting history of the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer, but at the same time gives Giallo Ducati a modern identity.

Guaranteed fun with the Hypermotard 950 RVE

Guaranteed fun with the Hypermotard 950 RVE and the new Graffiti Livery Evo livery.

The Hypermotard 950 is Bologna’s fun bike designed for all enthusiasts who want to be the protagonists of adrenaline-pumping adventures together with their bike. Sporty and fun, the Hypermotard combines exuberant performance with refined electronics that guarantee full control in every situation.

Inspired by the world of supermotards, the Hypermotard 950 is a bike with a young character that makes fun its main feature. The aggressive look invites you to get on the saddle for a riding experience of pure pleasure, supported by the latest generation Ducati technology.

For 2024, the Hypermotard 950 RVE version changes its look and is updated with new graphics called Graffiti Livery Evo.

The new livery uses water decals with the aim of obtaining a refined and complex graphic design which, as for the previous livery, is inspired by works of street art. The graphics involve the entire bike, thus creating an effect comparable to that of airbrush painting. The RVE logo, placed on the rear sides, is a further detail that identifies the new Graffiti Livery Evo livery.

The Hypermotard 950 transmits lightness and essentiality thanks to its clean shapes and taut lines. The reference to the supermotard world can be found in the high double exhaust, in the straight saddle profile and in the extreme proportions of the bike, which communicate agility and adrenaline, even when stationary. In addition to the RVE version in Graffiti Livery Evo, the Hypermotard family is made up of the standard 950 version, available in Ducati Red, and the SP version. The latter further accentuates the sporty character of the Hypermotard thanks to its Öhlins suspension with increased travel, forged Marchesini wheels and Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up and Down EVO as standard (the latter also standard on the Hypermotard 950 RVE).

The modern and sophisticated electronic sector of the Hypermotard 950 is made up of ABS Cornering Bosch EVO, integrated with the Slide by Brake function which allows controlled powersliding when entering corners in safety, and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, which can always be monitored by the 4.3” TFT display. The rider is also free to customise his riding styles and restore the operating parameters set by Ducati on the three Riding Modes Sport, Touring and Urban.

The Hypermotard family is equipped with the 937 cc Ducati Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder engine which reaches 114 hp at 9,000 rpm, while 80% of the torque is available at 3,000 rpm. All versions of the range – Hypermotard 950, 950 SP and 950 RVE – are available in depowered 35 KW versions, ideal for A2 license holders.

Accessories for Hypermotard 950
The style of your Hypermotard 950 can be made even more dynamic thanks to the Style and Sport packages and the numerous Ducati Performance accessories, designed to enhance the fun-bike’s aesthetics and versatility. From the homologated Termignoni silencers with titanium sleeve of the Sport package to the carbon fibre tank guard of the Style package, passing through the passenger grab handles and the soft tank bag: every Ducatista can choose and view their favourite accessories in the “Configurator” section of the Ducati.com website.
To reflect the energetic soul of the Hypermotard 950 in full Ducati style, a wide range of suits, jackets and helmets is available on the website Shop.Ducati.com, ready to satisfy the needs and tastes of all enthusiasts.

Hypermotard protagonist of the DRE
Young motorcyclists who ride depowered versions are at the centre of the DRE Rookie, the DRE Academy course that teaches them to acquire a safe and enjoyable riding style, bringing the concept of safety in the saddle to young people. The Hypermotard 950 and the SP version are also the protagonists of the DRE Road, the exclusive course that combines theory lessons and practice on the track to hone one’s riding skills.

Even more style for the Monster range with the new Iceberg White livery

With a sporty engine, rich in torque and perfect for road use, the Monster is Ducati’s naked sports bike par excellence. A bike for everyone, which guarantees ease of riding without any compromise in terms of fun and performance.

Ideal for those approaching the world of two wheels for the first time as well as for already expert motorcyclists, the Monster combines compactness and lightness in a modern formula that renews the naked sports concept invented by Ducati. High-level performance, always manageable thanks to cutting-edge electronics, is combined with a modern and elegant style. At the same time, the Monster retains the DNA of the first generation of 1993: the Testastretta 11° engine combined with a frame that follows Superbike concepts, the aluminium Front Frame inspired by the Panigale V4. Everything you need to have fun on your motorbike.

For 2024  Ducati has updated the colour range of the Monster with the Iceberg White livery, which is added to the Ducati Red and Aviator Grey colours. The new livery is also available for the Plus version, characterized by the addition of a front fairing and passenger seat cover that make the Monster even sportier.

The new livery enhances the essential and clean lines of the Monster thanks to the combination of cold white Iceberg White and Ducati Red chosen for the seat finish; the combination of the two colours creates a refined and contemporary look. A sporty touch is given by the red tags on the wheels.

The Monster makes lightness one of its strengths. Each component has been designed to have the lowest possible weight, from the aluminium Front Frame to the tail fixed directly to the engine, for an overall reduction of weight of 18 Kg compared to the previous generation. The result is a nimble and compact motorcycle, capable of moving easily in traffic and at the same time guaranteeing full control in every situation.

The ease of riding the Monster is supported by a comfortable position, designed to make the rider always feel at home. The 820 mm height of the saddle from the ground and the narrow sides of the bike allow you to rest your feet easily on the ground, while the position of the footrests and handlebars facilitates relaxation of the torso and legs. A comfortable riding set-up that multiplies the possibilities of having fun at any riding level.

The modern and sophisticated design focuses on the essential and enhances the distinctive features of the Monster. While the front view of the bike is dominated by the full LED projector, the rear instead sees a short and sporty tail, with two painted side panels inspired by the Panigale V4. In the centre, the Monster’s unmistakable curved and muscular fuel tank.

The electronics of the Monster are of the latest generation. The standard equipment includes ABS Cornering, Traction Control and Wheelie Control, adjustable on different levels of intervention; all the useful information for riding is clearly visible on the 4.3” colour TFT display. The sporty nature of the Monster is also enhanced by the presence of Launch Control, which allows MotoGP-style starts.

The engine is a Desmodromic Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder Euro 5 approved, with valve clearance checking and adjustment only to be carried out every 30,000 km. The maximum power and torque values are respectively 111 hp at 9,250 rpm and 93 Nm at 6,500 rpm. For A2 licence holders, the Monster is also available in a depowered 35 kW version. Reliable and ready in its power delivery, the Monster’s engine can be adapted to the needs of each rider thanks to the three Ducati Riding Modes: Sport, Touring and Urban.

Every enthusiast can choose to customise their Monster thanks to a wide range of Ducati Performance accessories, from the Termignoni approved silencer to the engine guard or racing licence plate holder. All the accessories, made with high quality components, can be consulted in the “Configurator ” section on the website Ducati.com, together with a wide range of helmets, jackets and trousers: everything required to meet the needs of every Monsterista and ride the motorcycle safely and with style.

The 2023 calendar for DRE Road, the exclusive Ducati riding course with top instructors and which includes the Monster range among the motorcycle models provided, is also available on the website Ducati.com.

Ducati Riding Experience Academy’s first UK event heralded a stunning success

The world-famous Ducati Riding Experience made its UK debut this week at the legendary Silverstone circuit with 60 participants taking to the UK’s fastest racing circuit.

In collaboration with Silverstone Circuit, the first Ducati Riding Experience Academy (DRE) in the UK took place from the 16th to the 18th of May and saw 60 participants enjoy an exclusive track experience alongside celebrity instructors including Michele Pirro, Karel Abraham, Chaz Davies, Alex De Angelis, Ferruccio Lamborghini and, of course, the DRE Chief Instructor Dario Marchetti, directly from Ducati HQ in Bologna.

The exclusive DRE has visited racetracks around the world and is best-known for being based on the best racing circuits in Italy. This event was the UK’s first taste of a track experience that is much more than a normal track day.
The comprehensive three-day package included two nights at the Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone and the ultimate motorcycle track experience with Panigale V4 hire inclusive.

Using a combination of DRE and Silverstone’s own instructors, exclusive groups of just five riders among media, top customers, and fans were able to benefit from close supervision and tuition which even included a track walk with instructors the evening before riding.
The experience was fully catered with meals throughout the three-day event and the famous Silverstone Wing pit complex was used as a base for the track riding.

DRE offers a variety of different levels: more experienced riders can sample the maximum performance of the race-bred Ducati Panigale V4 at the Advance course, while less experienced riders can join the Intermediate level to help build confidence under expert tuition.

The DRE at Silverstone was just the first of a series of new Ducati UK events as part of a Riding Experiences calendar for 2023. To complete the riding experiences portfolio, Ducati UK is also delighted to announce additional Ducati Track Days for 2023.
The first Ducati Track Day in 2023 will kick off at Donington Park GP circuit on the 23rd of May, followed by the Silverstone GP circuit on the 27th of June 2023.

Taking to the track surrounded by fellow Ducatisti, the Ducati Track Days offer an unmissable experience for any Ducati owner, from track novices, to experienced veterans and everyone in between.

Fabrizio Cazzoli, Managing Director, Ducati UK “We’re all delighted the first DRE held in the UK has been such a great success. It was fantastic to be able to see so many riders out on track on their Ducati machines, enjoying the UK’s fastest racing circuit at Silverstone.
The racetrack has always been at the very core of Ducati DNA and this kind of experience allows riders to explore the performance and Ducati technology to the ultimate level.
DRE Racetrack is the most refined format, where together with Ducati top instructors and the most premium hospitality you can have a truly unique experience, while the Ducati Track days offer the opportunity to enjoy a day on the track together with a wide community of Ducati owners.”

This is the second edition of a format that came about in preparation for World Ducati Week 2022 and which, following the success of the first gathering, has immediately become a fixed appointment on the calendar for the first Saturday in May.

Enthusiasts will gather in Ducati dealers around the world to ride together in numerous parades which, in every corner of the planet, will colour the most beautiful streets of every city and make every Ducatista proud to belong to the great Ducati family.

Among several gatherings happening at Ducati dealerships around the UK, there will be parades organised in London, Dublin, Manchester, Cardiff, Aylesbury & Scotland and with the support of Ducati Official Clubs (DOCs), are working to create a personalised program that will be unique and different for each location.

These are just a few of the many activities happening that will take place all over the world. Ducatisti will be able to join “We Ride As One” also (but not only) in London, Dublin, Madrid, Tokyo, Avignon, Munich, Shanghai, Dubai, Rio de Janeiro, Milan, New Delhi, Bangkok, Amsterdam, Brussels, Sydney and many other cities in the world.

Ducati’s official Instagram channel will report the unfolding of events around the world in real time, sharing in its Stories the exciting images and videos of parades and get-togethers with the official hashtags #WeAreDucati #WeRideAsOne.

The appointment is on 6 May in Ducati dealerships, to look passion straight in the eye and experience a memorable day surrounded by a community with the same love for two wheels and for the red bikes of Borgo Panigale.

All Ducatisti are invited to contact or go to their trusted dealer to find out about the local initiative. To find the nearest dealer, the dealer locator is available in the dedicated section of the Ducati website.

The New Ducati Scrambler on Tour in UK Ducati Dealerships

Next Gen Freedom: the new Ducati Scrambler on tour in UK Ducati dealerships.

The Next Gen Freedom Ducati Scrambler arrives on tour at Ducati Stores. From 29 March until 5 May it will be possible to see the new Ducati Scrambler range, presented as the seventh episode of Ducati World Première 2023, live. Icon, Full Throttle and Nightshift will be the protagonists of a 16-stop tour that will touch a selection of UK dealers after their debut at Motorcycle Live last November. The bikes will be on display and demo rides can be booked on site.

The new Ducati Scrambler is the perfect choice for those who want a motorcycle with a unique and recognisable style, dynamic and fun, accessible and safe for everyday use. A motorbike designed for those who seek freedom and wish to share their style and way of being with others.

The second generation confirms the simplicity and authenticity that have always represented essential values for all Ducati Scrambler enthusiasts. Air-cooled Desmodue twin-cylinder engine, trellis frame, wide handlebars, low centre of gravity and riding fun are enhanced by advanced electronics and a more modern styling.

The result of this recipe are three Ducati Scrambler models: Icon, Full Throttle and Nightshift. Three motorbikes with different styling, united by a relaxed riding position and low weight, to offer enthusiasts of all experience and abilities great riding pleasure, both in the city and on out-of-town trips.

The customisation concept, which has always been a distinguishing feature of the Ducati Scrambler, goes even further with this second generation thanks to the new Icon tank. The coloured portion is a cover that can be replaced, as can the mudguards, wheel tags and small front headlight covers. Thus the look of the Ducati Scrambler can be adapted to all tastes with great ease. In fact, the three standard colours (’62 Yellow, Thrilling Black and Ducati Red) are joined by a further six, available as accessory kits, to dress up the new Ducati Scrambler Icon in nine different liveries.

Ducati Communication System V3 by Cardo

For the travellers, but also for those who ride their Ducati every day, the Borgo Panigale company presents the new Ducati Communication System V3 by Cardo.

The new intercom offers enthusiasts the most innovative communication technologies – such as Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) connectivity – without sacrificing the unmistakable Ducati red.

The streamlined, antenna-free silhouette makes this intercom aerodynamic, improving comfort, silence and aesthetics, and the magnetic mount for attachment to the helmet simplifies installation. Ducatisti can thus fully enjoy the sights and sensations of any trip without distraction or discomfort, supported by excellent connectivity.

It is equipped with the Dynamic Mesh Communication system, which guarantees stable performance and enables connection to a group of up to 15 motorcyclists within a radius of 1.6 km. It can also connect to any Bluetooth device by managing functions with voice commands, with automatic switching between intercom and phone.

Cardo’s proven Mesh connectivity allows the device to leave and rejoin the group automatically, without complicated procedures to be carried out when traffic conditions or an unexpected change of route lead to getting away from friends. Its high autonomy (13 hours with a two-hour full charge) makes it extremely practical. If necessary, with a quick charge of just 20 minutes, you already have two hours of autonomy. Software updates are possible via USB cable or via the Cardo Connect app.

A synthesis of comfort, practicality and ease of use, to make every journey an unforgettable experience.

The new  Ducati Communication System V3 by Cardo is available from the official Ducati network and it will be soon available at Shop.Ducati.com.
